Orsgadts

Orsgadts
Olevander and Ancient Divination

Lousy. That was how Emune felt as he and his friends gathered in Onykz. He actually did not want to be a bully but his desire was very strong to make sure Horeen and Avena got what they wanted. That way he could calmly leave them.

Proner leaned against the tree while playing a small twig. He looked at Emune almost without blinking. That girl is really big-spirited. In an emergency, he does not want to involve others, even though Proner has tried to convince him to ask for help Horeen and Avena to face Goenhrad.

The Proner had already declared allegiance to Orsgadt's daughter so there was nothing else for him to worry about. He is also calmer and happier because his house is still well maintained. His neighbor's aunt told him that the house was often used as a stopover for travelers and merchants who could not afford the rent of lodging in Orsgadt.

The head-scalping Proner heard how expensive the cost of living in Orsgadt is today. He does not mind, at least it can help others who are in trouble. His father and mother would do the same because they were kind people.

Olevander's cottage is not far from Proner's house. A visible light spread out from the small hut. Olevander has arrived. The Proner approached Emune. They walked closer.

“I've been waiting for you,” said a voice from inside the cottage.

The Proner wanted to enter but seeing the very enthusiastic Avena, he retreated and gave way to the mixed elf.

Avena walked in and saw a tall, white-haired old man standing and looking out the window.

“I Avena, I am—”

“Not you. I'm waiting for another,” said Olevander while stroking his beard which is also white.

“But I—“

“Come. It's not time you met me.”

Avena came out while grumbling. Out of annoyance, he sat under the tree where Proner had been and put on a sullen face.

Horeen went into the cottage. His face was cheerful as he would be free from the curse. He had not even spoken a single word when Olevander told him to come out with the same sentence that the old man had told Avena.

Emotionally ignored by Olevander, he pulled over and nagged himself under the lushness of the tree. His anger was evident as the leaves of the trees fell one by one and the tree trunk turned black like charcoal.

“Young girl, come in,” Olevander command.

Emune looked towards Proner. “I?” tanyanya was not sure. The Proner only replied with a nod even though his face was as confused as Emune's.

Emune went into the cottage. Olevander was an old man, like Urndie but his body was tall and his voice was rather hoarse and mysterious. The man looked at Emune and smiled.

“Finally you return to your homeland, Elizai.” The old man greeted Emune, hugged him and helped him sit down. He smiled as he felt the protective power that Erreandrey had given Emune.

“You know me?” ask Emune astonished.

“Of course. I am one of the pillars of Orsgadt. The only one who arranged for you to survive the massacre. Very bad business .. crime is unforgivable.”

“If you know, why not warn my family?” ask Emune riled.

“Of course I told your grandfather. However, your grandfather was bound to his responsibilities as a king. He chose to sacrifice himself in order to fulfill the Ancient Divination.”

“Ancient Forecast?”

“Ya.” Olevander knocked on the wooden table in front of him. “You can enter if you want to listen to me,” he said firmly.

Avena, Horeen and Proner enter the cabin. They seem embarrassed to be caught eavesdropping. Olevander chuckles.

“A unique small group, human, pure fairy and mixed offspring. Reminds me of the journey to Black Mountain,” he said. He chuckles back. “Still one less, maybe he's a little late. Orsgadt is quite tiring to visit.”

“Excuse me, can I come in?” a melodious voice from behind the cottage door interrupted them.

“Of course, come in,” says Olevander.

A beautiful golden long haired girl wearing a dark hooded robe entered while carrying a small basket. Only Olevander knew her because the others were gaped at the girl's beauty.

“I don't like Orsgadt. Dark, quiet and weird,” said the girl. He smiled at Emune. “How are you? Everything's fine, isn't it?” ask the girl. “I miss you guys,” said the girl again with a slightly moody face. A moment later he smiled. “I'm glad to be here now.”

“Who is he?” venom whispered Avena to Proner.

“I don't know,” replied Proner.

Horeen watched the girl closely. He sure doesn't recognize it.

Emune approached the girl and hugged her. “Leonz! It's you, huh?”

“Leonz?” ask Horeen, Avena and Proner together.

The girl Emune hugged gradually shrank to the Leonz they knew. “You remember me. Thank you.”

“Waah, would you be that pretty if you grew up? Just look, Proner and Horeen just had a crush on you earlier.” Emune laughs.

“I was forced, in order to sneak here.” Leonz approaches Avena, Horeen and Proner. He hugged and kissed their cheeks one by one after casting a protective spell so as not to contract the misfortune of Horeen.

Olevander gives them a little time to chat. “Because everyone is here, sit down, I'll continue,” he said after a while.

