Secret Admirer; In The Land Of Fairies

Secret Admirer; In The Land Of Fairies
24. Unusual in Fairille

"You're getting pretty today. If only you were my daughter's master."

I can't believe what I just heard.

If Leonal Ordt was the real prince, I might not mind. However, the statement that came from the mouth of the man made my heart that did not want to calm even as if supporting the small expectations that had occurred. I gently bit my lower lip, feeling the remaining touch of Leonal's hand that had landed on my ear. With the courage I had gathered, I asked.

"Do you have another daughter, Mr Ordt?" I asked by looking up as I realized our distance was getting cut.

Wait for. What did I just ask? And our position, why is it so close? My back was even attached to the locker, while Leonal kept giving me a princely smile. Pimply. I can even smell a thin floral fragrance on that guy's body.

"Of course she had many other daughters" said one man suddenly, in unison with the pull on Leonal's back collar, making the curly-haired man forcibly move away from me. "Stop flirting with the girls at school, Chief Ordt."

"Well?" leonal said surprised to find his vice chairman here.

I immediately blinked my eyelids a few times, then straightened my posture that had been lulled with Leonal Ordt. The presence of Noah Huxley was actually able to break the effect of Leonal charm on me.

"I don't mean to flirt" Leonal closed with a crisp laugh, fixing the slightly messy collar. The guy didn't look upset after being treated quite harshly by Noah. Considering their meeting on the edge of the forest yesterday, I realized the two of them were indeed close friends. "I'm only interested in Miss Schulz, as are the other students. Don't you too, Vice Huxley?" leonal asked Noah.

Noah's probing gaze was then directed at me. With a quick roll, his eyeballs looked at me from top to bottom, then up again, as if I was being judged by the guy.

"No. She's just a city girl in general. Nothing special" Noah said.

Instantly, my forehead frowned. Anger suddenly burst into the mind even though I myself did not actually reject that opinion. I am a girl from a very ordinary city. Getting the attention of the students in Fairille I never wanted before. I don't know their real reasons, including Leonal who expressed interest in me.

Decakan Leonal fused my thinking. When I looked at him, he shook his head dramatically.

"The basis of the ice-hearted man" he said satirically to Noah.

Oh, I've never been caught up in a guy's conversation before. Moreover, the topic of conversation was myself. How can I not be nervous?

"Whatever," replied Noah coldly. "We better get to the committee room before the bell comes in."

Noah started walking away from us. As for Leonal, when she was about to bow down and put one hand in front of her chest to say goodbye, I held her back before she actually left. My curiosity is more to be satisfied than to be left alone without knowing anything.

"Master Ordt, I want to ask you something. Can I?" my word conveys intent.

"Yes? What'sthat?" ask Leonal.

I covered my lips for a moment, before daring to ask.

"What does Mr. Ordt mean about being 'interested in me like everyone else'?" ask me a little embarrassed. Because up to this moment I didn't find myself on it, and it was very strange to me.

Leonal smiled.

"Just calm down, it's not a bad thing. It's just that your arrival from the city has indeed become a byword among the students of this school, and also," Leonal grabbed my hand and kissed her, "your aura of unusual beauty among Fairille."

Not only because of the kiss, Leonal's blue eyes seemed to sink me into the deep ocean. The effect is so great on me. I stood sculpting. My face flushed like a boiled crab. What Leonal said can only be processed in my head when that guy has left me. That guy could be just bragging, right? Especially when considering the fact that the guy is very friendly and favored by women. Ex-kiss on my finger.have all the girls ever felt it?

I still don't understand. Rather than Leonal's words, it did sound more reasonable that Noah called me a city girl in general. Unlike Fairille's students, Noah looked like the normal guys I met at McReych. Although it was undeniable, it was quite annoying Noah's remark.

What if I'm not special, huh?! Besides, if he thinks like that, there's no need to talk in front of my face, right?

...***...

Unlike the day before, during the lesson I was able to concentrate fully. Maybe because there was no presence of the teaser, Frederick Elford, in class today. Deliberately ditching or getting sick, I don't care.

The class atmosphere is also more relaxed. Not only me, it seems like the other disciples felt it too. The class leader who had not welcomed me before was now approaching me and pulling up a chair to talk to me. Precisely, during the break, just provide information about classes and school celebrations that will be held on weekends. He even apologized to me for coming over.

"I hope you're here, Schulz. And," the class leader drew closer to his body and lowered his volume to whisper, "if I may give advice, keep your distance from Elford. I saw yesterday when after school, he seemed to have some business with you. You're okay, right?"

From the warning of the class leader, it seems that the class children are afraid of Elford and do not want to deal with him. Just approaching the line reluctantly. I guess I can understand it.

"Thanks, Adayr. But it doesn't matter. I can handle it," I said in a joking tone. Though yesterday Noah helped me and managed to get rid of that platinum-haired guy. I remember a girl of similar stature to Frederick Elford. "By the way, does Elford have a sister?"

"Oh, how did you know? Yep. She has a twin sister. Have you met him?" ask the class leader who seems to be getting more enthusiastic.

Twins, said.

"yeah. This morning." My expression is a little bit. Gabriel Aadyr seemed to catch the unpleasant impression of my meeting with a female Elford. "It doesn't look like he's too different from a boy Elford."

The guy near me did not answer. He looked agitated and rubbed his sweaty neck. "Lucile Elford is beautiful, but I agree with you."

"Oh, do you like it? That Lucile Elford?" I asked spontaneously which seemed to be on target. The head of the class was misbehaving and reacting. His face that held shame made me curl a smile. "Everyone's feelings can't be forced, right? Liking an Elford isn't a bad thing either."

"But he likes other people. I'm not interested in him anyway" Gabriel complained. A little while, he looked at me with a clamor, then hurriedly cleared his throat and continued his words. "I may not care about him, and maybe I already like other people - geez, why am I so confiding in you? Sorry, Schulz."

"Hey, it's okay. I can hear enough. For your first love story, I am so sorry. Be excited for your next story, okay?" my words were encouraging with two fists in front of my chest.

Maybe there's a good side to Lucile Elford I don't know about. Might as well. However, it could have been an effect like Frederick who almost managed to paralyze me in his drawings. I remember our meeting this morning.

In the end we continued talking about school. Until I realized Gabriel's vision had been shifted out of the classroom. He suddenly stopped the conversation with me.

"I'm sorry for interrupting your break. Looks like your friend from earlier wanted to meet you," Gabriel said before standing up and returning the chair he had worn out.

Following the class leader's gaze, I found Zoe peeking out from the front door of the classroom. Gabriel waved to Zoe, then told her to come in and let the girl approach me with a bag.

A hug enveloped me.

"Zoe" called me back with a hug from my best friend.

I didn't hear his voice other than a little sobbing from Zoe's mouth. The girl was crying and I felt her tears wash over my shoulder.

"Zoe, what's wrong with you?" manyworry.

"I'm sorry, Kim. You must have been surprised by our fight yesterday. You just left. I'm worried about you, especially if you've passed out. When I tried to call, your phone turned out to be in the bag," he said with difficulty.

I fell silent, then gently stroked his head. "Ah, that. It's okay, really. Ii'm sorry. But yesterday I went with Noah, so I feel safe."

"You're with Noah?" asked Zoe while letting go of her embrace to me.
