Screamnights
challenge part 2

Alena continued to give an explanation to Gala. Several times before giving an explanation, Alena will check the location to make sure first. And after reading the many comments that Manda has filtered, Alena found that the location given by loyal visitors to the screamnight account is mostly a location in the famous urbamd legend in many cities.

“Which one will we choose?” Manda asked again as Alena finished her explanation to Gala.

“Some locations are tourist locations that have mystical stories behind them; like a relationship that runs aground if a couple comes to that place or a location that takes a toll on almost every year. Such locations can not be used as a destination because to capture mystical things and horror, it will be very difficult.”

Alena nodded her head in agreement with Gala as her team cameraman. “We are not a couple, then we cannot prove the truth of that story. Then regarding the falling victims, we only get it from the mouths of those around. If lucky we can meet the accident that happened there, but it is a hunting thing because as if we expect the misfortune of others to our own advantage.”

Manda nodded her head in agreement with Alena's explanation. “If so ... which of these places can make it a challenge for screamnight? At least ... we have to choose one place to attract more visitors in our account.”

“How about this?” Alena pointed to a comment that had intrigued her from the beginning. Gala and Manda stared at the comment that Alena pointed to with the same look: curious.

“Durawa Public Funeral Park??” Manda asked with a frown. Alena could clearly see the three wrinkles on Manda's forehead.

            “Ya.” Alena nodded her head.

“Why choose that location?” Gala asked. “Is there a reason why you chose that place?”

Alena pointed to the comments sent to the comment field of the screamnight account and read the comments aloud to two of her colleagues: Manda and Gala. The comment read: I don't know if this cemetery in my village is the right location or not. But there's one story about this public burial place in my village. This public cemetery has a sacred story. This public burial place is divided into several sections adapted to the religion embraced by the buyers of the land, there is even a special section for people of Chinese descent. In addition ... the keeper of the tomb is a family that is hereditary into the guardian of the tomb known as durawapati. There is a story circulating that the family who inherited the task of being the caretaker of the tomb is the one who is able to see ghosts and even talk to them. Some people say that the caretaker of the tomb often speaks for itself when guarding the burial area. One more ... durawaitu cemetery area is known to be quite scary when night falls because some of the tombs inside are tombs that are more than decades old and some are over a hundred years old. Then some people say that some of the tombs there are the graves of unknown people who may be descendants of witches and so forth.

“What do you think?” Alena ended her remark repeating the comment that caught her attention.

“Quite interesting.” Gala gave her comment. “I'm quite curious about the guardian of the tomb. What's Durawa called??”

“Durawapati.” Alena confirmed Gala's speech before finally looking towards Manda. “How about you, Manda?”

Manda nodded her head in agreement with Gala and Alena. “I just read it at a glance so don't see the interesting side of that comment. But as Gala said, I was interested in that location along with the tomb guard. How did one hereditary family inherit the task of guarding the tomb and have the ability to see and communicate with supernatural beings like ghosts? Meeting them will be interesting. I wonder what kind of ghost they saw in that tomb.”

Gala and Manda nodded their heads with a satisfied smile on their faces, answering a question from Alena.

“Good, we start preparations to find that location.”

Preparation was not easy. The location of the public cemetery is not an easy location. Although the name is TPU or Public Funeral Place which should be easily reached and most are in the city, this one cemetery is on the outskirts of the city in a fairly remote area. TPU Durawa is located in the village of K at the foot of L mountain in Central Java province where the mountain itself is considered a haunted mountain. There are many horror stories about Mount L, but the most famous is that the mountain is often there is an invisible market where the sound of many people is heard like in the market but nothing is seen there.

And again ... to be able to enter the Durawa cemetery area, the number of people who can enter is also limited. Even the bodyguards that went in to bury their families were also restricted. The total number of people who can enter the cemetery area to deliver the body and bury it is a maximum of 20 people.

“It looks like we really found the right location.” Gala commented while packing the equipment needed to record at Durawa's public cemetery. “To get in there it seems like there are many requirements to do.”

Alena who was also packing her luggage, nodded her head in agreement. “From the sources we contacted, the funeral did have many conditions. Manda even recorded it, so as not to forget.”

Alena glanced at Manda who was also packing Gala's clothes and some equipment before going to the location of Durawa's public cemetery. Manda who noticed Alena's glance that led to her, nodded her head in her small reply. “Yes, a lot of it. Actually, the burial place is the same as most other burial places during the day. It's just that at night, there are a lot of rules to get there. Like not being able to visit with an odd number of people, then women who are unfortunate also should not enter, the point is that throughout the recording later, we all have to be extra careful.”

Gala stopped her activities packing the equipment that would be needed throughout the recording. “If not allowed to visit with an odd number, what one of us should stay outside the burial area??”

Manda shook her head quickly answering Gala's question. “Ah for that, I already asked our source.  The three of us can go in there together.”

“Didn't you just say, the number shouldn't be odd??” Gala cut quickly Manda's words.

“Tomb guard, he will accompany us later. So our number is four and not three. According to our sources, the guardian of the tomb must come with us to guard us throughout the recording. We don't know what's going to happen and what disruptions will happen, so the guardian of the tomb is supposed to accompany us because the location of the tomb is remote and quite far from the settlement of villagers.”

Alena who continued to pack clothes and some needs during the trip later, could only listen to Manda's explanation. Huf ... Alena let out a long sigh several times and this time for the first time, Alena felt that this trip was quite a long journey compared to other trips she had taken as a youtuber.