“When the first Great King Orsgadt died, he asked Fairy King Dougraff to foresee the future of Orsgadt. The fairy king refused because it would only incriminate the departure of the king, his best friend. Because the king insisted, he finally gave him a scroll containing a prophecy.” Olevander was silent for a moment. “The forecast says that there will come a period of darkness in the land of Orsgadt. An heir to the throne will pass through a sea of blood and tears to seize the throne.”

“That's it?” ask Avena.

“Why hasn't anyone heard of this prophecy?” ask Horeen. He who is a fairy also does not know.

“Means not knowing whether the throne will be captured or not.” Proner gave a horrified cry.

“Your Majesty the Great King of Orsgadt must be very worried about the future of his country,” murmured Emune.

“Grandfather, can I have a drink? I'm thirsty,” plain Leonz said.

“Little boy, we're tense and you're asking for water?” Avena clenched her hands furiously.

Emune's got Avena. “Allow me,” said Emune to Olevander who immediately nodded. Emune went to the table where the water jug and glass were clean and took her and gave Leonz a glass. The little girl drank it all out.

“You really look like your late mother, the good and loving daughter of the king.” Olevander smiled at Emune. He then stared alternately at Horeen and Proner. “The forecast was sealed by Fairy King Dougraff and yes, Proner, it depends on you now,”.

“Please tell me how to beat Goenhrad.” Emune went straight to the core of his arrival intent.

“You should wake Elqoz. Only Elqoz is a comparable opponent for Anthura.” Olevander stroked his white beard. It was like he was looking far away.

“Elqoz? That lazy dragon?” ask Avena.

“She is not ‘naga slackers’ but ‘dissenters’. You never learn, do you?” Horeen tried to correct Avena's words. “Truly strange girl.”

“You think my fairy mother has time to tell me all the contents of the magical world?” Avena sewot's.

“Avena, Horeen, relax.” Emune mediates. “How to find it?”

“He fell asleep on Mount Moughty in the southern part of the magical world. You have to take his heart. Before you go there you must go to the sea of Kigurst to collect five blood pearls from beautiful mermaids. They are very beautiful but also very sensitive. Men should be careful not to be tempted to dive with them.” Olevander looked alternately at Proner and Horeen. “I don't think it's going to be difficult. The five of you can handle it. Well, the blood pearl will be the key to open the mountain gate Moughty.”

“How can we get into the magical world? We, I mean me and Proner are just ordinary humans.” Emune hopes there are spells that will move them anywhere easily.

“Of course you can. You have Orsgadt's heirloom in your pocket and Proner has Erreandrey's sword, right?” ask Olevander.

“My book gave you a sword?” ask Leonz curiously.

Proner nodded. “Yes. Once he knew my sword was just a wooden sword.it could not protect Emune, he said.”

“Wood sword? You wander like a swordsman with just a wooden sword? I must be crazy. We'll be Elqoz's snack,” Avena holding her head suddenly dizzy.

“I like snacks. Hmmm, I often make cakes from flower nectar. Delicious,” said Leonz with a sinless face.

“Then there is a child whose work sleep continues and plays. What am I supposed to do?” Avena is worried about her life if she continues to be with these freaks.

“What will you do?” ask the soft Olevander.

Avena raised her face that was immersed between two arms on the table. “A-I ...”

Olevander smiles. “Nothing is more fun than a stressful long trip with unique people, is it? The power you want to lose is a legacy from your mother. It's worth it because that's the only way to protect you.”

Avena. He was closer to his mother than his human father. After his mother died, his father dissolved in grief. He could not even see Avena's face, which was very similar to his mother's. Soon he died, taking his grief away forever. Now he was conscious and horrified to imagine what would happen if he did not have this power.

“And you, Horeen. I think you're gonna have fun too. You have made a wide chasm near Dumina. Hmmm, I hope not to trigger anything else. Well, anyway, the curse will disappear later.”

“What should I do?” ask Leonz.

“Hahaha, Leonz, you will be their light,” replied Olevander.

“I haven't been able to make light for a long time,” Leonz said.

Avena patted her eel, she was dizzy again.

“That dragon heart, how to use it?” ask Proner.

“Throw it at your enemy,” said Olevander casually. He took out a small bottle and gave it to Emune. “This drug will destroy any toxins that enter the body as long as it has not reached the heart. One drop only.”

“Thank you,” said Emune.

“I must go before the witch Goenhrad goes berserk. Elizai, your path is indeed full of obstacles and will hurt but you are never alone.”

The light that originally illuminated the hut gradually dissipated, as did Olevander. They stayed in the dark for a while. Each one is busy with his thoughts. Their daydreams scatter as the light returns to illuminate the room.

“I can make light,” Leonz said with a sweet smile. Emune's eyes widened, amazed at the light that was above Leonz's palm.

Unfortunately the light only lasted for a short while, they were again enveloped in darkness.
