Emune turned on the oil lamp and placed it in the middle of the table. He tried to convince his friends that he did not mind if they did not want to come find the dragon Elqoz. The journey to Onykz alone has been very tiring, especially later they have to face the dragon.
“I'm coming,” said Leonz. “I'm happy to travel with you guys. Instead of staying in Llyohawee .. I was told to keep learning,” said Leonz sadly.
Though he only briefly went there earlier but his head was dizzy told to read spell books, memorize potion ingredients and learn to use a magic wand. He never used a magic wand and it felt strange to channel energy into a wand. He prefers to use his hands, like his mother who always moves gracefully when bewitching something.
Avena wanted to pinch Leonz's cheek. What's the weight of learning rather than the possibility of being an Elqoz meal?
“Horeen, Avena, how?” ask Emune.
“I think I can still get around a little more,” said Horeen. The green tendrils around him moved slowly.
Avena tilted her lips while raising both of her shoulders slightly. “I'm not too sure but well, there may be interesting on the way.”
“Thank you. I think we should get out of Orsgadt and find a safe way across the magical world.” Emune breathed a sigh of relief from having a reliable friend on the way.
“You're not waiting for Elric?” ask Proner.
“I think Elric would be better off without me.” Emune replied with a hint of doubt and a pile of sadness.
“That's sad,” chirps Leonz.
“Sok adult! You know what about romance?” Avena pinched Leonz's cheek. Leon grimacing.
Proner immediately pushed Avena and hugged Leonz. “You're this. She's still a kid.”
“Ah, you just had a crush on the adult version earlier, didn't you?” scorn Avena.
“Of course not!” sahut Proner's. Yes, the adult version of Leonz did make him stunned, so did Horeen but Leonz who is now very adorable, according to him.
“Asmara, yes? What's importance?” Horeen darted away. It was Horeen's custom to come and go as she pleased.
“Where is he going?” ask Avena. “I'll follow him.”
“I think they like each other,” chirped Leonz. He opened a small basket and offered food to Proner and Emune.
“Le-Leonz ...” Proner grimacing. Sometimes the boy's curse astonished him.
The loud thud outside put Emune and Proner on standby. Proner peeked out of the doorway and clucked to see the tree he was leaning against had fallen. What else is this, he thought. Just as he was about to come out, a loud push made his face kiss the door leaf.
“A-what ...” Proner was holding his sore nose.
A young man came in and called out.
“Emun! Honey!” exclaim that young man.
“Elric! Elric!” Emune jumped to see who was coming.
The prisoner recognized the young man. Ah, yes, Emune's girlfriend.
Two more people came in. Greg and Fiona. Emune, who had been hugged and kissed by Elric, ran towards the two. The heartwarming encounter between the three made Leonz's eyes tear up. He was immediately put on the bench by Proner.
“You kept your word. Thank you,” Greg told Proner. Proner nodded and shook Greg's outstretched hand at him.
Leonz, who was in Proner's hand, touched Greg's hand and casually whispered to Greg: You will be a great father. Greg smiled at Leonz and immediately approached Fiona.
Emune introduces Leonz to Elric, Greg and Fiona. The little girl was happy to be the center of attention of many people even though it was clear that she was indeed the most clingy with Emune and Proner.
“Alfred and others?” ask Emune.
“They wait outside the border. We can meet them tomorrow,” replied Elric.
“We need to get out of Orsgadt right now. Our mission is certain, so there is no need to delay again,” Emune said.
“But, Emune. We just met and I want to take you to Eimersun.” Elric clasped Emune's hand.
“Hmmm, we should let them talk together,” said Greg who felt a little tension between Elric and Emune.
“Thank you,” said Emune.
When everyone was out, Elric immediately pulled and grabbed Emune. Her heart was about to break because it was so happy to see her lover again. Emune was a little thin yet her eyes were still eyes that were full of vigor and radiated kindness.
“I miss you,” said Emune while leaning against Elric's chest. From the pounding of his heart, he knew Elric felt the same way. He just wanted Elric to understand that there was still another dangerous journey he had to take. Without Elric.
“I too. I'm calm now. You don't want to go to Eimersun, it's okay, I'll follow you wherever you go.” Elric stroked Emune's cheek.
“Elric, you can't come. Only I, Proner, Avena, Leonz and Horeen can leave. Olevander said that in order to defeat Goenhrad I must take the heart of the dragon Elqoz. Only the five of us can go.” Emune looked seriously at Elric's face. He didn't want Elric to force him to come because it would be very dangerous.
“Elqoz? Crazy one! I won't let you go through such danger.” Elric felt Emune was too fixated on his intention of defeating Goenhrad to think of his own safety.
