The god did not answer his cousin's question which was none other than Dira. The man was still staring anxiously at the two lovebirds who were now seen hugging each other. As if it was exchanging its remaining flavor, the hug was so tight.
"Sister..do you know them?" Dira repeated his question once more. This time impatiently.
"The girl is the brother's personal assistant." The god replied in a annoyed tone. "Oh... Yeah, where's your fiance? He said he wanted to know?" The gods try to shift their focus. What Deva did tonight, obviously, had nothing to do with the company. Moreover, the event tonight does not include a mandatory series. There was no reason for him to rebuke Deva.
"My engagement is with my brother's personal assistant." Dira pointed at the two people who were now sitting on their backs.
"You mean your fiancee she is? And you just shut up to see your fiance cheating like that?" The gods began to stir up emotions.
Like an older brother who does not accept when his younger sister is treated arbitrarily. The god rushed to widen the steps toward two figures who from yesterday was enough to play with his emotions. This time, he would not remain silent. He did not want his beloved cousin to get hurt because of what he thought was very lowly.
"Sir God, don't. Sis... Don't." Don't." Dira tries to chase after the steps of the Gods. But the sand that is stepped on, really makes it difficult to walk faster.
"Dare you play my sister, huh? You wimps!" Without waiting for an explanation, God immediately pulled the back of the shirt worn by Dave to make the body of the man strayed back.
"Sir God, stop! Already!" please Dira.
"Stop being stupid out of love, Dira. Open your eyes wide. A man like this does not deserve you. Those who are traitors of love, do not deserve honor." The god stared cynically at Dave and Deva alternately.
Deva immediately stood up, she returned the gaze of the Gods boldly. There is absolutely no fear, shame, or condolence like God's hope when someone is caught cheating.
"Explain to him, Dir. Who made me a traitor. And tell me who exactly is being betrayed? Don't act like you're the worst." Dave's gaze and speech were equally cynical to Dira.
"Brengjeong.... " The god immediately threw a punch right at Dave's right jaw.
The man who was completely unprepared to receive the attack was slightly staggered. Deva and Dira reflexively want to help Dave. Realizing that her status was nobody else, Deva undoes her intentions. He's backtracking. While Dira who had reached out to Dave, was brushed aside violently by the man.
The god was intending to get back to Dave, his hands already clenched and preparing to float in the air. The look in his eyes really implied anger. The hatred that had been in his damper would be the figure of Dave who dared to challenge him, as if getting a way to be vented.
"Sister, please, enough!" shout Dira. His hand held the hand of the God firmly.
Without a word, Deva intended to leave behind a commotion that she had never imagined before. Dave deliberately lets Deva go, he doesn't want Deva to get involved too far.
Deva stopped her steps, then turned around. Stare one by one-Dave, Dira, and the Gods in turn. His heart had already been broken and wept, now he was just affirming himself to accept the insults, which he himself felt were too much aimed at him.
"You only know my name and know my performance Mr. God. What you said just now, I don't deny - nor do I want to justify. Those of you who don't like me will continue to look at me badly no matter what I do. If at any time you already know the true story, there is no need to apologize. I assume, those words, were not meant for me, "Deva said them very clearly and firmly. Then he walked back without looking again.
Dira chased after Deva, while mentioning the name of the woman he always considered the rival. Deva stopped her steps again.
"Dev, I need to talk to you alone. But not now. I hope you don't mind. You have time tomorrow, right? I have photoshoots around here, whenever you can, please let me know," Dira softened her voice, slightly hoping that Deva would agree to her request.
"Tomorrow at three in the afternoon I'm free, please come if you think it's important." Deva continued her steps.
Dira shook his eyes at Deva's back which was getting away from him. Dave accidentally hit the shoulder of the God who was also staring at Deva's departure.
"You can hate me and attack me all you want. But let's not once again call Deva a cheap woman. No matter who you are, breaking your neck I will not hesitate," Dave said appropriately intended for the Gods. Then he walked closer to Dira.
"Explain to your brother right now. I'll wait for you at the restaurant. Humiliating Deva in front of everyone, will not make you look precious in my eyes. You know exactly, what happened tonight, is one of the risks you have to accept. We start the relationship incorrectly, do not dream too high to get all your desires with a pleasant ending. My parents can force me to marry you, but they can't determine whose heart I'll give to whom."
Throw it's been Dira's kink. He dropped down until his knees felt the roughness of the sand. The crying broke out. God swore in the heart. Being in the position that it is now, is not at all expected. Gods could never see women crying, let alone those closest to them.
The man moved his feet towards Dira. He equaled his cousin's position by sitting in the sand. The god regulated his breathing which was holding back the overflow of emotions. Suddenly there was such great disappointment in Deva.
"Leave your fiancee, Dir. I can introduce you to my friends who are definitely better than him" said Dewa.
Dira shook weakly. "No, Brother. Dave is the best. Maybe we just need some time. Dave is very loving. And he's very loyal."
"Faithful? She kisses another woman you say loyal? The Dira! Open your eyes wide. I saw your fiancee and Deva not just this once. Even they once made the streets jammed because of their quarrels. Don't be like a woman who has no self-respect, Dira. They can stomp you worse if you're weak." The gods stand up. The upset had already erupted, thinking that Dira's logic was no longer working.
"The reality is not like that, brother. It's not Deva and Dave's fault that they're hard to forget. All's fault. I forced my mom and dad to marry me to Dave."
Dira's explanation made the Gods even more clueless. "What do you mean, Dir?"
