Elric took off his embrace. Emune has to leave and he doesn't want the girl to feel heavy to leave him again. They both have a very strong promise of loyalty and Elric believes Emune will return later. If not, he will follow.
Emune smiles at Elric and walks quickly to where Leonz, Proner, Avena and Horeen are. He turned around for a moment to see the people he loved staring at him. Greg embraces Fiona who looks sad but struggles hard to keep her tears from spilling.
“I'm ready,” Emune told Leonz.
The emune enters the innermost circle of two circles that Proner made with the sword of light. Leonz guided him to stand above the halfway line and asked him to take out his Emerald Edyssia. Emune wrapped the necklace around her right arm and clasped the pendulum tightly. Leonz looked towards Proner, Horeen and Avena who then nodded at him.
Leonz blew out the magic powder and made a light protector. If this failed, he could at least protect his friends from the possibility of their bodies being scattered. The little girl made a thin layer of magic powder on her left palm and then placed her hand on Emune's right hand.
He could feel the energy waves pulling on his magic powder, swirling around, then the waves enveloped them. A loud bang pressed against the protector made by Leonz. The wave hit anything nearby, including all those who were letting go.
Horeen and Avena who had fairy blood did not really feel the effects of the shock but Emune and Proner, their bodies like being slammed and broken. When the pain had already reached its peak, a dazzling bright light was visible to the five of them. In a moment, the light disappeared.
Leonz smiled, he managed to arrive safely. They've moved elsewhere. Looking at the vast sand and water ahead, he was sure this was the Kigurst Sea.
“We have arrived,” said Leonz happily.
He looked up because no one spoke his words. His face was startled for a moment then changed with an amused laugh. In front of him, his four friends were lying on a boil. The four of them groaned in pain, especially Horeen who was at the bottom.
“Build! You guys are so heavy!” horeen Protest.
Emune who was in the top pile immediately slumped down. His bones hurt like they were beaten with a stick.
“Sick once. Do we have to walk after this?” ask Emune. He was not sure he could support his own body with his painful limbs.
“Truly how to appear uncool,” grumbled Avena. He felt a bit of pain from the pounding handle of Proner's sword.
“I'm fine. Only back pain,” said the proner with a gasp breath. How not, he was hit by two girls at once. He struggled to sit. His eyes sharply looked towards Avena who was above him. “You should arrange your meal. Why are you so heavy?”
“What? There was Emune above me,” protest Avena.
“Is that?” ask Proner in a doubtful tone. “Emune not fat.”
“Huh, silly traveller base.” Avena sent a cold mist to punch Proner. The man immediately shouted in pain.
Emune approached Leonz after feeling better. “You all right, Leonz?”
“It's okay. I landed perfectly with my two tiny legs,” said Leonz proudly.
Avena growled in annoyance. The little boy was the only one who did not woe as they moved.
“We'd better take a break, Leonz. We cannot continue the journey with a crumpled body like this.” Proner massaged his stiff neck.
“We don't have time. We have to get to Tanjung Penantian this afternoon. The mermaids will appear just as the sun sinks.” Leonz weighed something in his mind.
“Can't we use the Killgins Circle again?” ask Avena.
“I don't want to bet to use it again because maybe that's the only way we'll come back later,” Leonz replied.
“I think Leonz is right,” says Emune.
“You are not on the list of people I have to carry,” replied Horeen ketus. The ungrateful wanderer, grumbled inwardly.
Proner scratched his head. He imagined having to walk until the afternoon to the cape that was out of nowhere.
“Do not worry. You can rest along the way because we will ride the rock crab. Horeen and Avena can also save their manpower for later.” Leonz smiled sweetly.
“Cleopper stone?” Proner was nauseous first because he remembered the trip with the black lion first.
Leonz smiles. “Yes. The crab is very good,” said Leonz. The little girl extended her hand westward and then flicked her thumb and middle finger.
Silent. Emune was curious to see what would come next as well as others. Still quiet, nothing. Did Leonz use his powers wrongly?
Leonz repeated the action three times but still did not succeed. He's pissed off. Once again he stood extending his hand towards the west but instead of flicking his finger, he only made a small twisting motion.
The ground trembled for a moment. Initially only a small vibration then enlarged and made the ground fly. The rock hill to the west moved up in a terrifying voice. Similar to when the land was swollen because of the actions of Horeen first. The rock hill moved and approached. Proner immediately grabbed Leonz while Horeen was on guard.
The big thing they thought was a rock hill turned out to be a giant stone crab that was almost three meters high. The stone shell was not flat like an ordinary stone crab, it really resembled a stone mound.
Leonz pulled his hand and turned to Proner. “He's funny, isn't he?”
“I-iya,” answered Proner nervously.
“He should have said that the crab was this big. My heart is like to be dislodged,” Avena's nag.
“I too. Leonz is indeed an amazing boy.” Emune grimacing.
They climbed onto the backs of the stone crabs. Outside of their shadows, there was a stretch of grass on it so they could sit comfortably. The uneven backs also help to keep them from tumbling down as the giant creature moves.
Giant crabs descend a small hill towards the beach. As it moved on the sand, the loud noise made by the creature's legs was quite muffled. Leonz patted the creature's back fondly.
There was nothing else they could do at the moment. They'll leave the travel business to their ride. As long as they can, they will rest while enjoying the beauty of the Kigurst Sea.
Emune opens the Book of Wisdom. He searched the pages containing the story of the Kigurst Sea. They later had to deal with the mermaids so he wanted to know what their weaknesses were.
Emune caught Horeen's slow movements with her eye tail. The elf was staring at Avena. It was not the annoyed or disgusted look that the Horeen usually cast on Avena but the gentle gaze. Yeah, it's like Horeen's in love.
Emune looked towards Avena. The fairy mixed girl was engrossed in staring at the blue sea in front of her. He did not seem to know that he was being noticed by Horeen. Wait, did something happen between them?
Smiling mischievously, Emune grabbed a dried tree seed that he did not know his name, then threw it towards the transfixed Horeen. The dried seeds hit the Horeen temple. The elf wavered and immediately exclaimed in shock. “A-I love you, Avena!”
Avena turned to Horeen who was sculpting in embarrassment after saying the sentence earlier. He said nothing but turned his back to hide his red cheeks. Horeen immediately lowered her head.
“What are they dating?” ask Leonz to Proner.
“Mu-maybe,” answered Proner hesitantly. If Avena and Proner are dating, they can continue to fight, her mind.
Emune laughed and watched the incident. Ridiculous, he thought. Horeen fell in love with Avena? They were like water and fire, or cats and mice so strange that hearing Horeen's confession just now.
“Girl fad,” grumbled Horeen upset and embarrassed. He hoarded Emune with dried leaves. Even so, Emune still laughed amusedly.
