Screamnights

Screamnights
decisions

The plan that Alena said was approved by Gala and Manda. Gala was worried about the situation later, but seeing how the beauty of K village seemed to be able to change Gala's worries a little. Meanwhile, Manda, who is very fond of horror, was amazed by the beauty of K village. From the warm springs located at the foot of L mountain to how abundant agriculture is in K village, Manda really enjoyed his activities for two days exploiting K village. Manda even really, really enjoyed the typical cuisine provided by the villagers of K.

“You know ... I'm really in love with this village.” Manda spoke with enthusiasm after chewing lunch given by villagers K at the house of Ratih Mother. Incidentally during the day, Ratih's mother had to go to her rice field together with some farmers in K village. “Food here is delicious and the village is really quiet once.”

“You sure you love this village?” Gala asked after eating lunch in the form of fried chicken lalapan complete with rice sauce and boiled vegetables such as kenikir and spinach. “If I leave you here alone, you won't be angry, Manda?”

Buk. Manda placed the plate on his left hand and instantly floated a fierce punch on Gala's shoulder. The punch was loud enough that his voice echoed slightly at the house of Ratih's mother.

“You can leave me alone here huh?? You're really mean, Gala!!!” Manda snorted in annoyance and continued eating. Biting the thigh of the chicken which was his favorite part tightly as if he was tearing Gala meat as a sign of his regret.

“Didn't you tell me yourself that you love this village??” Gala replied again.

“Can you guys eat quietly??” Alena, who was upset with Gala and Manda's fighting, finally spoke up in her flat voice and without looking at the two. “Is this food not tasty until you still have time to argue and do not enjoy it calmly?”

“It's delicious, it's really delicious.” Manda and Gala answered simultaneously.

Alena shook her head seeing how Gala and Manda responded simultaneously. “I wouldn't be surprised if you guys would later probably decide to get married. You may look like a cat and a mouse, but you really have the same thoughts at other times.”

Manda and Gala were shocked to hear the words from Alena. The two stared at each other before finally looking at Alena.  Manda then stopped eating and looked towards Alena with a curious face. “If we really end up being, will you be angry, Alena?”

Alena glanced at Manda and Gala alternately before finally making a small smile at the corner of her lips. “Why should I be angry?? From my point of view, you guys fit in with each other. I will be angry if you guys who have been made just throw me away.”

Gala put down her plate that had been empty and clean of food. Gala got up from her seat to wash her hands behind her.  But before that, Gala stopped her footsteps and spoke to Alena. “You're our friend, Alena. The three of us are a team. Even if Manda and I were to choose to be a couple, we would never think of throwing you away, Alena. We are colleagues, we are friends and we are also family.”

Gala stepped her legs back and Manda nodded her head in agreement with Gala's words. “We would never do that, Alena. Don't ever think like that again. It feels sad to imagine your words. The three of us have been together for two years now and imagining we are not three anymore, it would feel very strange. Don't say that again, promise me, Alena.”

Alena nodded her head while laughing. “I'm just kidding, Manda. Why are you taking my words seriously??”

“Do not say that again, Alena!” This time, Manda spoke in a serious tone and looked at Alena with a sharp look. “The three of us will stay together. We're partners, teams and families. That won't change!”

Alena nodded her head. “I understand, Manda. I'll never say that again, I promise.”

            Her night.

After Surya informed him that the situation has improved and said that the durawapati tomorrow will be able to accompany Alena along with Gala and Manda to enter the Durawa burial area, Alena along with Gala and Manda must now make a choice.

“So how?” Alena asked Manda and Gala. “Are we going to enter the Durawa burial area tomorrow and continue our arrival destination here?”

“I agree.” Manda answered quickly and without thinking twice. Alena had expected the answer from Manda because Manda was very curious about Durawa's funeral. Coupled with the state of this village which is actually really beautiful, but now lost most of its population because of the actions of some foreigners who broke the rules when entering the funeral Durawa. It makes Manda feel a little pity with the state of the village K.

“How about you, Gala?” Alena asked again.

“Yes. My answer remains the same.” Alena answered with complete confidence. “Screamnight is now at a dangerous point and in order to save screamnight, we have to take the footage in this village. Moreover, we can save the state of this village if we do not find anything in the cemetery area later. That way ... once stepped we can reach many things.”

Huft. Gala sighed before looking at Alena. “If you two still remain confident in your decision, I have no other choice.”

“Yessss.” Manda shouted happily at the answer Gala gave. “Finally tomorrow ... we can see how Durawa's funeral is!!!”

That night both Alena, Manda and Gala could not sleep well. Gala just lay down while rolling a few times on the old bed in the house of Mr. Rahmat. While Manda and Alena are in the same room and the same bed, teasing each other and then finally talking to each other.

“You haven't slept, Manda?” Alena asked for the first time.

            “Ehm, no. You too?”

“Ehm, me too.” Alena answered. “Why can't you sleep?”

“I imagine how durawapati that is?? Does he have a long, thick beard? Or with long hair with a lot of hair that starts to whiten coupled with her hair that is tangled because it is rarely combed and washed? Or maybe he walked with a cane aid and his slightly bent body?” Manda explained what was currently in his imagination.

“Hehehe.” Alena chuckles with a shadow of Manda's imagination that all of them are impressed that durawapati is an old man who has an age over 60s. “All the images you make are durawapati it is a man who is old enough, Manda.”

“What about you, Alena? How do you feel about durawapati that made us wait for these few days?” Manda asked curiously.

“Ehm .. may not be far from the face of the picture of Mr. Grace. You see Mr Grace still standing firmly, having a soft face and full of charisma and speaking softly??”

“I saw it.” Manda nodded his head in agreement with the picture of Mr. Grace. “But why do you think that durawapati is like Pak Rahmat?”

“Because these two days we have been around in this village, I see that most of the residents in this village despite their age are quite old, they still stand up straight. Only a few have stooped posture. So ... I guess, durawapati it is not far from the picture of most residents in this village.”

“Hahahaha, you're right too.” Manda chuckles at Alena's explanation and remembers how silly the images are in her imagination. Manda then thought of something in her mind. “How about we make a small bet??”

“Bet?” Alena turned her head to look at Manda who was lying on her right side. “What bet?”

Still with a little laugh, Manda answered. “Bet how durawapati this village looks like. The winner can ask the loser to do whatever the winner asks. How?”

“Then what if nothing is true?” Alena turned around asking with a small smile on her face a sign Alena liked with this small bet.

“The closest answer that will be the winner.”

Alena and Manda then agree with each other and before long the two fall asleep in the hope that they can win this small bet.
