Residual Flavour
Gatas Slap

Agas shouted for the housekeeper while opening the door of his room violently. The man is unaware of Dave's whereabouts. Though his son, was leaning against the wall of the second-floor family room opposite Agas and Fira's room.

"Why should you scream, Pa?" dave asked, still with a very awake courtesy.

"Where did your mom go?" Agas answered Dave's question with a different one.

"Mama? Why did you ask Dave? Dave's day of practice. It's just that Dave came here to see mom and dad to say goodbye." Dave wasn't lying.

Agas looked at Dave with a probing look. Instead of trepidation, Dave returned the gaze of the papa no less brave. The man who works as an obstetrician, increasingly feel the anger and annoyance Agas so real seen through the eyes of his adoptive father.

"What's going on, Pa?" ask Dave.

"Don't interfere in the affairs of your parents, Dave. take care of your own household," Agas snapped while looking away at the other side.

"If there are boundaries between us, why didn't Papa let Dave live alone from the beginning? It would be better if we didn't interfere in each other's affairs." Dave said it very clearly.

"How dare you oppose papa, Dave? From you red baby papa pick you up from the orphanage. You can be as successful now - if not for Papa, because who?"

"If Dave could choose. It's better for Dave to be a vagabond than to live like he is now. Determining your own soul mate Dave is not in power. What is the use of abundance, but poor conscience. Dave used to be proud to be a father's son, but after Dave's wedding, that pride was gone. Real men do not run away and avoid mistakes. But what did papa do? Papa's even swapping Dave's happiness for Papa's freedom."

Hearing Dave's words at length and getting bolder, making Agas' emotions that had been burning, now seemed to get an outlet. With one swing of the hand that was quite steady, Agas' hand lightly slapped Dave's cheek so hard.

"Thank you, Pa. Thank you for reminding me of Dave's true position in this family. Maybe Dave can't count and return all the good you and mom gave me. If money can be counted, certainly not with the affection and sincerity that Dave has always felt." Dave rubbed his cheek that felt sore and hot due to the strong slap that was thrown by his papa.

Agas clenched both his hands tightly. The man then struck the door of his room very brutally. Unmindful of the eight books of his fingers that instantly suffered blisters, flushed and excruciating pain. What happened today is so overwhelming and coming out of control.

Nina-there were absolutely no bad thoughts about the woman before. But reality speaks another. After what Agas sacrificed, all he got was betrayal, and what did he not fight for Nina? Betraying Amar and Fira, marrying Dave to Dira and other small things.

Maybe it is true, the wise man said. The traitor always has the best place on the other side of the traitor. And the good will slowly be kept away from those who betray.

Dave left Agas standing unmoved in such a chaotic state. The hair was disheveled, the face was tangled, the shirt he was wearing was already partially out from inside his pants. If the late Amar had seen the current state of his friend, perhaps the father of Deva would have said, "This is not how much, Agas. See me? How should I feel the stuffy life of prison for a mistake I didn't make at all."

Imagining Amar laughing at him, made Agas' mind even more confused. The man shouted indistinctly. Dave had to close both ears, because the swearing of Agas sounded very dirty. Only now did Dave see the figure of his father as troubled as this. Of course, it makes her curiosity grow. All this time, what Fira and Agas displayed in front of him was romance and perfect life that was also displayed to others. Both of them are very caring and love Dave like their own children. But for Dave, everything changes in an instant after his match with Dira.

While many people are in a state of death, not so with Gods and Devas. After a chat and a warm joke at the restaurant, their togetherness still continues on the way home to Deswita's house. Though the time is almost showing at nine o'clock at night, but God even more slow the pace of his car. In addition to wanting to linger together, his eyes also returned out of focus. Being hit by the headlights of the car passing from the opposite direction, making his eyes even more tired.

"Sir God is sleepy? Here let me just drive," pleaded Deva so aware of the God several times blinked his eyes.

"In a moment, I pull over first. Sleepy actually does not. I don't know why my eyes lately like to often blur see something. I think I should see the show on television. If there's a chest that looks a little bit, directly on the sensor." The gods are still joking.

"Basar mesyum. Maybe you're trying to retire your eyes," ledek Deva.

"Just boy. I'm serious Dev."

"I'm drugged, sir." Deva opened her car door carefully to get out and exchange positions with the Gods.

"Dev, didn't you ask me why I got to the extension in Singapore?" The god asked because he had just remembered. As far as he worked with secretaries or personal assistants, they must have at least been stale to ask about his interests and everything that concerned him. This is usually done in case someone else asks.

The new Deva sat behind the wheel and wore a seat belt, giving a smile to the Gods. "I don't dare. I remember our limits, sir. If you don't tell me or tell me, it's personal. Certainly not my domain to interfere."

The god swallowed his saliva with great difficulty. So hard Deva keeps herself from mixing personal problems with work problems.

"Now I tell the story. I trust you, and I'm sure you can keep whatever happens to me and my mom so far. Dev, as long as I'm in Singapore, you stay home first, yeah. Go with mom first. Wherever you go, just use my car. If you ask, just say my job is a bit long this time," Pinta Dewa.

"Yes, Sir. I'll tell you." Deva answered with a focused look to the road. He did not look at the gods at all.

"Thank you, Dev. I want general check-ups."

"May you be healthy always" Deva said quickly.

The god threw such a dazzling smile and rarely showed it to others. What the man did was obviously in vain. Deva certainly can not see it because it is still focused on the road that has approached the residential area.

Passing through the building of his old house, Deva slowed down the speed of the God car he drove. The woman invites her sense of sight to focus more on something there. Deva had a car that stopped right in front of the gate of the house.

"What's up, Dev?" ask God.
