“Log in! Don't try to escape!”exclaimed a large-bodied uluwero at Anaru.
His body was then thrown into a shabby room without any light. The only torch was outside the room, where several uluwero guards stood. Bamboo bars became a barrier to the dark room with other rooms. Some dry straw seemed to be scattered on the floor.
The fallen Anaru was then locked up in there without understanding what was happening. His wounds had not been treated, but even so it did not feel too painful.
“Damn it!” swear Anaru while punching the ground.
“Happy in prison, Anaru?” suddenly I hope to appear at the door of the room Anaru is imprisoned.
“Fuck you, Hope! What are you planning?” yelling Anaru growled furiously.
I smirked triumphantly. “Certainly destroy you, slave boy. You think you deserve to be uluwero?”
Anaru roared furiously, then charged towards Kaharap. But the bamboo bars held back his movements. Anaru had also run out of energy to be able to destroy the huge bamboo that locked him up.
“Damn it! You slandered me!” sergah Anaru was full of anger.
“I didn't do it, a lot of people watched you make strange moves while fighting. It is clearly not a human movement. I'm just offering a reasonable reason behind the weirdness. The only possible answer is that you are possessed by an Evil Spirit,” said Kaharap smiling cunningly.
“What makes you hate me so much, I hope?” ask Anaru while grinding her teeth holding back the anger.
I hope to laugh out loud in response to Anaru's question. “I don't hate you, Anaru. I'm just having fun with you. Didn't you enjoy it?” kaharap said then back to the open.
“Bonch bastard... I will reply... I will definitely avenge all your deeds...” murmured Anaru with eyes gleaming full of hatred.
One night went by in prison. The next morning, Anaru was woken up with a shower of cold water on his body. An uluwero was already inside his cell, carrying a wooden bucket. Anaru blinked in surprise.
“Build! Today you will be judged!” exclaim uluwero then bind both hands Anaru with a powerful mine.
Anaru was then paraded towards the village square. At the end of the field, the Chieftain's throne complete with various ornaments of bird feathers, has been upright standing. Princess Aroha sat on her throne as dozens of villagers stood around the field, trying to watch the rare occurrence.
Anaru was thrown into the middle of the field with his hands tied. He was forced to his knees by two uluwero men who dragged him. Anaru circulated his glance. On one side of the field, looking striking with the dominant color of white, Airyung stood with an anxious face.
Next to Airyung, Anaru also saw Ngaio as well as his matu and uma. Anaru was immediately embarrassed. He hated himself that day. His dream to go home with the status as uluwero must run aground. Instead, now both parents just have to watch their children who are useless to be sick at the trial.
“Explain the state of this young man,” Princess Aroha's voice blabbed in the middle of the audience's coffers. People immediately fell silent. Silence then enveloped the place.
An uluwero came before Princess Aroha and began to explain the situation.
“In the incident, at least six kinokambe gathered to prey on the residents. Three kinokambe successfully paralyzed by the uluwero with the help of a stranger Giyatsa tribe..”.
Anaru snorted softly. It must be only Airyung that destroyed those three kinokambe. Think Anaru in heart. He then refocused on listening to the sentence uluwero.
“The other three tails, allegedly defeated by this young man, Anaru,” concluded the uluwero ending his explanation.
Princess Aroha looked frowned. His stern compass exuded an expression full of question marks.
“If he managed to defeat the kinokambe, why was he imprisoned until he had to be dragged to the trial?” ask him later.
“The problem is, some witnesses saw Anaru perform an unusual martial movement. Some swore to see this young man fly, darting fast, until he disappeared and moved at an unreasonable speed. All of its movements are similar to those of the very fast kinokambe.
“More, the new Anaru showed that ability seconds after a kinokambe pounced on it. One reliable witness said that he saw the kinokambe entering into the body of Anaru,” said the uluwero while glancing at Kaharap.
Anaru swore in heart. It was clearly he who had saved Kaharap from the kinokambe's shock. And even Anaru wiped out the Evil Spirit with his dagger, before Kaharap's eyes. But what did he say? Possession? How ridiculous! Anaru regretted saving Kaharap. Knowing this he should have let Kaharap die in kinokambe's prey.
“I've never heard that kinokambe can possess humans,” said Princess Aroha. He then turned his gaze towards Anaru.
“Do you have kinokambe?” asked Princess Aroha without further ado.
“No, Princess. I obliterated the kinokambe with my own hands. Not a single tail entered my body. Kinokambe should prey on humans, not possess them,” replied Anaru confidently.
As soon as his sentence was finished, the crowd's ragged voice started to sound again. One of the spectators came forward and spoke in a loud voice. Of course that person is none other than Kaharap.
“Then explain to us your super fast ability. That power is impossible for ordinary humans to have,” said Kaharap seemed satisfied with his words.
Anaru clenched his teeth angrily hearing Kaharap's accusation. He glanced at Kaharap with a very strong killing gaze. But Princess Aroha was waiting for her answer. Inevitably Anaru had to hold back his anger once more.
“That power, presented itself when my life was threatened. Nor do I know where that power comes from. Everything just happens,” replied Anaru honestly.
The sound of the audience getting louder. Some sided with Anaru, but many were afraid of him. They continued to speak and voice their opinions until Princess Aroha finally let out a loud voice that instantly made everyone speechless.
“This young man does have a suspicious strange power. Even so, he is still credited with eliminating three kinokambe in one night. An ability that even the best uluwero Khitai does not have,” Princess Aroha said with her usual charismatic voice.
“I won't decide this issue now. Should this young man be punished or rewarded? I will call the ascetic Tribal Elder in the Eastern Forest for his advice. In the meantime, let this young man be in prison. I will announce his decision after meeting with the Tribe Elders,” concluded Princess Aroha who then stood up from her throne. He turned around, returned to his home.
The crowd of spectators spread out. People started talking while pointing at Anaru. On the other hand, Anaru was again taken by two uluwero men back to prison, waiting for what fate would befall him after this.
