The guy I delivered the favor just left. Obviously the guy was in pain and seemed to be hurt. I was glued to the spot, I don't know how many seconds. When I realized that someone was being unfriendly to me, my heart was instantly prettiest. Suddenly I feel angry.
Head turned. My irises rolled, following the figure that walked away from me. With quick steps, I tried to catch up and stopped in front of the guy.
"Why are you ignoring me?"
The guy's eyebrows are raised next door. The man who had stopped and stood before me was silent.
"You didn't answer me" I said impatiently. "You're hurt, aren't you?"
"You who?" In the end the guy made a sound. He looked at me from top to bottom and then up again, until his dark eyes looked back at me. "You're an outsider, not necessarily in this place. Go."
I bit my lips, got pissed. I can't reply to that guy because it's true, I'm an outsider. But, hey, wait. I just moved to this school and will be a new student. It means I'm not really an outsider.
"I'm the new kid at this school. I'm no longer an outsider."
"I don't care. Go there."
I'm certainly surprised by the attitude of the guy who's increasingly becoming.
"Why are you so rude?"
When the guy was about to pass me, I tried to stay in front of him.
"Soge away."
There was no emotion in the voice, flat and cold. But I'm still undaunted.
"No."
"Say, move aside."
It was only when I heard the pressure on his voice and I realized there was anger in his eyes that looked at me that I suddenly felt afraid.
"Noah Huxley."
The one who had just spoken was Tom who had suddenly stood beside me. Her friendly carrying, as well as the smile imprinted on the face somehow made me feel more relaxed. I also breathed a sigh of relief when I realized that the attention of the foreign man was no longer directed at me, but changed to Tom.
"No" said the cold man suddenly.
"What's? I haven't said anything!" tom's protest at his interlocutor.
"alright. See you soon."
"Wait, Noah! I need your help!"
Noahs. So, a guy with black-hair, eyes, even his aura, uh-it's called Noah. Noah Huxley, right? I just realized that Tom already mentioned the full name of the cold guy.
"I told you. No "
"I haven't said what I mean. Be my photo model for the photography competition held by the school."
"No."
"Oh, come on, Noah~ you always refuse my request." This time Tom held Noah's hand, apparently not wanting to let the boy named Noah go. "We are friends."
I just watched them talk. Even though they seem to have the opposite nature, it seems like they are indeed friends.
"Take my hand off. We're not friends."
...or not?
Tom pressed his hand against Noah's. He did not want to let go and continued to beg, even in the next minute when Noah was about to turn away. Tom held Noah's hand until he almost squatted down.
When that happened, was it like I heard a bone ringing, or the friction of a tree branch near them when the wind blew it? I'm not sure what.
"No! You are my best friend! I won't let you refuse to be my model this time! You're the only one who can help me, Noah!" Tom Whine.
This time Noah was silent. Not a single answer came out of his mouth. I noticed that Noah's face was slowly turning pale, and there were also droplets of sweat hacking.
"Noah? Why are you keeping quiet? Oh, I know! You must have changed your mind and become my model, right?" Tom who cheered cheerfully laughed. "Your hands are cold like this."
Instantly, I realized something was wrong.
"Uh-oh, Tommy? Let go of his hand" I said hesitantly.
Gently, I guided Tom to release his hand from Noah. Noah's expression that seemed to be holding something back convinced me even more.
"You need to get your hands checked, Noah," I suggested to her.
Noah looked at me for a moment, and to my surprise, I realized that there was warmth in his eyes.
Without saying anything, Noah went into the school building. Tom and I looked at his back that was moving away and just let it go. Although I could not see clearly, Noah seemed to wipe one of his hands that had been held by Tom. From there I was more convinced, if anything went wrong with Noah's hand.
"Tommy. I think you should accompany Noah. I'm worried if his hand breaks."
"G-wet. Not because I tried to hold him back. How's this, Kimmy?" tom panicked.
"Calm yourself. It might have been because he fell from the tree."
"Uhs. He likes to sit on a tree to avoid me. But I didn't think she'd fall and hurt herself like that" Tom said. The guy was going to follow Noah. "I think you're right, Kimmy. I have to see how he is. Do you want to come with me?"
I'm shaking.
"I'm afraid he'll be distracted by my presence. Maybe you'd better, Tommy."
"All right then." Before moving his foot further, Tom stopped and turned to look at me. "Actually, Noah was a good person, despite his attitude like that. I hope you don't hate him, Kimmy."
Hearing Tom's words, I became stunned and smiled.
"I don't hate him. Thank you, Tommy."
"No, no. Thank ye. I'll see you again when you're a lawful student. See yes, Kimmy!"
I delivered Tom's departure with a smile and a wave of hands. The birds squeaking over each other then caught my attention. I looked up, looking at the charming blue sky with a white tinge up there. Then I looked at the forest behind the school.
The forest, how interesting my heart is. I wonder about the forest.
But why am I curious? I didn't really think there would be a fairy prince there, did I?
I shook my head vigorously, hoping that such a ridiculous thought would immediately leave my brain. I felt like I was really stupid to expect to meet a prince there, when it all just started from a dream!
I don't want to feel the sadness that the princess feels anyway.
That's really stifling.
Suddenly I felt my phone ring. Apparently it was an incoming call from Zoe. I hurriedly lifted it up.
"Hello."
"Kim! Where the hell have you been? I've been looking for you!" Across the phone, there was a worried voice of Zoe. I couldn't help him but just laugh. Moreover, it turns out that Zoe still has not finished her sentence. "I've replied to your chat, but you've never returned it. Neither did you pick up my phone."
"Ah, I'm sorry, Zoe. Really am. I didn't realize there was a phone coming in."
"That's it. It's okay, the most important thing is that I've heard your voice again. Where are you now?"
"I'm in the park behind the school. Actually I was lost and I suddenly got here."
"What?!"
"Why is that?"
"Wait there! Don't go anywhere! I'll pick you up soon!"
Tut's.
The phone disconnected, leaving me confused by Zoe's words. After I checked the notification, it was true, there were dozens of chat and incoming calls from Zoe, but I did not pick up. I was totally unconscious.
What I can do now means just waiting for Zoe. So I waited for him near the dry pool where I was the model.
I looked at the statue of the fairy prince.
"Prince..."
How unfortunate your fate is. I hope I can help you find the daughter you love so much.
