Suffering

Suffering
Chapter 7

The blue car was parked in the hospital yard. Kevin got out of the car, walked into the hospital and put both hands in his jacket pocket. He stopped in front of the cashier, asking the female nurse who was there about where the father's room was being treated. And they answered if Gravil was in the fifth floor room.

Kevin nodded, then walked towards the elevator after bowing politely to the nurse. Arriving on the fifth floor, Kevin's eyes saw a Doctor who had just come out of his room being treated with a nurse tailing behind.

"Wait!" Kevin half-screamed, the nurse and the Doctor stopped, they turned their heads.

"What's wrong? Who're you?" asked the Doctor while frowning, the nurse behind him quietly listened.

"I'm Kevin, son of Mr. Gravil. I'm here to see how my father is doing?" kevin asked after he bowed politely to the Doctor in front of him.

The doctor glanced at Gravil who appeared to be lying unconscious, then looked back at Kevin while saying.

"Mr Gravil fell into a coma. It can be seen if someone has shot right in the heart. Luckily he was still saved, even in a coma."

"Where was the shooting? You know that, right?" ask Kevin enthusiastically.

"On the sixth floor of his company" replied the Doctor, Kevin mangosteen.

'The heart, yes. Obviously these murders weren't committed by amateurs, they must be hitmen, Kevin's inner self.

"All right, thanks for the information. Please save my father's life as much as possible" said Kevin, the Doctor smiled as he nodded slowly.

Kevin then spread his eyes out on the glass window. His feet slowly approached the glass window, looking at his father through the window door. The eyeball was slightly shaking, the water droplets were in the corner of the net, reluctant to come out. But his face still looked flat, almost expressionless.

The doctor approached Kevin, then patted his back gently. "Don't worry. Mr. Gravil will be cured soon." Then with the nurse behind him, the Doctor passed away.

Kevin glanced at the Doctor's back, then returned to his eyes to his father.

"Don't worry, Dad. You and my mom have helped me a lot. And I will definitely repay him. Whatever I do for you." His eyes were teary, yet his face was still flat, almost expressionless.

After seeing his father, Kevin passed away from the hospital. He returned to his car, his hands holding the wheel occasionally he hit it rough.

For about fifteen minutes, the blue sedan stopped by a roadside close to a multi-storey building. Kevin got out of the car, stood looking at the multi-storey building before his feet stepped into the building.

The company employees who already know who Kevin langusng spread their friendly smiles, sometimes there are also some who bow politely to welcome Kevin. But the two remained silent, seemingly indifferent to those who were friendly to him.

"What floor is Dad's room?" kevin asked one of the men.

"On the sixth floor of his company" replied the Doctor, Kevin mangosteen.

'The heart, yes. Obviously these murders weren't committed by amateurs, they must be hitmen, Kevin's inner self.

"But Mr. Gravil isn't around" the employee said with a clumsy smile.

"I don't intend to see him. I just want to go to my dad's room." Highlight his eyes looking cold, the employee gulped watching Kevin's cold expression.

The employee nodded quickly, then walked ahead, Kevin tailed behind to the elevator.

"Are you familiar with Mr Gravil?" ask employees while waiting for the elevator to stop on the destination floor.

"Yes," Kevin replied briefly, he seemed to be focusing on his phone.

"Pak Gravil is famous for his firmness in this company. And I don't think he's gonna melt down with his son even though. I was sad when I found out he was shot" said the employee with a sad face.

"You know the chronology? You know who shot Dad?" kevin asked, his gaze turning to the employee beside him.

The employee shook his head softly and said, "No, I don't know. The murder seems to have been planned."

The employee nodded quickly and said, "Yes, there is. But when the police checked, the cctv camera was sabotaged."

"Later I'll check it out. I know a little about computers. Maybe I can fix the cctv camera" Kevin said. His eyes returned to that flat object in his right hand.

The elevator doors finally opened, they had reached the sixth floor. Seen on the doorstep there is a yellow line prohibiting entry into.

"What are the police that gave the line of prohibition?" ask Kevin. The employee immediately nodded quickly, his face looked clumsy.

"I need to get in to check. Can't it?" kevin asked as his eyes focused on the yellow girl forbidden to enter.

"can't. I'm the only one who wants to take important documents inside is not allowed" said the employee, sighing softly.

"Then take me to the cctv room" Kevin asked. The employee nodded and took Kevin to a cctv room located not far from the Gravil room.

"If you can fix the cctv camera, maybe we'll get a lead" the employee said as he continued walking in front of Kevin.

"I'll try it" Kevin said as they arrived inside the computer room. Kevin is now sitting in a chair facing the computer screen.

He checked every incident that was on the cctv camera, but nothing suspicious yet. Until the last minute, suddenly the computer screen becomes blur and then blacken.

"This is what makes it difficult" the employee said as the computer in front of him began to blacken. His mouth seemed to clench dissatisfied, occasionally his right hand hit the handle of the chair.

"Has this been hacked?" muttered Kevin, he seemed to be propping up his chin.

In a split second, Kevin's hand deftly fiddled with the computer screen in front of him. Once in a while he stretched his hands, then refocused on the keyboard in front of him.

Several times he failed. But Kevin did not give up, he continued to try to tinker, even checking the cable that channels the computer on the cctv camera.

"Huh." Kevin wiped the sweat on his forehead with the back of his hand as the cctv computer had returned to normal running.

"You succeeded! How could you do that? I was amazed" said the employee, his eyes sparkling, while Kevin was silent and did not respond.

He's focusing on the cctv camera. In the footage Gravil appears to be sitting relaxed in his room, seems to focus on the documents that accumulate on his desk.

After a few minutes, suddenly the glass wall behind Gravil broke. A bullet was fired right at Gravil's back. The bullet went through the heart of Gravil. The employee looked stunned, while Kevin was still with a calm expression.

"There's nothing. There's only a bullet going towards Dad. No one was caught on cctv camera" Kevin grumbled, his hands crumpled.

"So, all this is just for nothing?" The employee was upset, but Kevin remained silent.

"If this were for you in vain. But for me this has all been a clue even though vaguely," said Kevin, his eyeballs seem to focus on the recording.

"Do you have a plan?"

"Eitherway. You don't need to know, do you? You have nothing to do with this" said Kevin, his head turned, staring coldly at the employee behind him. Jakun the employee went up and down gulping.

Kevin stood up after copying the tape and keeping it in a small chipset, putting it in his pocket.

"Well I'll go home and find out. I won't stay silent to let the murderous keb*rat feel calm."

"If you need my help, I'm ready to help. My name is Charlie" he said, his hand outstretched, but Kevin was silent about Charlie's hand.

"I don't intend to know you. I don't intend to ask for your help either." Kevin stepped out of the room.
