Suffering
Chapter 30

Gery chuckled with a grin on his lips, though his face was still dripping with cold sweat, soaking his neck. He stood up, holding the gun tightly while putting one of his hands on his waist.

"You don't know me, young man. I am not a fool you can kill. I'll kill you easily." Cold sweat was still pouring out as Gery took a step forward, facing off against Kevin.

Kevin stepped back with both hands raised up. His mouth covered a smile that seemed mocking, making Gery harden his jaw.

"OK, okay. It seems you are not my right opponent. I will definitely die," said Kevin casually, still with both hands raised upwards.

Gery spat, just making Kevin one step back, away from the disgusting saliva. He clucked with his head shaking slowly.

"Your house will be filthy with all the saliva you spit out." Kevin lowered his hand slowly. Now, he started to cross paths with a gun in his right hand.

"I'm really going to kill you, snot boy!" The half-wrinkled face looked flushed red with hardened jaws.

He stood straight with the gun pointing at Kevin. Those half-wrinkle fingers started to stick to the trigger. And when the trigger was pulled, sparks with a single bullet came out, darting towards Kevin who was still standing while cross-sectioned, looking relaxed.

Until just when the bullet was about to hit his face. He dodged quickly, making the bullet just slightly scratch a few strands of his pitch-black hair.

"Damn! You made me lose a few strands of my hair that I had taken good care of" Kevin grumbled, looking relaxed.

Gery grumbling. He went back to preparing his gun, pulled the trigger a few times. Until, make the bullet in the gun run out. And the bullets that shot towards Kevin, just hit the air, didn't hit Kevin.

"Patience, Mr. Gery. Patience is the key to success" Kevin says. He rubbed his hair, impressed cool as he stepped forward, approaching Gery with a gun in his jacket pocket.

"I want to ask. Because you are not willing to compromise. Everything went slow.

C'mon, Mister. Just answer what I ask. And all this will end."

Gery slammed his butt on the sofa with both hands folded on his chest. He took a deep breath, then spread his gaze to Kevin who was now sitting in front of Gery.

"Who told you to kill me? I think I already know. But, I wouldn't believe it without solid evidence."

"Do you really want to know? Won't you regret it?" Gery smiled grinning. Kevin nodded casually.

"Your father. He wants you to die. I think you have a father who doesn't care about you. Until he wants you out of this world."

Kevin nodded casually. Make Gery dumbfounded. Didn't expect Kevin would so casually accept the fact that his father wanted him dead.

"He's like you, Mr. Gery. Not loving his son, even consider his son a carrier of shit," said Kevin.

"What do you mean?"

"Yes, half of everything. I already know how much you don't care about your son, Arnold.

He was even willing to sacrifice his life, just to do as you commanded. If only, the bullet you fired a few days ago hit his heart or lungs.

I'm not sure if he'll survive. You're so crazy, Mr. Gery."

"Sometimes, we have to sacrifice one precious item to obtain an abundant treasure" Gery said.

"Gee ...." Kevin chuckled with a sour face. "remarkable. I just found out dark words like this."

"What about you? Is Guren like me? Or did he not want you from the beginning?"

"It's funny. I don't know, from my little one. Never once did you spend at least a second with me.

He also often quarrels with my mother. To make Mom depressed, and eventually commit suicide."

"So, what are you going to do now? I want to make more money." Gery stood up. He put his gun to the left of Kevin's head. "But I won't get it if you don't die."

Kevin looked. Now, both of his eyes are facing the tip of the gun that is still reflecting the thin smoke. He smiled, impressed with the mockery.

"Now I don't need you anymore. And it seems, you're the one who has to die." Kevin grinned wide. Makes Gery back to harden his jaw.

Gery's fingers began to move, about to pull the trigger. However, when Gery's hand was about to pull the trigger. Quickly, Kevin grabbed the gun in his jacket pocket, then fired the bullet, managed to hit Gery's head, and sprayed a thick red liquid, hitting Kevin's face and clothes. Dropped the half-large body onto the floor wrapped in a maroon red carpet.

"Huh ...." Kevin breathed a heavy sigh. He stood up while gently wiping the tip of his gun with a plain cloth. "My revenge was done, Arnold. I will not let you commit this sin. Let me do it. Let me get this punishment."

The half-wavelength leg continued to walk back and forth irregularly with a tense face. Occasionally his half-wrinkled hand he clenched tightly, then hit the table a little rough. Until it leaves a reddish mark on the palm of the hand half its length.

"How does Gery work. He didn't tell me either. Did he kill her?"

He looked back at the screen of his phone which had already counted how many. However, there is no notification indicating that Gery contacted him. And it made him step back irregularly with his hands trembling slightly.

"What don't-don't, Gery ...." He did not continue when the doorbell rang, causing him to flinch.

Half doubtful he was about to open the door. However, when the doorbell that had previously continued to sound was now silent, he held the doorknob, turned it slowly, until now the door was open.

"W-why!" He stepped back with a cold sweat that began to drench his face as the figure of Kevin stood in the doorway with a wide grin on his lips.

"Hello, Mr. Guren." Kevin tilted his head with a wide grin on his lips. Making the Guren jakun go up and down, gulp down.

Guren stepped back, away from Kevin. However, Kevin stepped forward, approaching Guren who looked with a tense look. He continued to step back, until now his body was stuck on the wall, unable to move away again when Kevin was standing before him.

"Why do you look so scared? I came here just to have a casual conversation with you, Mr. Guren." Kevin's ruffled waist. His intimidating gaze made Guren flutter, so that his trembling legs could not support his half-large body. Until he sat on the floor.

"Your, Kevin's friend, isn't he? What are you doing here!"
