Secret Admirer; In The Land Of Fairies

Secret Admirer; In The Land Of Fairies
16. The Forest Gate Border

"Even these flower petals. I'm really jealous of him."

Instantly my face flushed. The petals of the flower that I had previously kissed just fell on my lap. My gaze could not be separated from Leonal who smiled at me.

What do all the words mean?

No longer able to face, I returned my body forward and hooked the strands of my hair behind my ears. My lips are embarrassed. I don't want to look at him any more. I'm pretty sure Leonal is trying to tease me. Aren't guys that typical?

"You're overreacting, Mr. Ordt. Do you always say such words to a girl?"

Leonel's crisp laughter then tickled the ears. That guy knows how to pull my attention back.

"I'm just expressing my heart, Miss Schulz." Then he glanced at the fairy prince statue behind us. "I envy her too. You're here because you want to see this statue, right?"

I didn't answer, there was only a clamor that controlled the body. Actually it is. There was a lot of longing present, and I wanted to meet the fairy prince statue.

The figure of the statue is still the same as the last time I met. So sad and fragile. If only I could, I would hug her and comfort her. But alas, the figure was not real and only man-made. It was so real that I felt its misery.

Oh, fairy prince.

I don't know what makes me think about it almost always.

There, outside the gate that was connecting the back garden and the forest, a long-goal rang out the sound of people talking. Leonal beside me stood glaring at the forest in the distance. By concentrating, it seemed like he was trying to hear more clearly. Before the man walked away, he took the time to talk to me.

"Do you hear people talking?"

Of course, I replied with a headband. My mind immediately floated on the two people who were probably waiting for me earlier. If the source of the sound comes from Max and Noah, they could be in trouble and our plans to explore the threatened forest are void.

"You wait here. I want to check if there are students there or not" Leonal said.

I tried to stop Leonal by telling her the possibility that the guy had misheard her, even when my hand was reflexively holding his arm and I pretended that it was the sound of a beast. That doesn't work at all. Leonal smiled sweetly at me.

"I'm glad you're worried about me, Miss Schulz. But take it easy, there are no wild animals here."

I couldn't speak anymore, especially when I realized the voice of one of the people talking was getting louder - which I believed was Noah's voice.

Jesus, Noah, that's so stupid!

Forcibly, I followed Leonal as he ran towards the source of the sound outside the gate. Not wanting to be left behind, I also ran even though the surface of the road we passed was no longer intact like it was first made. My prudence had an impact on the luck, my pantofel smooth leaving flat rocks on it. When we got to the right point of the gate, we could find the figure of a guy with glasses with his hands resting on a tree trunk.

"Well?" said Leonal.

Leonal's response to Noah Huxley's presence in the view made my eyebrows bend. I can't believe they know each other, even seem familiar. Noah simply raised his free hand lazily. However, when Leonal was in front of Noah, he seemed surprised by something that wrapped his friend's hand.

"God! What happened to your hand, Noah?" ask Leonal worried. From the cast in Noah's hand, Leonal's attention shifted to Noah's seemingly indifferent face. Being cared for by a friend like that should make Noah happy. Ah, suddenly I miss Zoe who didn't tell me. "You should have disappeared the last three days" Leonal continued.

"Something ridiculous happened" Noah replied, then glanced at me for a moment, "making me fall from the tree."

Somehow because of Noah's eye glancing at me, I got upset. As if I was the cause of her falling. Though obviously I did not bother him and instead I offered help. He's the one who doesn't care about me and just leaves.

"Is this a threatening thing? But I can explain" I said with a smile and shrugged both my shoulders simultaneously.

Leonal then seemed to realize something.

"Wait, Borsche. Don't tell me you still intend to go into the woods" Leonal guessed on target.

Max smiled meaningfully. "That's right, but take it easy, I already have a team" Max said proudly.

"Jeez, Borsche. Did you take Noah and Miss Schulz along?" ask Leonal make sure. To answer Leonal's question, Max merely gave a smile. The student leader then gave a look of disbelief to me and Noah in turn. "Noah, you... Miss Schulz, you too?"

Noah threw his face away, while I felt bad for Leonal for not saying my purpose to the real back garden. But how else? At first I kept this meeting a secret. It's just that Max's intention to go to the forest is already known by Leonal. From where I stood, I could catch Leonal's disappointed look at me.

"I'm sorry, Mr. Ordt. You know, if I'm curious about fairies, that's why I'm interested in these woods. Oh, but I hope you keep this a secret," I said a little diplomacy.

The guy with a pin that says 'Chairman Disciple' on his chest seemed to be thinking - I just realized there was a pin!- as well as confusion.

"Why don't you come with us?" max says offer.

"really. Aren't you interested in fairies, Mr Ordt? We can look for him together" I told Leonal.

Leonal seems to be getting confused. It seems he did not expect to be invited to participate. "You know, there's a department I have to answer for. I shouldn't have allowed you, let alone go in there," Leonal said in a slightly lethargic manner. I think again, maybe that guy actually wanted to take part.

"Then, pretend you don't know" Noah said, eventually opening his voice.

"Noah..You are my representative..Why are you coming too?" leonal said in disbelief.

Waita minute. What I just heard, isn't wrong, is it? Noah Huxley was a representative of the Leonal Ordt. The one who liked to suddenly appear and suddenly leave was the number two person on the student committee. Perhaps, he was also the same person that Leonal was looking for earlier. Doesn't that mean Noah Huxley is a pretty important person?

I looked at Noah. This bespectacled figure did indeed remind me of the person who called Leonal from the 2nd floor window during my first meeting with Leonal.

"I have business there" replied Noah.

"Rushan?" many spontaneous.

"You don't need to know, Schulz," said Noah flatly.

It was very upset to hear Noah's cold reply. Makes me squint displeased eyes at him.

"Basic. I don't want to know why either" I said as I closed my side and rolled my eyes the other way. No more looking at Noah.

"Hey, Noah. Did the wound on your hand make you rough with a girl?" Leonal rejoined the conversation. It was as if he did not accept Noah's attitude towards me. "wait. Maybe because I've been asking you for help so you're depressed, and then your nature changes?"

Max laughed from up there. The limb he was sitting on shook, and it worried me. He can fall at any time if he is not careful-inadvertently removing the handrails or branches that can be broken because they cannot withstand the action. The muscular guy then blinked his eyes side by side and hinted at the presence of someone who would join them in a moment with a twitch of the head.

"I knew you were coming. Come here." Come here."
