Secret Admirer; In The Land Of Fairies

Secret Admirer; In The Land Of Fairies
29. Under the Moonlight

"Of course I care."

Inside the huddle, a sudden calmness crept over me. The palm of Noah's hand that was above my head gently rubbed. My crying slowly stopped. Again, at this close distance, I was able to smell the distinctive musk on Noah's body. I even felt peace.

Seconds by seconds passed. Noah then led me to one of the niches near the fairy statue that leads to the outside of the building, precisely to the dark scenery behind the dormitory with moon decoration. There, we sat on a stone bench that followed the shape of a niche arch made by tall plants around.

“If you want to cry, just cry as much here. No one,” Noah said beside me.

I stared at him wordlessly, then rolled the eyeball over to the other side so as not to look at him anymore.

“What if I'm from McReych?" I said with a raspy voice. "You said I was just a city girl and I shouldn't be here. Is that wrong?”

Noah did not answer. Therefore I was also prettiest to return to face him and subconsciously raise my voice.

“Why didn't you answer?!” just pissed.

“Do you cry just because of that?” Instead of answering, Noah asked back.

Noah Huxley has it always been like this?

“You always switch the conversation, Noah. I need your answer." Both of my hands that were on top of my lap clenched tightly. "It's not just 'just'! Am I really wrong to be in Fairille?”

Without hesitation, Noah replied.

“Yes. You were wrong here.”

I was surprised by that answer. Too surprised, to the point that my eyes widened for a few jokes, before then the tears quickly infiltrated and fell back to the cheeks.

“You've always been good at helping me, but why is it inversely proportional to what comes out of your mouth, Noah?” I was unable to endure the overflowing emotions that were now a bulge of sadness. “After these two days I was lonely and I got the facts about my friends at McReych who really didn't want to be friends with me, didn't I deserve to be in Fairille?"

"Your friends threw you away?" asked Noah a little surprised.

"Yes! I tried to contact them again in our chat room, but their attitude changed drastically! They even took pictures together and looked happy during prom night at school!" my light still uses a high tone, making my breathing after it irregular.

My body leaned against the park bench, then my hands brushed off the trail of tears on my face. When I looked at the moon accompanied by dark clouds up there, I realized that the silvery rays made beautiful decorations. At least, the words that came out of my mouth next sounded softer. "Makanya, please, don't say that."

I smiled bitterly at Noah who was still looking at me without a gurgle.

"...Don't I tell you you can put me in one of them" Noah said, "—you can count on me."

"But your attitude sometimes makes me think that you hate me." I still maintain a smile on my lips. No more arguing with that guy.

"Kimberly, I'm …"

Surprisingly, Noah's voice softened, and the call? Kimberly, said. Sometimes I also hear him call my first name, but for now I feel Noah is not as usual.

The guy suddenly slashed the distance between us and grabbed one of my hands.

"...i can't take it anymore."

And those words.what does that mean?

I felt Noah's touch on my face, moved on my cheekbones and moved to my ears to hook the sticky strands of my hair from tears behind him.

"Don't cry anymore. I just want to protect you from them" Noah said in a low voice.

"They?" My eyes closed next to Noah's fingers, which wiped the trail of my tears. "Who?"

Noah lifted up my hand he was holding, then placed the wrist close to his lips. "That gives you this wound."

I gasp. Unexpectedly, Noah kissed my wrist the grip of the black shadow earlier. At first I just felt a cold-cold like ice-which got warmer and turned into a burning sensation. I was instantly sucked to the point that Noah's lips were still kissing.

"Stop it, Noah." My screams then came out stuck. "What are you doing?"

What the hell's going on?

I realized the pain and heat I felt a moment ago had suddenly disappeared. But I have no energy, I am exhausted. The fatigue felt so overwhelming that I could not get out of Noah's arms.

My head looks up. I looked at Noah with a glare. The guy still kisses my wrist with his eyes closed. When those sharp cold eyes opened and pointed at me, my heart started to beat irregularly. I was fascinated by the dark eyes, as well as the handsome look I had not realized was approaching me.

Until our breaths clashed and his lips gently pressed against my wet lips. A very sweet kiss without pressure, and without the usual hot moves in the movies I've seen at Mcflix, I've never felt before.

The look I saw for some time was only Noah's face was closed, and very close. His breath did not hunt, even seemed calm, compared to me who was stuck. Noah Huxley seemed to enjoy it, enjoy this kiss, enjoy the kiss between himself and me. I was too shocked to realize what was happening.

When Noah let go of my lips and I still felt the rest of the guy's touch there, I realized one thing.

First kiss! My first kiss was stolen by Noah Huxley!

I could speak nothing but touch the tip of my finger on my lips, the first touch of which Noah's lips had taken away. My hands tremble faintly. My ears are still hearing a beat that still does not want to be normal, even getting louder. When I saw Noah, he was covering his mouth with the back of his hand and looking the other way.

Under the light beam of the garden light, I could see that his face was red.

"Noah, why–"

"Your hands don't hurt anymore, do they?" noah said cut off my lot.

Then I realized that my wrist was no longer burning according to his words.

"L-yes," I answered. Could it be because we were nervous because we just had a kiss?

"Good then," said Noah.

I wanted to make a real protest sentence, but, in front of me, Noah was smiling warmly at me. It was something I had never seen before. If only I could, I'd like to look at that smile for longer and ask him why Noah treated me the way he did.

However, the fatigue was eating away at me and in less than a minute, I suddenly lost consciousness.

...***...

I woke up in my room. The sun outside the window had already started to crawl up. Realizing that, I sat down and found my clothes were still the same as last night - the moment of the appointment to meet Noah. When we met, I cried and cried with her. The guy kissed my wrist, then kissed my lips. Steal my first kiss.

My first kiss with Noah.

Wait, it wasn't a dream, was it?

I can still even feel the soft touch of Noah's lips that were left on my lips last night. It must not be a dream. Noah and I had a real kiss last night! I mean, Noah kissed me!

Pimply. The leaflet in my chest again exploded. My face warmed and my hands clasped each other in nervousness. It's not that I really like Noah, but anyone's daughter would definitely feel the same way if someone kissed her right?

Then after that incident, I was exhausted and somehow I lost consciousness. Wake up, it's morning and I'm in this room.

When I checked my phone notification, I realized that there was a new number sending me a message. Apparently it was Tom Graffen, who also called me a few times last night. I saw at the time, I was on the rooftop without a cell phone. Then another new number, Noah, was the one that embarrassed me in the first instant. But Noah's message was there, making me confused.

'It's me, Noah Huxley.'

'Did you sleep well? Last night, after we had a discussion about the preparation of the photoshoot, you suddenly fell asleep next to me. After some time, you woke up and decided to go back to my room.'

Wait for. Why is it different from my memory?

Didn't we promise to meet to discuss the wound on my wrist?

I ran to the bathroom and doused my hand with cold water, but there was no pain and burning on my wrist.

The black shadow and the kiss last night was it just a dream?
