"Noah? Where are you?"
I was following Noah. Our goal is the same, namely the back garden, where the statue of the prince fairy is located. Max was waiting for us there. However, I did not find the figure of the guy either in the corridor outside the classroom or when I went down the stairs. Although careful, my steps are still in a hurry when the stairs are passing, lucky my feet do not slip. I could have the same fate as Noah who fell from a tree. Just imagining the pain, I couldn't.
Along my way to the back garden, there was still no figure of Noah entering the view.
Where exactly is that guy? It went quickly. Or. wait. Am I lost?
Sure enough, it was not the back area I was heading to, but rather a corridor that led to the other side of the school's core building. Outside the building is seen a fairly large pavilion that seems to be the center of student activities outside school hours.
I didn't realize I was at the door until someone from behind grabbed me. When I turned my head, a rude jolt filled my ears.
"Don't stand in front of dong's door!"
A girl with red hair was just scolding me. It looked sweet, but his expression was fierce. Judging from her style and demeanor, the girl looked tomboyish despite the graceful uniform of Fairille High School wrapped around her body. His waist-turning hand seemed ready to devour me all around with his anger.
"You heard no, huh?" jolt that girl again.
"Sorry," I said while pulling over.
Before the girl continued, her eyelids seemed to flicker towards me, as if she could not believe what she was seeing. But before long, he left. I didn't pay much attention and didn't care. The phone I had in my hand then used. I tried to contact Zoe who had no news since the break, but still no answer. I'm getting worried about him.
"Miss Schulz?" That soft but firm voice made me look. The guy I met the first time I visited school was approaching me. Her charming look and smile slowly melted me. "What are you doing here? Are you lost."
Leonal Ordt stopped right in front of me.
I nodded while smiling in shame. "This school is too big. I still haven't memorized."
"Want you to take me?" leonal offers.
"Ah, no need. I.can myself. Having a position as student leader must have kept you very busy," I refused subtly.
"Today there is no meeting, so I can relax a little. I'm looking for someone too, he can't be contacted. Maybe while I was driving you, I found it somewhere."
"I'm so grateful."
"No problem. Where are you going?"
"To the back garden of the school."
That handsome face looked surprised. However, Leonal did not ask further. The guy then shook his hand so I could walk first. It just makes me more stunned. Especially along the way, many disciples greeted him, especially the female disciples. Leonal Ordt is very popular. My somewhat dreamy eyes towards her hurriedly directed forward as Leonal realized it and smiled towards me.
Thanks for my stupidity, I'm getting nervous.
"Miss Schulz, what are you gonna do in the back garden? Sorry if my question is so bad. But as the Chief Disciple, I want to keep the students of this school because there is a ban on entering the forest."
Instantly I remembered that the place I was heading to was the place that would be our location to discuss a secret plan. Moreover, the figure beside me was the head disciple. Maybe our plan failed because I took this guy there. I couldn't answer Leonal's questions directly either. My memory then floated on the day that Leonal and I met for the first time.
"Fairy sculptor. I heard there was a fairy statue that looked like it was in front of the school, so I was curious" I said lying. "The first place we met, do you remember, Mr Ordt?"
"Of course I remember. You're curious about fairies, me too" replied Leonal.
"The park behind it is behind that door" Leonal said.
"Ah." I stopped, Leonal stopped too. An idea came into my head. "Thank you for driving me. Mr. Ordt, you've brought me here enough. You still have to find someone, right?"
"You're right. The man I was looking for wasn't found on our way here either." Leonal looks worried. His smile that had paused made me feel bad. "But after some thought, I can look for it again later. I hope you don't mind if I keep you company."
I should have known this was gonna happen. It was my folly to forget our supposed secret meeting. How could I possibly refuse someone's kindness, let alone Leonal Ordt already want to put aside his business to accompany me. I can think of another reason later when Leonal becomes aware of Max and Noah's whereabouts. The two guys who might be waiting for me should also be more brain-twisting.
"I don't mind. Thank you for being with me" I said in the end.
We then passed through the door and faced the back garden of the school. Just like the last time I came here, the atmosphere in this park is so beautiful, but also sad because it is not maintained - especially if you see how the statue of the fairy prince and his wings are broken. Leonal let me go first. Looking around, there was neither Max nor Noah. Did they come back to the dorms because I was too long?
"This park is no less beautiful than the one in front right? It's just unkempt" Leonal said.
"You're right" I answered briefly.
I sat by the pool and faced Leonal.
Leonal stretched her body. The man sat down beside me and looked up at the wide sky. The delight imprinted on her face so reminded me of the plain look of a child. "I haven't walked around so casually in a long time like this. The air here is fresher than the committee room."
"Being the Student Leader seems very busy huh, Mr. Ordt," I said in response.
"so. Lately it has been getting busy because there are celebrations and performances at the annual school event that will be held soon. I had to finish some preparations, but someone who used to help me disappeared somewhere. The other members have their own duties. Sorry, I'm the story."
"It's certainly not what. You've worked well, Mr. Ordt. You can tell me. If I could, I would help you too."
Leonal then looked at me. On that handsome face, not only his lips, his narrowed eyes smiled at me. Reminds me of the fairy prince statue behind us. Unfortunately, the look on the statue did not seem happy at all.
"I am happy for the kindness of your heart. Thank you, Miss Schulz. In addition to having a beautiful face, your heart is also charming," praised Leonal. "I want to get to know you better, right?"
My heart drop was so fast right when Leonal said that. I almost forgot that Leonal has a sweet mouth. His words always make me ge-er. Does it always do to every girl so she is popular with them? Back then, even in front of the school, if no one from the upper floors called Leonal, I would probably melt down and become entangled with her words of seduction. Now I'm just alone with Leonal.
Or am I just being too ge-er? Maybe Leonal just wanted to be friends, right?
"of course. We can be good friends." Right, I should answer it as natural as possible without showing my nervousness to her. "I didn't think a student leader would want to be my friend" I added with a slight joke.
The guy suddenly approached.
"Nobody doesn't want to get close to you, Miss Schulz." Leonal then raised her hand towards the top of my head. "Ah, can."
Apparently what he had just done was to take the petals of a flower that had been carried away by the wind and stop in my head. Leonel showed me the purple petals and gave them to me. I accepted it and looked at it with a gentle gaze, before then sticking it close to my lips so I could smell the fragrance.
Leonel continued to say.
"Even these flower petals. I'm really jealous of him."
