Waking up to the sound of birds chirping and the warmth of the sun, Emune rubbed his face slowly. Last night was shocking and frightening. He could not imagine what would happen if Avena and Horeen did not come soon enough.
Emune looked over and checked the situation. He smiled seeing Leonz still curled up in Proner's arms. There was a new sight for Emune when he saw Avena still asleep in Horeen's arms.
The prisoner woke up first. He, like Emune, was surprised to see the friendly-looking Avena and Horeen. Proner's ignorant smile instantly disappeared as Emune glared.
Just now Emune was going to scold Proner, knowing Leonz was already standing in front of Horeen and Avena. The little girl tapped on both shoulders with a twig. Avena and Horeen were shocked and woke up. Avena's face flushed red while Horeen pretended to look the other way.
“Dating continues. We have to go to Eimersun,” said Leonz ketus. After saying so, the little girl was busy making the Circle of Killgins.
Emune and Proner laughed out loud. Upset by Proner's excessive laughter, Avena slaps him with a haze of ice. After being content to disturb each other, they then prepared to enter the Circle of Killgins.
Leonz had not started doing anything when Proner suddenly came out of the circle and walked to a nearby rock. He leaned over to pick something up and turned around and called out to the others.
“Hey, look! I found a ring!” shouted Proner. A shiny object was between the thumb and index finger of his right hand. The Proner walks slowly towards the circle.
Out of nowhere, a strong wind blew. The leaves made a loud noise as the wind hit their strands. Birds and other animals ran away. A crackling sound rang out all around them.
“Oh, no! Don't again!” emune shouted as the large trees moved forward slowly shutting down the five of them.
Avena and Horeen prepare for the attack. They were about to go berserk when three creatures that looked like Horeen yet taller and had a sinister face like the bark of a very old tree appeared in front of them. They are clearly not human.
“Stolen!”
“Restore King Drav ring.”
The two elves who were on the left and right spoke in heavy and very loud voices. Emune and Proner closed their ears.
“Who's King of Drav?” whispered Emune to Horeen.
“King Peri Forest. Very fierce and unpleasant,” replied Horeen.
“Yang in the middle of it?’ ask Avena.
“Yes. Don't look him in the eye,” Horeen told me. Horeen clucked in annoyance, instead of looking down, Emune and Avena instead glared at the king.
Proner looked at the ring he had in his hand. He went ahead and pushed it.
“I accidentally found it,” said Proner.
The elf on the left took the ring from Proner's hand and attacked Proner until the man fell. Leonz is angry that Proner was attacked like that but Proner is holding him back. Horeen came forward and apologized to the Drav King.
“We regret it but our friend did not accidentally find it, Your Honor,” said Horeen.
King Drav turned his head towards Proner. “Bring him. He will be my daughter's husband,” the king told his two bodyguards.
Leonz could no longer contain his anger because they dared to take Proner away from him. The little girl stood up, pointing towards the Drav King.
All the creatures in the place were gaping, looking towards Leonz. Had Emune or Avena spoken earlier, it might have made sense but Leonz was a kid so it sounded funny and strange in their ears. Horeen mendeham, reminding that their opponent is not an indiscriminate fairy.
“He's kidding, isn't he?” venom on Emune.
“I don't think so,” replied Emune.
The Proner who had stood up laughed amusedly at Leonz's words. He was silent when he was glared at by the little girl. Leonz's spell yesterday is still working so Proner doesn't remember anything about a future marriage with Leonz.
“Bring these brash creatures,” the king's word finally.
Two of King Drav's bodyguards moved forward snatching Emune and Proner. Horeen did not let him. He pulled the two away first. The emotionally charged Leonz scattered his magic powder and moved his hand. The two guards turned into tree branches and fell to the ground.
The Drav King was wrathful and in an instant Emune and his friends were already bound by thick and hard vines. The more they tried to break away, the tighter the tangle of tendrils bound them.
The Drav King returns both of his guards to their fairy forms. Suddenly three bright red tigers emerged from the crevice of the tree that locked the fifth. Sharp fangs and terrifying claws seemed ready to tear Emune and his companions apart.
Emune tried to free his right hand. He only needs one chance to free his friends. Now or they'll all be starving tigers. After his right hand was freed, Emune pulled his necklace pendulum and pointed it at the Drav King.
“I'm Princess Orsgadt. You must submit to me!” exclaim Emune with an authoritative and loud voice.
King Drav glared in disbelief. Either because of Emune's words or because of the Emerald Edyssia that was in Emune's hands. He walked up to Emune, his lips grinning. A moving twig scratched Emune's arm until the dripping blood fell to the ground.
Emune grimacing. If King Drav needs proof with blood, then so be it, he thought. My blood can run out if all the magical creatures ask him like this, his mind cries.
The Drav King bowed his head solemnly. “Pardon the presumption of the servant, Mr. Princess,” he said slowly. Seeing the king bowing, the guards and the haunted tigers bowed their heads.
“Kumusikan. Free us!” emune's orders.
The Drav King raised his head then in an instant the three tigers disappeared, as did the trees that locked them away. Emune and his friends were gently lowered to stand on the grass.
“News from the south turned out to be true. The descendants of Great King Orsgadt are still alive. Thank goodness ... thank goodness,” said King Drav. The look in his eyes that had been so sinister was now softened when he saw Emune.
Emune breathed a sigh of relief. He rubbed the wound on his arm. “I hope we do not make great damage that could disturb the peace of this forest. We have to make an important trip.”
“Of course not. We are ready to help, whatever the Princess needs,” said Raja Drav.
“I don't want to involve you in this matter. We have to go now,” Emune said.
“Allow me help. Mr. Princess will find a great ally on the border of Eimersun,” said King Drav.
Emune did not know what the king meant but he knew that his ancestors were great kings who were so good that they had many loyal followers like Elqoz. Emune nodded.
“Glory to Orsgadt and Her Majesty the Queen,” said King Drav.
The tendrils that had been entangling them were now gathering them together within the circle of Killgins. Without a spell, without the help of the Emerald Edyssia, Emune and his friends disappeared from the Magic Forest.
