unfulfilled wishes: kunti 2 part 1

            Alena had thought Kunti 1 would be as angry as ever for bringing up her unfulfilled wish. Alena even asked Sadewa to get ready if what she planned failed. But for the umpteenth time, Alena's guess was wrong. More than Alena expected, Kunti 1 enjoyed a small party made by Alena along with Sadewa and Kunti 2. All the ghosts who came also felt the same way with Kunti 1. Perhaps this was the first time for them to feel a small part of human life that had ever felt. That was what Alena thought when she saw the happy faces of the ghosts with a smile on their faces, although that smile still looked terrible in Alena's eyes.

            “Thank you.” Kunti 1 briefly hugged Alena's body. “You have no idea how much I wanted to feel about this while I was living as a human being. Feel loved by many people, have many friends and celebrate important things together with them. I who was always oppressed because I had a beautiful face and was born from a poor family was considered a thorn for those who have wealth. In the eyes of some people the beauty I have can only cause jealousy and envy. Then in the eyes of some others, I am just a tool to earn a lot of money because of the beauty I have.”

            Puk .. puk. Alena patted Kunti 1 on the shoulder in return. “I hope these memories will last in your memory, Kunti 1.”

            Test ... test. Kunti 1 shed her tears a sign of the happiness she had long craved. “There's one thing I want to do again. Can you help me, Alena?”

            “What is it?”

            Kunti 1 approached towards Alena and whispered. The whisper from Kunti 1, suddenly made Alena surprised and immediately looked towards Sadewa with an uncertain face.

            “I'm not sure if Sadewa wants to do it or not.”

            “I won't force it. I'm just making a statement not a question that needs an answer.” Kunti 1 insisted.

            Alena looked towards Sadewa again and still felt unsure. “What if I fail to convince him, Kunti 1?”

            “You should be able to, Alena! Don't you want to grant my request??” Kunti 1 grinned and the grin looked quite terrifying in Alena's eyes.

            “Alright, I'll try.” Alena walked over to Sadewa with all her faith while resting in her mind several times. Damnit damnit! Damnit damnit! Damnit damnit!! Ghosts are unbelievable!! He really took advantage of what I did for him!!

            “What's with your gaze, Alena?” Sadewa immediately asked a question when she saw Alena walking up to him.

            Alena shook her head several times while gathering her courage before finally whispering to Sadewa.

            “I have to do that?” Sadewa asked Alena with eyes that were barely out of place.

            Alena nodded her head. “Yes it seems so. Help me this time, Sadewa. I beg of you.”

            Sadewa massaged his forehead several times while complaining. “Basic female ghost!! Why can they all fall for me like this and always bother me??”

            “Blame that handsome face of yours, Sadewa. You are too handsome so that your charm attracts not only humans but also ghosts.”

             “It seems after this I have to change the way you ask and comfort me, Alena.” Sadewa glared back towards Alena. But not long after, Sadewa walked by pulling Alena's hand towards Kunti 1. “You asked me that you should accompany me, Alena.”

            The atmosphere was silent for a moment when Sadewa who pulled Alena's hand, stood right in front of Kunti 1. All the ghosts wondered with that silence. Alena who knew what was about to happen could only try to hide her heartbeat from being heard by the ghosts around her.

            Kunti 1 looked at Sadewa with teary eyes before finally opening his mouth and shocking all the ghosts who were participating in the small party. “As I live, I have never done this. I want to make a confession to you. Maybe you've known about this for a long time, durawapati. I like you, durawapati.”

            Sadewa looked silently at Kunti 1. Alena who was beside Sadewa wondered about Sadewa's reaction because Sadewa was just silent and did not react. Alena nudges Sadewa and makes Sadewa finally open her mouth to talk. “A-I've heard it. I hope that someday ..you will be able to truly fall in love and have a true partner, Kunti 1. Ah no ... Sriati.”

            “Thank you.” Kunti 1 smilingly received a response from Sadewa.

Not long after, Kunti 1's face changed. A bright light emerged from the body of Kunti 1. The makeup that had covered the face of Kunti 1 slowly faded and showed how the original look of Kunti 1 during his life. Kunti 1 smiled but this time the smile was not the horrible smile that Alena remembered.

“We parted here. Thank you, Alena, Kunti 2 and the other ghosts who helped this party. Thank you also to Durawapati who has been willing to hear my confession. Once again thank you.”

Durawa's previously always dark cemetery is now turned so bright thanks to the light from the body of Kunti 1.

“We'll meet again right?” Kunti 2 cried seeing Kunti 1 which slowly disappeared along with a bright light.

“I hope so and when it happens, I hope we will be friends again.”

The dazzling light shone so brightly, making Alena along with Sadewa and the other ghosts difficult to see. The light shone brightly for approximately one minute and when it went out, Kunti 1 had completely disappeared.

After Sadewa came out of Durawa's cemetery, Alena saw Kunti 2 sitting on a tree branch that was sitting like he was waiting for her.

“You seem to be waiting for me, Kunti 2.” Alena greeted Kunti 2 by waving her hand several times towards Kunti 2.

Kunti 2 flew down in the best way possible and as graceful as possible even after landing a little tripped long white clothes that can no longer be called white.  The elegance that Kunti 2 seeks to demonstrate ends in failure.

            “Ah shit! I failed again to land as well and as graceful as possible.” Kunti 2 cusses himself.

            “Hahaha ... “ Alena chuckles to see a ghost who is cursing herself. “I didn't expect you to care so much about elegance, Kunti 2. What's waiting for me there? You want to see Sadewa leave or want to talk to me after Sadewa leaves?”

            Kunti 2 confirmed the clothes that made him almost fall down. Kunti 2 even raised a little white shirt that could no longer be called white. “Both are true.”

            Alena nodded her head in a sign of understanding. “OK, what is it?”

            “I want you to also grant the wish that keeps me stuck here, Alena.”

            Alena closed her mouth in disbelief when she heard the words from Kunti 2. This is really the jackpot!! This time ... I don't need any trouble to persuade Kunti 2 like Kunti 1.

            Alena looked towards Kunti 2 with a curious face and asked. “What desire keeps you stuck here, Kunti 2?”

            Kunti 2 approached towards Alena and then whispered. Alena listened to the whisper carefully before finally looking at Kunti 2 with a face of disbelief.

            “That's impossible!!” Alena shouted while imagining a face full of rejection from Sadewa for the request. Shit man!!! Why is the guardian of this tomb too handsome and attract the attention of many ghosts in it??? Damnit damnit!! That handsome face was really troublesome!!!
