05 January 2031 ...
The shiny golden door handle moved, a few seconds later the door was wide open. The figure of a middle-aged man was standing in the doorway. His eyes looked around, looking at every dirty thing that might be chuckling on the floor. But a spacious room with a set of beds that look clean without the slightest dirt.
Then the middle-aged man circulated his gaze at the figure of the man's body still lying on the thickly covered bed.
The middle-aged man shook his head lightly, his mouth smiling faintly as he stepped closer to the front glass door of the balcony. Opening the glass door, the breeze went straight inside, slightly shaking off the thick blanket. Kevin began to open his eyes, so he saw the figure of a middle-aged man standing in front of him, looking polite.
He blinked his eyes, spreading his gaze at all corners of the room. Morning sunlight now began to enter the room, making his eyeballs look glare. His right hand covered the face exposed to the sunlight.
"Good morning, Young Master." The middle-aged man whose hair had turned white, his whiskers who was also whitened bowed politely, his name was Carlos.
Kevin just shut up. He pulled out his thick blanket, stood up and grabbed a towel and went into the bathroom. Carlos smiled faintly and then began to tidy up Kevin's bed. Folded neatly over a thick blanket, also preparing Kevin's school uniform. Everything was ready when Kevin after the bath, his jet black hair still looked wet, a few drops of water from the strands of hair dripped onto the floor.
"After getting ready Young Master can go to the table room. The Master and Madam are waiting for you." Once again Carlos bowed politely, then stepped away leaving Kevin's room.
The young man was still silent. Both his eyes rolled lazily looking at Carlos' increasingly invisible back. Kevin then dries his hair, then wears a uniform.
After tidying up his slightly messy black tie, Kevin then grabbed his backpack, carrying it behind his back while stepping out of the room towards the dining room.
The Father and Mother spread their sweet smiles as Kevin went down the stairs, then stood in front of the two of them with a flat expression. Not to forget Kevin bowed his body politely to both parents, then sat on the dining table chair.
"Good morning, Kevin. How did you sleep last night?" kirana asked, her face beaming, while Gravil smiled as he ate his meal.
"Your silence" replied Kevin briefly. He then began to eat fresh bread with chocolate jam, as well as a glass of milk that still appears to be reflecting thin smoke in the air.
Kevin only ate one loaf of bread and drank part of a full glass of warm milk. Then Kevin stood up after gracefully wiping the traces of milk still attached to the corner of his lips with a tissue.
"Are you leaving already?" ask Kirana. He stood up, justifying Kevin's slightly slanted tie.
"Yes" he answered briefly.
"Be careful, Kevin. Learn the right thing, I'll wait for your return." Kirana smiled, looking at Kevin with slightly trembling eyeballs.
"Kevin, Carlos will take you," said Gravil as he stood up, then passed away.
Kevin just nodded his head then stepped out of the house, waiting for Carlos to prepare the car. Carlos seemed to be standing at the door of the car, opening the door for his employer.
"Please come in, Young Master." Carlos smiled faintly while bowing politely.
Today is Kevin's first day of high school. When SLTP, he attended school in America for three years and then returned to his current city. During the trip Kevin was just silently pensive looking out the window.
'How do I find you, Dad, ' Kevin's inner self.
As Kevin looked at some shops and cafes by the side of the road. His eyes unintentionally caught the familiar figure of the middle-aged man. Guren, Kevin's real father. The man who left her and her mother. Guren had just gotten out of the cafe, and was about to head towards the black sedan car by the roadside.
"Carlos, can you stop the car?" pinta Kevin, Carlos nodded and then stepped on the brake.
Kevin got out of the car, about to approach Guren who was still standing in front of the car door. Kevin stood behind him, his eyes seemingly blankly staring at the middle-aged man. Kevin sighed softly, then stepped his feet slowly closer to Guren.
Just as Guren was about to get in the car, Kevin came and hit his back. Suddenly Guren stopped and turned around, turning to look at the figure of Kevin who looked shaky standing in front of him.
"Who are you?" ask Guren. Kevin looked up, his face was lethargic, his eyes were trembling slightly.
"Sorry, I accidentally bumped into you. I'm not feeling well, I'm sorry." Kevin bowed politely, but his eyes seemed cynical looking at Guren.
"If you are sick it is better to stay at home." Then the middle-aged man entered the car, Mr. driver began to gas, propel the luxury car.
His mouth grinned, Kevin reached into his pocket, taking a business card belonging to Guren that he deliberately took secretly.
"So he lived here, yeah. All right, it's time to play around with this guy." Kevin throws a catch of the business card while stepping back in the car.
"So where'd you go Young Master?" carlos asked, he was just waiting in the car.
"There's nothing. Just meeting people I've known before" said Kevin, he still seems to throw catch the business card.
"Young Master, this is a great advance." Carlos went back on the gas, drove his car. His hands were deftly driving, passing through a road that was quite full of that vehicle.
"Great progress?" Kevin frowned, still throwing catch the business card. Every now and then his eyes looked at Guren's name which was clearly plastered on the business card.
"really. Before when you spoke to me, your eyes always seemed empty staring at me. And when I see how you look at me today, it's a satisfying advance." Carlos smile.
"My mood is good right now. I just got what I wanted all this time." Kevin looked back out the window. His eyes stared blankly, yet unceasingly the mouth smirked in satisfaction.
"The thing you want? May I know what you want Young Master?" ask Carlos. In between his forward-focused eyes, he also glanced slightly at the windshield of the car showing Kevin's face behind the wheel.
"not yet timed. Anyway ...." Kevin looked at Carlos' back. "This has nothing to do with you. I know you're good, but all this obviously has nothing to do with you, Carlos."
