Screamnights
unfulfilled desire: pocong 1 part 6

Sadewa's power recovery was much longer than Alena expected along with all the ghosts who saw how Sadewa collapsed after making it out of the genderuwo nest. Sadewa slept for a long time and maybe a few days, Alena could not count it exactly because there was only a night when trapped in Durawa cemetery. That's the first thing Alena realized when she was trapped in Durawa's cemetery: there was only a night when she was trapped in Durawa's cemetery. And Alena doesn't know why there's only a night at Durawa's funeral.

“Arrgh!” Sadewa groaned lightly when she opened her eyes after a few days' rest and just fell asleep.

“Thank God!!! You finally woke up too, Sadewa!! If you don't wake up today, I'm going to meet Grandpa to ask him for help!” Alena immediately helped Sadewa who was trying to rise from a sleeping position to sit down.

Sadewa held his forehead and massaged it. “Hearing your long words it seems like I slept for a long time, Ehm ... how long did I sleep?”

“Probably three, maybe also four days. I can't count it because there's only night here. Time calculation I usually count with your arrival.” Alena replied while scratching her head due to her doubt.

“Huft.” Sadewa sighed while massaging her forehead. “That problem later let me make sure myself when I get out of Durawa cemetery. What about Pocong 1? Has he left?”

Alena shook her head. “Not yet, Pocong 1 is waiting for you to get up to go. He wants you to take off the pocong rope himself.”

“Then what about the wishes of Pocong 1? What was the reason that got him stuck at Durawa's funeral?”

Alena then gives a brief explanation for Sadewa's question. Starting from the story of the elder genderuwo, the voice of the ball belongs to the elder genderuwo who spoke to Alena, who, the heartwarming encounter that Sadewa misses and Pocong 1's little story about his life before death comes up to his reasons for choosing to survive being trapped in Durawa's cemetery.

Sadewa listens to the story intently and when part of the heartwarming moment between Pocong 1 and her lover happens, the, Sadewa shed her tears several times as she felt moved and happy for Pocong 1.

“Now ... since you're conscious, Pocong 1 is waiting for you outside to untie his pocong rope and part with us.”

Sadewa gathered the energy in his body that was still not collected perfectly. After taking a few breaths and exhaling, Sadewa got up from her seat assisted by Alena, walked out of the hut and met Pocong 1 who was standing waiting in front of the hut.

“You look fine after releasing a lot of energy, durawapati.” Pocong 1 greeted Sadewa while slightly bowing his head towards Sadewa.

“You also look fine, Pocong 1.”

Pocong 1 raised his head and put a smile on his lips. The smile stunned Alena as the smile on Pocong 1's lips no longer looked terrible. The dark and hideous face of Pocong 1 that made Alena feel afraid and had to get used to the feeling of fear, now disappeared.

“Yes, durawapati. Thanks to Alena and you, I look fine. Now that my wait is over, I have met my beloved again and now is the time of farewell for me with you.”

Sadewa put a smile on her face. “Your love is gone first? You haven't even introduced her to me yet, Pocong 1.”

“Hehe.” Pocong 1 chuckled at Sadewa's words. “She's gone first and I'm grateful for that.”

            “Why?”

“I'm afraid if he meets you, durawapati, he will end up falling for you like the ghosts of the women in this cemetery, durawapati.”

Alena chuckled at Pocong 1's words while nodding her head. Thas right. Worries are not wrong! As a man even a male ghost, Pocong 1 also felt worried about the beautiful face of Sadewa which made many female ghosts crazy about him.  Alena then imagined something in her mind as she glanced towards Sadewa and her beautiful face. What would happen if I took this man into town and made him walk the streets of the city? Are the women going to stare at him and not take their eyes off him? I was curious about it.

“Hahaha.” Sadewa laughed at the praise from Pocong 1 for his beautiful face. “I'll take that as a compliment, Pocong 1.”

“It was indeed a compliment, durawapati.”

Sadewa then releases Alena's arm which helps her walk out of the hut and walk closer towards Pocong 1. Sadewa raised his hand and Pocong 1 tried to lower his head so that Sadewa could untie Pocong which was the cause of the spirit wandering after his death. Sadewa held the rope. “You're ready, Pocong 1?”

Tskc. Sadewa took off the pocong rope belonging to Pocong 1 and in an instant the same incident was repeated. A dazzling bright light emerged from Pocong 1, making Alena and Sadewa difficult to see.

“Thank you very much, durawapati, Alena.”

When Alena opened her eyes, Pocong 1 was no longer the pocong she had seen. Pocong 1 turns into a pretty handsome man with his war uniform known as Surya. The man named Surya gave a small hug to Sadewa and Alena alternately.

Test, test .... Alena's tears trickled down when she received the hug because it felt so warm.

“One more time, thank you very much. I go first.”

It was the last sentence spoken by Pocong 1 who had changed into Surya before he disappeared along with the bright light that came out from within his spirit.

            “Hiks .. hiks ...”

            “Hiks .. hiks ...”

As soon as Pocong 1 disappeared, Alena heard many cries. Alena looked back and found many ghosts appearing behind her who were crying together after the departure of Pocong 1.

Goodbye, Pocong 1. Ahh, no, should I call you by the name of Surya?? Yes ... Better Surya only. Goodbye, Surya.  For the short time that brought the two of us together, I could only reply with a thank you. Thank you for helping me out so much and taking care of me when I was stuck here and forced to accept such a confusing state of affairs. As a ghost and a ghost, I have to admit you are the best ghost I have ever met and for that encounter, I feel grateful.

More than you think, as a ghost, you are loved by many other ghosts, Surya. For your departure, many ghosts shed their tears. This signifies as a ghost .. You're pretty good, Surya.

Again ... Goodbye, Surya. Hope you can calm down in the afterlife.

Alena lowered her head because of the tears that kept falling and made her face wet.

“Cry if you want. We all grieve for his passing.” Sadewa suddenly drew closer to him, stood before him and patted Alena's shoulder gently. Alena rested her head on the chest of Sadewa's field while letting her tears flow down her face.

            “Hey, hey!!”

In her cries, Alena heard the screams all of a sudden. Alena wiped her tears and opened her eyes.

            “Hei, hey!!”

This time ... Alena felt her body being pushed away by several ghosts: Sundel bolong and kuntilanak.

“What?” Alena asked with a face soaked by tears with a clueless look.

“While you are sad, do not take the opportunity to be in the arms of durawapati!!!” Several ghosts Sundel bolong and Kuntilanak spoke the same sentence and made Alena stunned when she heard it.

Shit man!!! These ghosts really are!!! At a time like this, they still had time to scramble over Sadewa!!
