Screamnights
the ghost and his absurd life part 1

“You will stay at this house.” Pocong 1 takes Alena to a small cottage inside the Durawa cemetery. After separating from other ghosts, now only Pocong 1 looks a little responsible and wants to drive Alena.

“Whose cottage is it?” Alena looked around the interior of the cottage which consisted of only one room measuring 5x6 meters in which there was a small bathroom, which was a small bathroom, a bed with a small kitchen complete with a refrigerator and some cookware inside.

“This is the cottage that durawapati use when tired of guarding. But durawapati us who now is a diligent durawapati and rarely come here unless he is really tired. During our three years of work, we have only been here a few times to clean this room. Said durawapati, you can use this little cottage while living here.” Pocong 1 gives an explanation while jumping up and down while showing parts of the cottage with a size of 5x6 meters. Several times ... Pocong 1 wanted to show that the furniture inside the cottage was always clean. But considering that Pocong 1's hand was in a tied shroud, then in a few times Pocong 1 undoes his intention.

“Thank you very much.” The thanks from Alena made Pocong 1 a little surprised when he heard it.

“A long time ago I heard no word other than durawapati us the new.”

Hearing the word durawapati coming out of Pocong 1's mouth, Alena then remembered something that made her a little curious. Alena then asked Pocong 1 a few questions. “Can I ask, Po-pocong 1?”

            “Ya.”

“Why don't you call Sadewa by his name and call him durawapati?”

Pocong 1 looked towards Alena with a small smile on her face. For a moment ... Alena felt her body shudder at the smile as the small smile felt terrifying in Alena's eyes.

“Because it is easier to say durawapati than to mention their names. You may not know, but there are some ghosts here that are over hundreds of years old and live for generations. The ghosts saw that durawapati kept changing and finally decided to call the existing durawapati with the name durawapati. That way ... we will not have trouble when durawapati change.”

Alena nodded her head trying to understand the explanation of Pocong 1. Alena had never thought about this before because Alena had never thought about the ages of ghosts that could be so long that they could be seen in several lifetimes of several generations of humans.

“Are there any more questions?” Pocong 1 asked Alena who suddenly fell silent as she was thinking.

“Ah .. This about Kunti 1 and Kunti 2. Do they both like Sadewa? I feel like they're both trying to look cute in front of Sadewa.”

Pocong 1 smiled again and again .. The smile made Alena shudder as she was still unfamiliar with her new life. From today .. I have to get used to seeing that smile.

“Who does not like durawapati now??” Pocong 1 opened his mouth to speak and answered Alena's question.

“Why is that?” Alena frowned. “What because of his handsome face?”

“It also includes. But ... compared to the previous durawapati, durawapati who now slightly humanizes us even though we are dead and can no longer be called human. Pocong 1, Kunti 1 and other ghost names are the names given by the present durawapati. Durawapati is now more familiar to us and often. And one more important, thanks to the durawapati now .. some ghosts are no longer running.”

            “Means?” Alena did not understand.

“Some of us held because we still had unfinished wishes while still alive. Durawapati who now helps some of us and makes them finally calm in the grave, no longer wandering. Unfortunately ... some of this time, durawapati really busy because some humans who always come here without permission.”

Alena then remembered the story that had been told by Sadewa. “What happens often? Humans come in here without permission?”

“There are several tombs here which are the old tombs of the first owners of this tomb.  Some tombs are believed by you humans, storing some treasures and sacred heirlooms. Some humans came here to find these objects and some other humans believed that by coming here they could find a way to gain wealth.”

Alena understood the meaning of Pocong 1. In some of his experiences coming to various mystical and horror places, some people did come with the intention of finding a quick way to gain wealth. The same thing happened at Durawa's funeral.

“Is it true, possessions, heirlooms and the intention of finding wealth is indeed here?” Alena tried asking.

Once again, Pocong 1 put a smile on his face and this time the smile was more terrifying than any smile Alena had ever seen before. Alena shuddered at that smile and for a moment felt that Alena had wrongly asked.

“You really want to know about it, a human named Alena?” Pocong 1 turned to ask Alena.

Sontak ... Alena immediately shook her head hearing the question. “Not so. I don't need any of that. My job is now more than enough to finance my life.”

Pocong 1 changed her smile and now that smile was much more human in Alena's eyes. “Don't ever ask us that again. Such a question is a dangerous question if you ask the wrong ghost. That one question can change your life and there's no turning back when you've made your decision.”

Alena nodded her head understanding the mistake she had almost made.

“Kyaaaaaahh!!!!”

Just a day after Sadewa left Alena with the ghosts at Durawa's funeral, Sadewa now hears a terrified cry from Alena. Sontak ... Sadewa took a big step and ran as hard as she could to get to Alena. Coincidental or not, but this time ... Sadewa carries his baseball bat, which he usually carries while standing guard at Durawa's funeral.

“Kyaaaaaaahhh!!! Help me!!! Anyone help me!”

Sadewa sped up his footsteps and forced his legs to run even faster. Huff ... huft ... Sadewa's breath began to sting because of running around in the cemetery area and several times had to rotate because it could not jump over the tombs.

“Akhhhhh! Help me!!”

The shout was heard again and sure enough when Sadewa arrived at the location of the source of the yelling sound, Sadewa saw Alena yelling while circling several tombs because of the actions of Pocong 3 and Pocong 4. From where he stood, Sadewa saw Pocong 3 and Pocong 4 who were putting on their bad faces, jumping up and down chasing Alena and scaring her. Sadewa wants to laugh at this, but Sadewa imagines himself in the position of Alena who is not used to seeing creatures that most humans should not be able to see.

“You're acting again??” Sadewa shouted while running and swinging a baseball bat that he usually carried while on guard as durawapati.

Seeing Sadewa running while swinging a baseball bat in his hand, Pocong 3 and Pocong 4 jumped up and down in fear and tried to get away from Sadewa.
