Secret Admirer; In The Land Of Fairies

Secret Admirer; In The Land Of Fairies
14. Prince?

Zoe's not coming back.

When I looked in the cafeteria, I didn't find Zoe there. I thought, did she go to the other toilet? If so, I don't know where to go, other than because the class entrance bell rang a while ago, I didn't have my phone with me either. Tom, who had been with me, suggested returning to class, because Zoe might have returned to her own class and soon the lessons would begin.

"It's your first day at school anyway, Kimmy."

Tom's right. On my first day at school, I didn't want to cause any trouble. I don't want to draw more attention than this. Enough of Frederick Elford who made my mood less complicated. So I decided to follow Tom's advice, and we went back to class. Luckily Tom's class was right next to mine so he could keep me company until I got into my class.

Throughout the rest of today's lesson I'm increasingly unable to concentrate. I was worried about Zoe, especially the change in her expression and attitude after Tom mentioned Marion Lynch in front of her. When the story is true, it is likely that Zoe has been abandoned by her loved ones.

In retrospect, Max Borsche seemed to have mentioned the man.

^^^"Come, Zoe. I know you too^^^

^^^want to go in there.^^^

^^^ It has been almost a year, ^^

^^^since he disappeared?"^^^

I who have been considered his best friend apparently still do not know anything about Zoe. Maybe I should ask Max? He is Zoe's brother, so he should know more than Tom. The Borsche brothers seem familiar after all.

Are there any other secrets that will be revealed later?

My gaze was still glued out the window as the teacher had closed the final lesson. The students started leaving the class. I regained consciousness late and immediately cleaned up the items on the table and put them in a bag. However, when I was about to stand up, deja vu felt real to me. Someone came up to me, who was none other than Frederick Elford. While I looked up and looked shockingly at him, he smiled curiously at me.

Instantly I suspected that the guy had ulterior intentions.

"You.." I said hanging. I have no intention of continuing the word. My heart whispered to tell me to get out of here.

"Kimberly." Frederick's voice sounded softer than I remembered. "You're coming home with me?"

Really, I don't want the rooftop to happen again. Moreover, the remaining students in the class seemed to be in a hurry to leave after looking at us. So I stood up after hooking the bag strap on my shoulder.

"No." I answered him firmly. Without looking at him, I rushed past him. At first I thought he was going to let me through like before, but in fact, he held my hand. My steps stopped. His pull on me forced my body to face towards him.

"I don't want a rejection from you, Princess Kimberly."

My heart suddenly fell to my stomach. The order that forced me to submit was so disturbing. The title, 'Mr Kimberly', reminds me of a mysterious letter addressed to me. This guy in front of me, whose gray-eyed binary is looking at me intensely, isn't someone who wrote me that letter, is he?

"Why do you call me that?" I asked by trying to step back. However, the bigger and stronger hand continued to grip my wrist making me grimace in pain.

"Because you're my daughter's master and I'm your prince" Frederick's free hand then held my chin, his thumb slowly rubbing my lips, "I miss you."

The series of words that came out from the guy's mouth were increasingly similar to the contents of the letter addressed to me. It was as if it answered the big question mark in my head regarding the author of the mysterious letter. As I tried to think more clearly, Frederick's touch to my lips somehow made me fall more and more into his desires.

My body is beating, my heart is getting louder. Really, my heart is asking me to get out of here, but my body cannot move. The longer I want to go, the more I get lulled by her words to me.

“Mr Princess, be mine.”

I can't control my body. My gaze became my darling. My head becomes cloudy. Could I be asleep? Frederick slightly lifted my chin so that our eyes met again. Within this close distance, I could see the binary of Frederick's eyes clearly, I could even see a black tinge moving at the center of the gray eye. How exquisite.

Slowly I realized, the guy's face was getting closer to mine. I can even feel his breath being blown cold. However, before our lips touched each other, suddenly, a warmth overshadowed my shoulders. Someone pulled me away from Frederick. When I turned around in confusion, I found out it was Noah Huxley.

