The expanse of land with green grass shows a lot of objects to play, such as a swing, seesaws, or even a place for sloshing was there. The sky still looks bright even though the orange color almost covers the sky, the blazing sun is getting back in place to rest.
The pair of hands appeared to be carrying a lot of black plastic bags. One of the plastic bags there are several kinds of green vegetables, also tomatoes and carrots were there. His purple eyes looked at some small children who looked cool playing in the park.
It was eager for the two feet to step forward, joining the happy-looking little ones. But the eye that glanced at the many black plastic bags forced itself not to step forward. He broke the intention of joining them, then turned around, walked away in the opposite direction to the park.
Occasionally his eyes glanced at the park and the little children with a pushy gaze, then turned back to his straight-forward gaze.
'I have to accept this harsh reality. Keep moving forward, don't look!'
Arriving home, Kevin took off his sandals and was about to enter the house. The room is as usual, cluttered and minimal lighting. This time there were so many broken plates and glasses strewn across the floor. Kevin spread his eyes around all the corners of the room, there was nothing but broken glasses and plates.
"Mother ...."
Remembering the Mother. Kevin rushed to the kitchen. The scented smell of scorching food was smelled as Kevin arrived in the kitchen. On the stove there is a skillet with food there that looks black, charred. The stove was left to stay lit, a puff of exorbitant-scented smoke drifting through the air.
Kevin circled his gaze to a corner of the other room, he saw Madya his mother seemed to be sitting on the floor leaning against the wall. The look of his face was chaotic, occasionally his right hand scratched his own left arm to let out a thick red liquid.
"What are you doing!" Kevin grabs both hands of the mother, holding her tightly. His eyes seemed to be shaking, water droplets coming out of the corner of the eye.
"Why. Why did your father leave Mom!" madya exclaimed, her teeth looked crackling, her face was red.
Kevin remained silent, his face down. He wiped the tears in the corner of his eyes with the back of his hand, then held back his hand and stroked the hands of the mother who already looked a little wrinkled.
"Mom, I'm always here with Mom. Kevin's never gonna leave Mom." Kevin stretched out his hands, grabbed the body of the mother, hugged her tightly.
Madya clenched her lower lip, her teeth were clenching. Both hands hit Kevin's back, then pushed him all his strength, causing Kevin to sit on the floor.
"I don't need you! You are just a bastard child!" exclaim Madya. Kevin was wide-eyed, unable to believe what came out of his mother's mouth.
Kevin got up, his hands outstretched, about to grab the body of the mother. But Madya violently pushed Kevin's body back, causing him to crash into the kitchen table. The glass and plate on the table fell as the table shook, almost the glass and the plate were about to hit Kevin in the head.
But the little boy managed to escape. Madya stood up and walked into her room. Kevin was still sitting quietly leaning at the foot of the table, his hands trembling. His eyeballs trembled, the warm water back out of the corner of the eye.
Kevin hugged his own body, hugging both knees. "I really just want to make Mom smile. But why ...." Kevin did not continue his words.
Kevin was about to get up, but his left hand accidentally touched the broken plate and glass. Kevin grimaced in pain, he raised his left hand. There was a thick red liquid continuously dripping onto the floor from his left hand.
Kevin entered the room while holding his left hand which continued to emit a thick red liquid, never stopping. He opened the cupboard, took the p3k medicine and wrapped his hands in a bandage.
"Why doesn't Mom like me so much? What's wrong?" After the bandaging of his right hand, Kevin sat on the floor leaning at the foot of the bed.
His eyes look puffy, until a little swollen on his eyelids. As much as she could, she held back her tears from coming out. In fact, it was difficult to do when he recalled the scathing words of the Mother.
* * *
The sky was bright and still showed a little bit of the sky. The sun is rising, revealing its light that feels warm.
A pair of hands looked deftly sauteing herbs and vegetables, putting them in a frying pan on the stove with medium heat. After preparing his cooking on the table, Kevin stepped away, about to enter the room to prepare.
"Kevin will get ready and go to school" said Kevin, his tone slightly trembling.
"Don't school! There is no point in you going to school. Do you think with school our lives will be able to change?
Better now you quickly clean the house, mop the floor and sweep until clean. It's also a washed dirty plate." Madya sat down at the dinner table, started eating the food that Kevin had prepared.
Kevin was silent. His eyes stared blankly at the mother. Both of his hands clenched tightly, slightly trembling. He stepped closer to the mother, looking at her blankly and saying.
"Kevin wants school! Kevin wants to change lives! Kevin wants to change my life! Kevin wants you to be happy." Even though his eyes were staring blankly. But clearly the eyeball seemed to tremble, holding back his tears from coming out.
Madya stopped eating, the spoon she was holding threw until it hit the wall. Kevin flinched, but his eyes were still blankly staring at the mother.
Madya turned her head, looking at Kevin coldly as she said, "If you want me to be happy." Madya brought her face closer, looking at Kevin with her eyeballs that stood out. "Bring me to your father. You can, right?"
"I'm ...." Kevin can't say anymore. His throat seemed to be unable to compromise. Both of his hands were trembling, cold sweat drenching his cheeks.
"Why silence? You can't." Madya stood up, leaving enough food on the plate.
"Wait, Mommy!" Kevin grabbed the mother's hand, his eyes glazed over.
"Kevin just wants Mom to be happy. But Kevin couldn't grant Mom's request. Kevin doesn't even know where Dad is now."
"Then." Madya crouched down, staring at Kevin coldly. "Make your father suffer. What happened to you was your father's fault." Madya held onto both of Kevin's shoulders, holding them tightly, making them shake.
"Gp ...." Kevin slips.
"really. Make your father suffer. Find him and avenge your father. He's the one who made me suffer. I want him to suffer too." His eyes seemed to tremble, Madya who had always looked at Kevin with a cold gaze, now the eyes seemed to glaze over at the single son in front of him.
Madya then stood up, stepping into the room. Kevin was still standing speechless, his eyes staring blankly before him.
"Revenge, yes." Kevin tilted his head, his eyes staring blankly back.
When Kevin was about to enter the room, suddenly a voice sounded like someone was hitting the wall in the room Mother. Kevin stopped at the doorway of his room, he sharpened his hearing.
The voice still sounded quite clear. Then Kevin walked closer to the door of the mother's room, he ventured to knock on the door.
"Mother, what's wrong? Is Mom okay?"
Silence, there was no voice of the mother answering. Kevin was starting to look angry. He gulped, let out a long sigh and then ventured to open the room door.
Kevin's eyes widened, he stood staring in the mother's room. His eyeballs trembled, cold sweat drenching his face and both hands.
"Mother!" Kevin shouted, his body still standing looking at what was in front of him.
A rope seems to hang on the roof ceiling. The rope snared the neck of the female figure who was none other than Madya, Kevin's mother. His body was hanging from the roof ceiling, his neck seemed to be reddened due to the tightness of the rope.
