Disappointment of Dave

"You don't know who your father is, Dave. It's not that easy to oppose your papa. Mama also just realized, it's been decades mama lived with a cruel man." Fira squeezed the top of her nightgown. Waving off the frustration that appeared once he remembered Agas's figure intact.

"If you don't have the power to resist, you should at least fortify yourself. It's free for my mom to judge me like that. In fact, my mom did nothing and let papa's cruelty go away" Dave said.

Fira remained silent. The woman ventured to raise her face to return Dave's intense eyes.

"Once again Dave said, if indeed mama hopes Dave can protect mama. Please ... Mama is honest with Dave. Ignore your own reputation, prestige, and negative thoughts. Indeed, the one who is most capable of destroying us-is ourselves." Dave took his mom back to sit on the couch.

"Don't let your papa find your mom's whereabouts. Your father's emotions are very unstable. Mama is afraid, she could be desperate to physically hurt my mother," Pinta Fira.

"For a while, this house is the safest place for mama. But according to Dave, we shouldn't run and hide from problems for too long. Mama has to face papa. I like not wanting to. No matter how disappointed you are now, you were once in a position to love and admire me." Dave said in a clear and firm voice.

"Mama left home because she couldn't stand your father's affair. In addition, mama wants to find out, who is the woman who is able to give such a big influence on your papa. Instead of getting better, the more you come here, your papa is getting more dominant and undeniable. Mama sure, your father's affair with whoever the woman is, in contrast to other women who are usually just invited to have fun."

Hearing Fira's words, Dave took a deep breath and shook his head so strongly. Seeming so harmonious in front of people, it was in fact just a long stifling charade. Dave looked back at his mother. His response was stretched to hold the woman he called his mother.

"Why did you waste your time, energy and thought just to find out who she was? When you meet, what does Mom want? Hit it? Clashing mouths? Or physically attack? Enough, Ma! If mama really wants to leave papa, overcome her curiosity that is not important. And if you still want to improve your relationship, you should think positively. If that woman is able to exert her influence on papa, why can't you?" timpal Dave at length.

Of course Fira has no intention of chiming in on Dave's remarks. He was digesting word by word that came out of the mouth of his adopted son. Dave's thinking is not wrong. Why humble yourself in front of women who are already in contact with Agas? Fira is not an option. Nor is it just a complement to the status in the family. Enough he had been a puppet to Agas all along.

"Ma, mama hasn't answered Dave's question. Is papa involved with the Papa Amar case?" Dave again reminded the question that Fira did not really want to answer.

"They've been friends for so long, Dave. How close your father and Papa Deva are, you know. Dave ... If you're honest, will you promise not to hate you?" Fira looked at Dave expectantly.

"Why should Dave promise something uncertain? Obviously Dave wouldn't be willing. Now it's up to you, but if one day Dave finds out the truth from someone else, don't blame it if the respect and affection that Dave has been guarding and prioritizing, will be destroyed in exchange for disappointment." Dave let go of his hand on Fira.

"It's not that you can't be honest, Dave. It's just, mama's afraid of being wrong. Besides, mama doesn't hold any evidence."

"Mama doesn't have to prove anything. Just answer Dave's question briefly. Yes or no? Quite like that, the evidence problem, let Dave find out."

Before replying, Fira set her tone first. "Bismillah, may I not misstep O God. Maybe it's time we reap what we've sown, "he said.

The woman over middle-aged nodded her head slowly. "Your father's involved, Dave. Not even just involved. Whoever the actual screenwriter-the role of your papa in that case is very important."

The short sentence that Fira threw in response, instantly made Dave stand up. The man squeezed his hair violently. How much disappointment was present in his mind now, could no longer be rooted.

"Can I lift my face in front of you? Now I'm really embarrassed, Dev," murmured Dave, so softly. It was as if Deva was in front of him.

Fira stood up as well. The woman tried to touch Dave's arm with some hesitation. However, Dave hurriedly rewinded his steps. Ignoring Fira's hand that was still hanging in the air because of what was about to be done earlier, was rejected outright by Dave.

While Dave is being hit hard with a little fact he just heard, Deva also feels more or less the same feeling as Dave. However, the woman chose to remain silent on the edge of the pool in the backyard of the house of God. His eyes looked far away like a dreamy person.

Actually Deva is not daydreaming. He was just trying to get his brain to think harder. The determination to restore the good name of his father grew stronger. Only, Deva was still confused where to start. The court is not that easy to reopen a case. Especially just because there was someone who came to complain with the recording evidence. Plus, the case was already a verdict a few years ago. The accused guilty has also died.

"Dev, tonight, get Dave here. We're talking about three of these. Faster is better, but we must not be rash. The steps we take, must be really mature," said Dewa, appeared suddenly and immediately sat beside Deva to make the woman finish her busy with her own mind.

"Aren't you going back to Singapore?" Deva returned the gaze of the God so gently.

"I'm general check-up here only. Same with the result. No problem." The gods changed his plans in an instant. Ignoring airline tickets and also the payment of a completed thorough inspection fee is paid.

"Father got bothered because of me" said Deva.

The god patted Deva's shoulder while giving a dazzling smile. "I don't bother at all. I just want you to focus on working. Show me your achievements! Someday, you will be able to level up. With your abilities, it's not impossible for you to occupy one of the directors' positions."

Deva replied to the words of the God with a smile. Then he turned his gaze back to the side of the pool. "Do you have a lawyer acquaintance who used to handle cases like this?" tanyakanya.

"I've thought about that, Dev. Just leave it all to me." The god lowered his hand from Deva's shoulder.

Deva and God were both silent. Both of their legs are deliberately put into the water, compact moved slowly to cause ripples that disturb the calm of the pool water.

"Until this point, do you still believe in true love?" The question of the God managed to make Deva again drop her gaze on the figure of the man beside her.

For a moment, the two exchanged looks. But unfortunately, it turns out that God can not linger, the man chose to turn his face to the vertical side of the garden that stretches along the right side of the pool.

On the other hand, Dira who had just entered her apartment looked careless. After arriving at the hospital where her mother will be treated intensively, the woman was deliberately asked permission to her father to go home to see Dave first.

"Where are you, Dave. Lest as long as I'm not around, you meet your ex-junk constantly. You must be in a relationship behind my back." Dira is leaving Dave's apartment. He took a taxi back to the house of the Gods.

Only a little more than thirty minutes later, Dira arrived at his cousin's house. Impatiently, Dave's wife forced him down from the taxi and walked a little stomping feet towards the main door. Dira pressed the doorbell many times. Affirming that he is at the top of the eternal.

As soon as one of the housekeepers opened the door for her, Dira asked tightly. "Where is Deva? Is he not home either?"

"Mbak Deva is in the pool, Ma'am." The forty-year-old woman replied with her head lowered.

Without waiting for a long time, Dira immediately approached Deva. Seeing the woman he was looking for seemed to be chatting with his cousin. Makes Dira even more upset. And ....