The scent of musk on Noah's body instantly spread into my sense of smell. One of his ungipped hands wrapped around my neck, as if he didn't want to let me out of it. What I heard next was dominated by the sound of my breathing roaring heavy and hot. I don't know why, I feel my head spinning.

"troublemaker's fly. Noah Huxley." Although his haughty smile seemed to be on his handsome face, Frederick could not hide his regret. He then loosened his collar and tie roughly. “It looks like you want to make trouble with me.”

Noah was silent, not answering. However, his dark eyes looked sharply at Frederick. The black-haired man then pulled me so I could take cover behind his back. I still feel floating without knowing why just obey and hold the tip of Noah's uniform behind. My heavy head accidentally leaned against Noah's back. Noah glanced back for a moment before returning to Frederick before him.

“Frederick Elford.” Noah's voice sounded cold and intimidating. “Just because this girl is new, doesn't mean you're free to play with her.”

“I'm not playing with him, Huxley. We were just talking. Isn't that right, Kimberly?"

I heard it again, I shuddered. I don't want to answer. Anyway don't want to! Frederick Elford is not a prince in my shadow. I'm really scared right now.

"You better go, Elford," Noah warned.

"Ah, you're really ruining the fun of others, Huxley. But all right." It was strange to hear how Frederick Elford gave up. "Listen, Kimberly. Remember my words earlier. One day you'll be mine.”

However, I mistakenly thought. Frederick doesn't seem to give up and might come back to do the same to me. Mine, said the man. That was the craziest thing I heard today.

Frederick then left listening to the remnants of his laughter. I was still standing on the spot with my head lowered. Noah didn't turn around, he let me in with my still-down position and held onto his shirt.

“She's gone. You're safe.”

I nodded without being able to say anything, then brushed my eyes wet with tears welling up. My legs were limp, I fell on the nearest chair. I could even still feel Frederick's breath, and imagine how Frederick almost kissed my lips. If there wasn't Noah, maybe that silvery-hair guy would have taken my first kiss.

Although Frederick claimed to be a prince, even if he was a prince, I only wanted to give my first kiss to my own prince. The prince I love.

Plucking that thought, I refocused on the surroundings.

“Noah, I.. You saved me again." I smiled weakly at him. "Thank you.”

Noah sat in the opposite seat. He then got a little bit stuck. “This is the first. Not that yesterday you saved yourself by punching him?”

Maybe Noah had a point, but still, yesterday Noah also intended to help me get away from Frederick before I punched that shitty face. Then I laughed a little. From where I sat, I could see Noah smiling faintly. I smile and look.

“It seems like I was so scared when Elford approached me that my body couldn't dodge. I could punch him yesterday." What I experienced reminded me of the experience of dating an anonymous girl with Frederick told by Zoe. “In retrospect, I couldn't do anything, just like the girls who couldn't turn down Elford's date-have you heard the gossip, Noah? Ugh. I got so pissed at myself why I could be like them.”

A loud jolt suddenly landed on my forehead. I immediately closed and rubbed the rest of the pain, before intending to issue words of protest.

“Stupid girl,” said Noah who apparently was standing in front of me.

“A-what do you mean?!

“You are different from them. Just be careful and do not be in eye contact with Elford.” for too long

“Eh-wait, I don't understand.”

Noah didn't respond. The guy suddenly turned away after seeing the time on his watch.

“I have to go. Bye,” Noah said without looking at me.

As usual, Noah Huxley came and went as he pleased.

When I wanted to protest Noah with my 'super' words, my phone rang. Somebody called. At first I thought it was Zoe who was going to tell me about her situation. But when I saw the screen, it was Max Borsche. We did exchange numbers on the rooftop yesterday.

Then I nervously picked up the phone.

"Hello, Max?"

Across the street, Max told me he was in the back garden. He thinks I forgot and was engrossed with Zoe for not returning a chat from him. He said Noah also never showed up his nose. I immediately remembered the promise of the three of us to meet in the back garden after school.

I also realized that maybe Noah left me on purpose. That guy definitely didn't want to put me on the list of members who would go with them to the backwoods of the school!

“Noah! You left me!”

In a hurry, I ran after Noah.
