Back to Jakarta

"Maybe we should make peace with the situation, Bang. Forgetting let alone hating Brother, won't be enough to make me forget. By keeping closer, as if the heart is constantly reminded, that we are not meant to be together. Try to create happiness, Bang. Let us enjoy the bitterness of life. As long as we are able to shrink what our burdens are, God will help to lighten."

Dave looked towards Deva. She knew how hurt she was when she said that. Giving comfort when your own heart is hurt, is definitely not an easy thing. However, Deva's words were correct. Trying too hard to forget and stay away, will only torture yourself. Happiness must be created by itself. Undergoing what is believed, with boundaries that are now increasingly clear.

"Oh, yes .. have you got a place to stay? Or still living in the house of the gods?" Dave switched the conversation.

"No, Bang. No time to find a boarding place. Yes ... I'm still at the Lord's house." Deva gave her a fleeting smile.

"Find another place as soon as you can, Bee. Debt cannot be counted and replaced with anything. Different from debt. Don't bind yourself any longer with the good we never valued. Learn from me, because of my return, determine my own soul mate even I can't afford."

Deva simply replied to Dave with a small nod. The two continued to go slowly, briefly enjoying their togetherness to last longer. They stopped right in front of the shop where Dewa and Dira were inside. Dave and Deva, don't intend to follow. The two people who still loved each other chose to wait outside.

"If I can't find happiness. Please make me happy. If anyone else can accept, understand, and love you better, take it, Bee. I'll be happy."

Deva did not chimed in on Dave's remarks. Because a moment later, Dira and Dewa are seen appearing while carrying two paper bags that somehow contain what.

"I've given you enough time to reminisce. Now, it's my turn to walk with Dave." Dira releases his hand grip on the arm of the God. Then he took the paper bag that was in the hands of God without saying a word of thanks.

"You guys keep going. If there is us, of course your approach will be disrupted. Have fun. Hopefully soon." Dira is like expelling the gods and devas by force.

"All right, we'll go first. Bang, I'm ahead." Deva said goodbye with a smile that was made as smooth as possible.

"All right, don't fight mutely. If you can't be a couple like a newlywed in general, start with a friendship first." The god said it while looking at Dave and Dira in turn. A moment later, he also followed Deva's steps which were not too wide.

"Dave, bawain, dong." Dira held out a paper bag at the man she called.

"Bring yourself, Dir. If you want to be spoiled, I'm not the right person to be able to obey all you want," Dave said casually.

"Dave ... can't you be nice to me?" Dira stomped his feet full of annoyance.

"You'd better sleep, Dir. I wish I could be sweet in your dreams. Don't take me alive in reality, it looks like it's going to be hard. I'm going for another walk. If you want to come, please. I don't mind." Dave sauntered leisurely leaving Dira still dumbstruck with his words.

Dave had gone a long way. The man not only toured Malioboro, but his footsteps increasingly firmly away from the area towards the palace. Very long distance if it must be reached by foot, especially with the condition of Dira who is carrying goods and also wear high heels as high as three inches. What a torment to Dira.

Dave occasionally looks at his forced wife. A sneaky smile continued to tip from the tip of the man's lips. "You want to be together, don't you? This is our first togetherness. Hope you're impressed, Dir. And wait for our next togetherness. We'll make memories of both."

Dira hurriedly took the medicine in his pants pocket. He did not want his emotions to become more. From this moment on, he would try to keep his emotions in check. Dira will be Deva. At least, his relationship and Dave must survive until he can find David. If necessary, he'll tie Dave even further.

On the other hand, Deva and the Gods had instead returned to the hotel. God hopes that tomorrow's work can be done and completed earlier than the scheduled time. Of course so they can catch a flight during the day. The god hopes that the matter of Deva and the family of Deborah, soon finds a bright spot.

After their work was completed, Dewa and Deva headed straight to the airport to return to Jakarta. Both are deliberately carrying their belongings so that they no longer need to return to the hotel.

"Dev, we meet Debora immediately, or want to go home first when you get to Jakarta later?" ask God.

Deva thought for a moment. " Ehm .. Just go ahead, sir. After from Deborah's place, I'd all like to find a boarding or contract."

"Why should I move? Don't you feel at home with my mom?" The god immediately turned towards Deva who was now passing through the door of the domestic departure gate detector.

"It's not like that, sir. After all, me and Mades were other people. There was also a father in the house. It's not worth living together. Not to mention that many other employees know, afraid we are talked about a no-no."

The god just shrugged his head. When they were already on the plane, Dewa remembered his idea to have Deva buy a house by way of KPR or credit in the company.

"Dev, why don't you take the house. I have taught you. I must be ACC filing your credit. If Loan's in the flower company less."

"But my limit is not much, sir. At best you can just buy the tile," replied Deva, deliberately not answering seriously.

"I believe in you, Dev. I'll help you as much as I can. Your comfort is important. Not because I care about you personally. But, if you have no problems, your work will definitely be more maximal. You are quite reliable in every tender. I appreciate you professionally. It's not about personal interest at all. You got it, right? Don't Geer, please."

Deva doesn't know what to answer. They were seated in a row of seats with three passengers. It feels that if you argue for a long time, he is afraid that he will disturb the comfort of one passenger to another. In addition to silence, a thin smile becomes a Deva weapon to end their conversation before the plane takes off.

****

Setting foot back in Jakarta, Deva felt an incredible relief. For some reason, since talking to Dave last night, he's been feeling so calm. Dave's non-rigid attitude, makes him feel more like something missing from him has returned. Whether they can be friends or not, at least, they do not try to forget by being hostile to each other.

"We stopped by the mosque first huh, Dev. It's dhuhur," said Dewa.

"Yes, Sir. I'm just parked," said Deva with her head bowed.

"Owh, you're a hitch. Then I pray at the mosque near the parking lot. You wait in the car." The god handed over the keys to the car he had left parked at the airport since they left.

The two are separated in the parking lot B3, Dewa to Mushola, while Deva to the parking lot C4 who still have to pass one crossing again. Approaching God's car, Deva's footsteps came to a standstill as soon as he saw the figure of the man he knew coming out of the car parked next to God's car. The man was with a woman he also knew. Both seem to be in a hurry.

Deva rushed to hide behind a car not far from him. From the gelagat both people, it is clear that their existence is not wanted to be known by others. Despite the rush, the affection described through the tight grip of the hands between the two, is undeniable.

"Father Agas, Miss Nina. Why are they so close?" inner Deva.