“I have to go. This is the only way to stop Goenhrad. Please, understand.”
“I think I can change your mind. How can I calmly let you go?” Elric said bitterly.
Emune clasped Elric's hand. “Right now I can only ask you for help to return to Eimersun. Greg and Fiona are gonna tell Arrand. I hope with the dragon's heart, Goenhrad will fall. Anthura can no longer appear on Artamea.”
Elric was very upset. He felt he had no power whatsoever to help Emune. He should have accompanied her through all the hardships but Emune instead asked her to return to Eimersun. “Good. You have to be careful. Hear you? Don't make me flinch and chase you to Moughty.”
Emune laughed amusedly. “I'll be fine. Just look, we will definitely be back.”
“I'll tell Dad about this. He would be happy to know you're alive. He always blamed himself for not being able to help Orrsgadt back then.” Elric also had to do something and draw up a supporting force for Emune.
“Tell my regards that it wasn't his fault. I'll be right back. Will you wait for me?” ask Emune sweet.
“Definitely. You're the only one I've been waiting for, ” replied Elric. It should be me fighting the dragon and Emune waiting for me in Eimersun. This is not true!
They look friendly. Elric pulled Emune's chin and kissed her again. He didn't want to let go because this could be their last kiss right now. Emune enjoyed the warmth of Elric's lips until he sighed, as if he would no longer meet her.
The door of the cottage opened, Avena shouted. “You need to get out now!”
Elric took Emune down and took her running out of the cottage. Arriving outside, they were astonished to see a large wolf pack growling and approaching. Their fangs and sharp fingernails were ready to rip apart anyone near them.
“Goenhrad pet animal. Shit, how did he know we were here?” greg was angry. He pulled Fiona behind him.
“I don't think we're the ones being targeted but Olevander's grandfather. Thank goodness grandpa is gone,” said Leonz relieved.
Thank goodness? Avena glared at Leonz. This boy did not understand that right now it was precisely those who were in danger.
“Give me,” Avena said. With a twisting motion of his hand he lifted up the huge tree that had fallen and swung it towards the dozens of wolves ahead there. The wild animals fell, were thrown and some were hit by tree trunks. The rest who survived Avena's rampage immediately ran away and disappeared into the darkness.
“Bigger! It must have been that damn witch,” umpat Proner.
“We have to think of a way to get out of Orsgadat gate without getting caught,” Fiona said.
“No need to bring horses. Me and Avena will take you across this wall,” Horeen said.
They all made it out of Orsgadt by crossing the border wall. After everyone pulls over and hides in the woods, Avena searches for Alfred and tells Elric and the others where they are gathered. He then followed Horeen who grumbled all the way. He and Horeen are the descendants of fairies so they understand how dangerous humans are if they meet these beasts. This time he agreed to teach Goenhrad a lesson.
The palace buildings were indeed protected by magic that they could not penetrate but that did not mean they could not do something. Horeen made a wide and deep ravine around the lake so that there was no more entrance to the palace. The ground trembled and crackling sounds rang out as a portion of the soil layer collapsed.
Avena who already disliked Goenhrad from the story people made a light sweep in the air with both hands. All the water in the lake surrounding the palace moved up and formed an iceberg that covered the palace to the highest peak of its tower.
“Very good. I think it can cool their evil brains for a while,” Horeen praised.
Avena could not believe that Horeen praised her like that. The fairy was so haughty, annoying and narcissistic.
“You are also great,” Avena said in praise of Horeen. “Thank you for rescuing me in that desert,” he said again then darted away shyly.
Horeen was silent for a moment. “Hmmm, finally he says thank you,” murmured. He turned his head for a while, smiling with satisfaction at the two of them and then returned to the edge of the forest where Emune and the others had gathered.

Yhourin who was on top of Goenhrad's body stopped kissing the man's chest. The cold air that entered and filled the palace dissipated his passion. Goenhrad would protest because the girl got down from his body and walked towards the window but seeing Yhourin's haunted gaze, he chose silence.
Yhourin cast a spell and placed both hands on the wall. Hot air started to creep up on the palace walls. Its power was not enough to melt the ice outside the palace but this was enough to make the entire palace warm. He pulled his hand and returned to Goenhrad's arms.
He cursed in his heart. Those elves were only despicable creatures who would not be able to defeat him. He thought about waking up the Anthura dragon and messing up the whole of Artamea mercilessly.
“Back when you're ready, damn cockroaches,” he said furious.
Goenhrad who already understood Yhourin's temper just hugged and kissed the nape of the girl. He doesn't care what happens next. Because until now only Yhourin was valuable to him. He did not bother if this palace or Artamea was destroyed, as long as Yhourin remained with him.
