God and Deswita

Deswita frowned until both ends of the eyebrows that resembled the brand of a famous shoe were fused perfectly. "Why should it be so complicated, Nyil. You advanced yourself why? Yes if you want to nolong, yes nolong aja. Why be a troubled mom."

"Don't be hard, Ma. It's not for the gods, you know. At least, Mama's got a bedmate the next few days. How, Ma? Wants, right? I'll cook nolak."

Deswita seemed to be thinking while giving a probing look to the Gods. "Are you in love, Nyil? You've never been this concerned with women. If it is true that you are in love. Means Mama should know Deva further."

"No! Mama, what the hell is that talking? God may fall in love with Deva. Noddy. Mama don't make slanders. Later if he hears, he might be more arrogant. Deva is not a god. Not at all. Beautiful, but boring. The point is, it's impossible" God. A little nervous and did not dare to return Deswita's gaze.

"Mama hold your word, Nyil. If the reverse happens, risk your own responsibility."

The god raised his two thumbs casually. Then he stood up to see Deva had already come or not. The break is still thirty minutes away. The 36th floor is like without occupants. There were only Dewa and Deswita, as well as the finance director and four staff who were busy preparing data for external audits.

What was wanted was not in his room. Remembering what happened a moment ago. It raises concerns in the mind of the gods. Clearly Deva had left the office in a state that was not okay.

"Deva's here yet?" deswita asked as soon as the God came back into the room.

"Yet, Ma. It's because of Dira. Does Om and Aunt have nothing to say about Dira's marriage? How could they allow their only child to marry in this way? A marriage that begins with love ends in disarray. Especially starting with coercion," snorted the God.

"Mama never knew their business, Nyil. Mama's people knew that Dira wanted to get married just now. What is the candidate? Why would Dira be crazy like that?" Deswita asked the god again.

"It must be a God. He is so cute on standard. That's why it fits Deva. He should have been lucky to get Dira. Uh, even a little wasted."

Deswita pinched the God's arm rather violently. "If according to mama, Dira is lucky. We both know how Dira was. Even though we're brothers, we can't close our eyes."

"Ah, yes ... by the way about it first, Mama knows not what happened with Dira a few years ago. What happened that made Dira change completely? Kok Dira is confident that Dave is part of his past. While if you look at Dave's attitude, he's ordinary. Is it because he doesn't recognize Dira?" The god invited his mother to discuss.

"Just ask your mom, Nyil. A few years ago, my mother was where you remember too, right? being able to live this normal life, my mother is very grateful. If you remember the past, Mama is ashamed of you, Nyil." Deswita's gaze suddenly sad.

"Stop! Don't keep going, Ma. The gods will not leave mom for anything. We will never be apart. God will keep and make Mama happy as much as God can." The man crouched down in front of Deswita. Grasping both hands of the woman so tightly.

"But you still have to ni--,"

"No! Marriage is not a God's priority." The god cut Deswita's words quickly.

On the other hand, Deva was sitting pensively in the park not far from his office building. Since then, the woman has been silent there. Not a single piece of food entered his mouth. Deva felt no hunger at all. Even the scorching heat of the sun, was simply ignored. The sweat had soaked his forehead and dripped his cheeks reddish like tomatoes due to the heat. However, in the slightest there is no intention of Deva to move immediately. He was just intending to return to the office after the break time was nearing its end.

"Why not come?" asked from a familiar voice in Deva's ear, making the woman turn to the source of the voice quickly.

"Bang Dave, why are you here? What's Brother's body?" Deva got up to make sure Dave was.

"I'm going to your office. But when the taxi I was riding my daughter back, I saw you sitting alone. That's why I'm just down here" Dave explained.

"Abang just healed, don't heat up like this." Deva involuntarily pulled Dave's hand away from the bench where he was sitting earlier. Deva invites Dave to approach the shady old tree at the entrance of the park.

"Thank you for still caring about me, Bee."

Deva just threw a faint smile. It feels like he congratulated Dave-Dira's accelerated wedding plans. But his lips had no power to say. And so is Dave. He who did not want to until Deva heard the news of his marriage from the mouths of others, it also did not feel like saying it directly.

The two of them cast a look at each other and also a meaningful smile. Just like that, it feels very deep for Dave and Deva.

"You must be happy, Bang," said Deva.

"You too, Bee. Don't keep your own burden. I'll feel more guilty if you live a hard life." Dave reached into his pants pocket, took something in there.

"This is the key to Nirwana's apartment. Not far from here, is it? You can occupy it as long as you have not found a place that suits your own choices. I didn't give you free. You just pay me by cooking fried rice every morning for the week" Dave pinta while giving Deva the keys.

"I can't accept this, Bang. I have to get used to not relying on you. I'm just alone anyway. There's nothing I should bring. Everything can be much simpler." Deva refuses by holding the key back into Dave's hand.

"Don't say that, Bee. I won't forget you just like that. Remember, Bee. There is one promise you have made. That promise can't just be dropped. Because I left you not because I betrayed you."

Deva swallowed his saliva with great difficulty. He remembered the promise he had made to Dave in the scriptures.
