Screamnights
the funeral of durawa part 2

“Greetings, Drive Abinawa.” Kunti 2 walked towards the old man, lowered his head in front of the old man and gave a greeting.

“Salam.” The old man replied to the greeting of Kunti 2 briefly after ordering the tuyul-tuyul who was playing with him to leave.

Seeing how Kunti 2 saluted respectfully to the old man, Alena who did not know how to behave in front of the old man did the same with Kunti 2: walked over, lowered her head and gave her greetings. “Greetings, Drive Abinawa.”

            “Greetings, Alena.”

Alena gasped to hear her name called. Alena hurriedly raised her head and asked the old man before her in surprise. “Ba-how do you know my name?”

The old man called Bendara Abinawa got up from his seat and stood in front of Alena. Was ... Alena thought that because the old man was carrying a stick, her body would be slightly bent because it was used to holding her body with a stick. But when she saw him rise from her seat, Alena realized that her estimation was wrong. The old man stood very firmly with a heavy aura that seemed to be able to make anyone see him would suppress them. Alena sensed that and when Alena glanced towards Kunti 2 beside her, Kunti 2 was suddenly in a kneeling position with a slightly depressed face.

What happened to Kunti 2? Is it possible for this aura to make Kunti 2 kneel like that? Alena asked inside her mind while looking towards the old man before her who turned out to be much taller than Alena's height.

“You can go.” The old man looked towards Kunti 2 as he spoke.

“Good, Bendara.” Kunti 2 obeyed the old man and turned around before finally disappearing in just one blink of an eye.

Alena felt a little afraid because she was currently dealing with something unknown alone. There was no Sadewa and no more ghosts known to him. Alena's hand was even slightly trembling due to her fear that was mixed with the aura of the old man before her at this moment.

“Didn't Sadewa give you a warning not to believe in the ghosts here, Alena?”

Tskc. Alena gasped again hearing the remark from the old man before her at this moment. How does he know what I'm thinking? Alena asked that question in her mind as she looked towards the old man before her.

“I have the ability to read the minds of humans and other beings, Alena. And just like you .. I used to be human. So ... You don't have to be afraid of me.”

The old man called Bendara Abinawa answered the question in Alena's mind without Alena saying it was more than enough for Alena to believe. After these almost month-long incongruities, it didn't take long for Alena to accept this kind of incongruity. It could be said that Alena was used to the strange circumstances that were happening before her eyes.

            “Good, Mr.”

“Call me Grandpa Abinawa as Sadewa did.”

“Good, Grandpa.” Alena nodded her head. Alena still felt a slight pressure from the aura of the old man that the grandfather had summoned, then ventured to ask the old man. “Ba-how did Grandpa know my name?”

The old man sat back in his old chair. The old man gestured for Alena to sit next to him in an empty spot. Alena sat down beside the old man despite still feeling a slight pressure from the aura of the old pira and felt a little reluctant.

“I've been waiting for your arrival for a long time, Alena.”

“I?” Alena pointed to herself with a look of wonder and bewilderment. “Why is Grandpa waiting for my arrival??”

The old man grasped the handle of his cane with his two hands, making the cane as if it were a buffer of his body. “For that .. I can't say it, Alena. There are some things that would be better if it remains a mystery and unknown to many people.”

Alena was dissatisfied with the old man's reply. But ... Alena had no other choice but to accept that answer. The protests or complaints would not change the mind of the old man beside Alena and Alena knew very well of it just from the aura she felt from the old man beside her.

            “Then ... I won't ask again.”

“Thank you, Grandpa.” Alena received the praise given by the old man and the praise made the pressure felt by Alena slightly less. “Then can I ask about anything else, Grandpa?”

“Let me hear your question first.” The old man gave a wise answer to Alena's question.

“I've been here a month, Grandpa. But ... I still can't find what I'm looking for and the reason I'm stuck here-at Durawa's funeral. According to Grandpa, what should I do so that I can get out of here? What can I ask, Grandpa?”

“I can answer, Alena. You want to meet your mother, don't you?” The old man once again read Alena's mind like before.

“Yes, Grandpa. Can I do it?”  Alena asked with a hopeful look.

            “You can do it, Alena.”

            “How to, Grandpa?”

The old man raised his right hand, flicked his finger and in an instant, Alena along with the old man moved places.

“Huwaaahhh!!! This??” Alena screamed in surprise and suddenly she moved in the blink of an eye. “Ba-how could Grandpa do it?”

“I can move anywhere and that is one of the talents I have.” The old man gave a small explanation to Alena who was shocked and in disbelief.

Alena wanted to ask how the old man could have such talent, but Alena paused her intention because she felt the question was unnecessary. For Alena, the talent of moving places is something that will be impossible to master. Alena then stared at the location where she was standing at this moment. In front of him is Kunti 1, Kunti 2, Pocong 1, Pocong 2, Tuyul 1 and Tuyul 2 who are in the same location and busy alone.

“Why did Grandpa bring me here?” Alena asked.

“They six. The six of them are ghosts whose age is quite long at Durawa cemetery. They've been here too long. If you want to find what you're looking for, help them find what keeps them stuck here.” The old man gave the answer to several questions of Alena at once.

Alena stared at the six ghosts who were busy with their respective busyness: Kunti 1 was reflecting on an old mirror that some parts of it had broken, Kunti 2 was busy combing her tangled hair while humming that sounded scary in Alena's ears, Pocong 1 was asleep in a standing position and Pocong 2 was busy sitting alone on the tree. Then Tuyul 1 and Tuyul 2 were busy running to and fro fighting over something that Alena could not see.

It seems like this is not an easy task. Alena said that line in her mind while swallowing her saliva, glek.
