"Bang Dave," Deva replied to the former's greeting softly.
So long the heart tries to be ordinary, in fact when faced directly still the feeling of not being able to deny. Whether it is a memory that is difficult to replace with other memories, or all the good that is reluctant to be forgotten.
"Just the two of you?" Dave asked as he muffled his turbulent heart unsatisfactory.
"Yes... Bang Dave himself?"
"With some nurses and doctor friends. Farewell party small." Dave gave an intense look at Deva.
"Oh. Please continue, Bang." Deva hurriedly turned around. Hiding his cheeks that began to glow red due to Dave's gaze.
"I'll move to the area, Bee."
One sentence that seemed to have been spoken by Dave with a purpose, undo Deva's intention to step towards the table he ordered. The woman turned around and ventured to drop her vision on the figure who had not yet moved from her heart.
"I just want to find a new atmosphere. Trying to make new memories to forget past memories. Sounds easy, I don't know what the reality will be like. Take good care of yourself, Dev. The good male gods. Hope you guys---,"
"We have nothing to do." The words of rebuttal slid swiftly from Deva's lips. Cut out Dave's unfinished sentence.
Unwittingly by Dave and Deva, a pair of eyes noticed the interaction of the two a moment ago. The figure continued to entertain himself. Trying to stay determined on what is planned.
"Maybe it's time we let go of what we cannot have. That sincerity does not come by itself. It takes being forced to get used to it. Knowing you and loving you, I never regret it. But, we must know the boundary between hope and dreams. Maybe you're meant to be just my dream, Bee. Which I'll only meet in deep sleep"
Among the crowds and down and forth of other restaurant visitors, Dave's voice that is not at all loud let alone loud, still clearly heard in Deva's ears. Suddenly the woman's heart felt sick. Dave's words seemed to affirm their separation.
Realizing that Deva was beginning to lose his clumsiness, the God immediately approached two former people who were drifting away at one deepest feeling. God became the third person between the two.
"You want to keep standing here?" ask the gods to Deva. Made as calm and as quiet as possible.
Dave smiled thinly. As a fellow man, he knew for sure what the Gods were doing right now was to make Deva not get carried away feeling further and further away.
"I go first" said Deva. Hurriedly leaving God and Dave.
The two men looked at each other. The condition of the crowded restaurant seemed to have no effect. The farewell event in the VVIP room that will start has not yet tempted Dave to go back in there.
"Hopefully Deva can accept you, Wa. One day, he will give his heart to you. I'm waiting for an invitation from you." Dave hurried away after saying that.
The god took a deep breath. What he had arranged from morning was a little broken. "No, I can't give up. How about it, I don't care. I have to prove that I'm not a loser" he said in his heart.
The man approached the table where Deva was. Not much different from Gods, Deva also looks restless. Dave's words that say moving out of town continue to ring. Tanya crossed Deva's head. Do I have to stay away to forget? How can you disguise your taste with distance? While the core of everything is in your own heart and mind.
"As usual. "
The god scrunched his forehead a sign of astonishment. Deva's answer clearly made him fail to understand. Only the first time he and Deva set foot in the restaurant, clearly Dewa did not know what menu was a favorite of women who sat opposite it.
Noticing the God of confusion, Deva immediately picked up the menu book in front of him. He mentioned a food and drink that he always ordered when he came with Dave. God chose the same menu to shorten the time.
Some time waiting for the order to arrive. Deva and Dewa compactly fell silent to each other. Both are busy with their own thoughts. Deva lowered her head while playing a ribbon strap that adorned the hip of the dress she was wearing.
"What do you want to say?" Deva asked without looking at the face of the God.
"Hmm, after we eat. If I'm hungry, I can't think" God said. His voice really started to shake. In his heart, the man lamented his weakness. Facing even the most difficult client did not make it tremble. It used to be with Deborah, nor is it this weak. Really tonight God feels at the strangest level of his life.
After hearing the God's reply, Deva no longer let out her voice. Occasionally the woman's eyes glanced at the tightly closed VVIP room. Of course there was nothing he could see there.
The presence of the servant who delivered the order broke the silence between God and Deva. Without waiting for long, the two of them immediately devoured the food and drink in front of each of them.
"After my relationship with Deborah ended, I never expected to have another serious relationship with a woman. I feel like I'm not ready and I don't really like to commit." The god began his conversation in between dinner which still leaves half a portion on his plate.
Deva glared at the Deity at a glance as he continued to chew on the food that still filled his mouth. Not the slightest intention of chiming in because it waited for the God to finish issuing what he wanted to say.
"Until one moment, I realized, it can't be like this forever. God told adam to pair with Eve. And so does his offspring. To love and be loved is not just an option for us. In fact, that feeling is a need. To make our lives more purposeful."
This time Deva reacted by putting a spoon on the plate. His gaze was sharper towards the Gods. The man's words made Deva interested to more intense listening. The gods themselves continued to eat quickly. Ignoring Deva who was impatiently waiting for further sentences to come out of his mouth.
After finishing the food, the god sipped a glass of carrot juice mixed with tomatoes to the toilet. After a little pause, he continued what he wanted to say to Deva.
"I can't put together beautiful words. My attitude is far from sweet for a woman. I might even be impressed by Don Juan. In fact, I find it hard to fall in love, Dev. What else to say love, obviously I can't."
Deva gulped down a small bottle of mineral water until it consumed half of its contents. He did not know where the God's talk was going this time.
"Knowing you these few months, it felt like it brought a lot of changes in my life. At first, I felt a little challenged by your attitude of never seeing me the same way other women look at me." The god smiled faintly at the end of the sentence.
Deva was silent. Wait patiently until the gods arrive at the end of the story. Indeed, Deva is not too focused because he still feels the air of Dave's existence in the same place.
"Dev, at our current age. Especially me, relationships just dating and having fun it feels no longer appropriate. I. um...." The gods were hesitant.
"Yes, Sir... Father why?" Deva asked innocently.
God reached into his pants pocket. Then put a blue saphire square box on the table. The man took a deep breath before saying, "Dev.... "
