Suffering

Suffering
Chapter 13

Kevin threw his ass on the maroon-red long sofa. His hand grabbed the phone lying on the round table. With deft hands it pressed down on every number and letter on the phone's keyboard screen.

A split second later, a smile appeared on Kevin's lips when someone he contacted picked him up.

"Who is this? Why did you call me? Is there anything important? This who?" The heavy and slightly hoarse voice asked from behind the phone.

Kevin quietly did not answer, his mouth still seemed to grin with both eyes that occasionally glanced at the bed Alicia was lying.

"Is this a misalignment? I'll shut it!"

"No! It's me!" Kevin finally spoke up. The voice from behind the phone started to go silent, only the sound of breathing was heard this time.

"Hello Mr. Guren. Is this really from Master Guren?" kevin asked, his mouth grinning widely.

"really. This who? Your voice I've heard. Have we met before?"

"Oh, maybe we've met. But I don't know, but maybe you can remember it again."

"Who are you? What's the need for me? Why do you know my name?"

"Calm Mister. I just wanted to talk to you about your beautiful only daughter. If it's not her name, Alicia isn't it?" His mouth again grinned, seemingly satisfied with his words that made Guren hold his breath.

"Who are you! Don't try to hurt my daughter!"

"God ... You care so much about your daughter. But, have you never thought about your other child?"

"What are you trying to talk about! Who are you really?" Guren's voice began to rise, but Kevin seemed to enjoy it.

"Calm Mister. I just want you to turn yourself in to the Police, confess your crime to Mr. Gravil."

"Who are you? Why do you know him? Are you his son? And how can you be sure that I committed a crime against him?"

"Don't dodge it again, sir. I know you're the mastermind behind Mr. Gravil getting shot. Even the people who had shot Mr. Gravil had spoken up.

Do I need to show you the tape?" His mouth was satisfied.

"What would you do if I refused to turn myself in to the police?" Guren's voice returned slowly, his breathing seemed to be stingy.

"How yes. If you don't want to turn yourself in to the police. Then I'll make sure you never meet your only daughter."

"Why do you want to help him? Is it true that you're a child of her?"

"Don't ask much, sir. Once this phone is closed, I will not use this number again. So you better think again.

Because now your daughter is with me."

The phone is closed. Kevin shoots Alicia, then sends it to Guren before he takes his cell phone card. Destroy the card, then throw it away.

"Hah .. it feels good to make her worry and panic. But this was all just the beginning, Mr. Guren. Just wait how I'm going to continue this drama" Kevin muttered after installing a new card on his phone.

Kevin looked back. Alicia was still lying on the bed with her eyes still tightly closed. Kevin glanced at the kitchen knife on the table, then his hand grabbed the kitchen knife.

He walked slowly closer to Alicia. He reached out a hand holding the kitchen knife right in front of Alicia's face. A smile on his lips.

"Just calm down, Mr. Guren. He'll be safe as long as you follow what I want. But if you don't do what I tell you to." Kevin drew the knife he held close to Alicia's neck. "I will make him go away from this world forever."

"I can't let my daughter do anything. I have to sacrifice, I have to turn myself in to the police.

I don't want my daughter to do anything," Guren muttered as he struck her palm on the table, causing the half-large palm to give off a thick red liquid.

His hand grabbed the cell phone lying on the table. Try to call the number that threatened him. But that number is no longer connected.

"Damn! He's no ordinary man. Anything he can do to hurt my daughter. I can't be reckless."

Guren then contacted some of his men. Tell him to find Alicia, his only daughter. About five burly men who previously seemed to be enjoying a cool night at the bar. They instantly moved to fulfill the task given by their Master.

A pair of eyes seemed to blink when sunlight entered the room through the glass wall, to make a smooth white face was glare. Alicia raised her left hand in front of her face to cover the glare of the sun while getting up.

"God ..." Alicia rubbed her eyes with the back of her hand when the room looked foreign in front of her, a spacious room of elite class, but felt foreign to her.

"This ... hotel?"

Alicia was stuck and immediately pulled the thick blanket to cover her body when both her ears caught the footsteps from outside the door.

But Alicia began to pull the thick blanket when the door opened, Kevin's figure came with two black plastic bags in both hands.

"Good morning, Alicia. How, what's your good sleep?" kevin asked, putting the black plastic on the table.

There is food and drink in it. With a deft hand it prepared everything on the table. Alicia got out of bed, her face looked dazed.

"Kevin, why am I here?" ask Alicia. He sat his ass on the sofa next to Kevin.

"Did you forget. You slept last night. Keep me taking you to my hotel room here."

"So, did you buy this hotel room?" ask Alicia.

"really. I actually want to buy an apartment. But it feels better that I book this hotel room just in case I don't sleep at home."

"Sorry, I've been troubling you. And thank you for letting me sleep here." Alicia smile. His hand grabbed the back of Kevin's hand, his eyes staring at the young man's eyes in front of him fixedly.

"Don't worry. Anyway ...." Kevin gently stroked the back of Alicia's hand, making the girl misbehave.

"I want you to stay here for a while. I want to be closer to you again." Kevin smiled, making Alicia's heart soften.

"really? Do you mind?"

"Of course not. You want to take my heart, right? Perhaps with this my heart will be able to open for you."

"Thank you! I'm really happy. I really love you, Kevin!" Alicia grabbed onto Kevin's body, hugging him tightly.

Kevin stroked Alicia's back gently. But behind his gentle treatment, a smile appeared on Kevin's lips.

'Looks like my plan will go according to plan. But maybe I can guess what Mr. Guren would do, or rather my father did.'
