The next morning Chiara was back to settle down in the morning. Her mother would probably wake up in thirty minutes to start cooking for her family. Before she becomes her mother's errand boy and has to get stuck in the kitchen, Chiara must get out of the house immediately.
Chiara was about to touch the door handle when suddenly her mother's voice was heard calling her name from the second floor. Chiara cursed inwardly, then hurriedly opened the front door of her house, without caring for the creaking sound that broke the silence that morning. Chiara slipped away without looking back. The streets were still quiet and a thin mist enveloped. The cold weather rattled and made Chiara close her thin clothes.
Behind his back, suddenly the door of his house opened again, raising the face of the mother who immediately shouted to call his name. Chiara did not turn her head at all, decided to pretend not to hear her mother's screams and instead walked faster through the still quiet city. Chiara's mother finally gave up and let her daughter go without saying goodbye. Maybe he'll see Rein again. And of course it's not a big deal at all. It was only good that Chiara could be close to the son of the sole heir to the wealthy auction house.
Chiara is certainly not as thoughtful as her mother. For Chiara, such a relationship was not a priority. Love is just a temporary sensation that only makes a person's life more complicated. The human heart is volatile, and Chiara doesn't believe in such relationships at all. For him, the most important thing was money and wealth. If you have money, you can do whatever you want. There is therefore nothing more important to Chiara than the pursuit of wealth.
After walking for a while through the cold, Chiara arrived at the place she was aiming for. The sun is peering in the eastern horizon. The sky was still pale covered in thick clouds that seemed to indicate the coming rain later. Chiara was only wearing a shabby thin dress that was already a bit small. The back door was hidden in a dark alley bordering another building, completely invisible to ordinary people.
Chiara reached into her pocket and found a small key to open the door. Without lingering, the girl stuck her keys and the door opened. The backwoods section of the antique shop is a warehouse that stores the most expensive objects in the place. Usually these objects are not displayed in outdoor storefronts because they are specifically sold at auction.
Chiara split the room carefully without causing much noise. The shop is closed and quiet. The girl immediately darted towards the secret room to change clothes and put on her disguise. Suddenly a lazy moan sounded as soon as Chiara closed the secret door. It felt like Chiara's heart was about to jump out so surprised.
“You came in the morning once? Is it safe to travel at this hour? Diabos may still be wandering outside. The next time you can get out of the house after the sun has really risen perfectly,” muttered a voice that sounded like just woke up.
Chiara, who finally managed to control herself, turned to the center of the room and found Rein sitting on a long sofa with both eyes narrowed because the morning air was too painful for a newly awakened person. A thick blanket of goose feathers covered half of his body, while the young man's hair was still disheveled. Chiara walked over while taking a deep breath.
“Why did you sleep in the store? Didn't your father look for you?” ask Chiara who immediately visited her dressing table which has a large oval glass.
“I feel guilty for your mother because of last night. He was worried about you, but I lied to him. So I want to know how you really do at that casino. By the way I'm serious about the diabos. This hour is still prone to diabos attacks,” said Rein seriously.
“As long as there is sunlight, as thin as anything, there will be no diabos that dare to appear, Rein. You know that too. Stop nagging like my mom,” protest Chiara who has started dressing up thickly.
“Basic stubbornness,” murmured Rein while rising from the sofa. Rubbing his head, the young man started walking to the bathroom. “I have to dress up like what to get in the casino? Although my money is a lot, but I never get in there,” Rein continued innocently.
Chiara stared at Rein with a dramatic expression. “Where are you going?” tanyanya could not believe it.
“Casino. With you. Why?” Rein asked without guilt.
Chiara immediately frowned as if Rein's words were the most disturbing sentence she had ever heard. “For what? Don't act weird, Rein,” said Chiara while grieving.
“What's the problem? I'm not gonna bother you. I also want to try the taste of gambling. I've got enough money to do it,” Rein chimed in while ruffled around the waist.
“Just take care of your own business, Rein. Don't bother me,” sigh Chiara tired.
“How can I not take care of you while you always involve me in this lying scenario? At least if I see how you work, I can decide to support you or not in the future,”.
“So you're threatening me now?” challenge Chiara was getting annoyed.
“Whatever how you want to understand my words,” said Rein while shrugging. “I will follow you like a ghost, even if you try to prevent. This is my responsibility to your parents,” said Rein who then continued his steps towards the bathroom.
“Desolid basis,” umpat Chiara furious.
