Suffering

Suffering
Chapter 32

A hand wrapped in black gloves held the doorknob, turning it slowly, until the door opened. The boot-clad leg slowly approached Kirana who was lying on the bed.

Now he was standing to the left of Kirana lying down. He pulled the cover of his face a little. Revealing those red blushing lips that were smiling grinned.

"This is exciting," he murmured slowly.

He pulled the breathing apparatus attached to Kirana's nose, rendering the middle-aged woman unable to breathe, losing her consciousness.

"How are you gonna handle this, Kevin." The figure turned around, and passed away leaving Kirana.

When Kevin was about to close his eyes, suddenly his phone rang, again making Kevin open his eyes wide. Grabbing the flat object on the table, gazing at a message from one of the nurses in the hospital the mother was being treated for.

Kevin woke up quickly, clutching the phone in his hand. He was about to get out of bed, but could not when his head pulsed again, dropping his body onto the bed.

"Damn! Why does my head hurt so much! But, Mother ...." Kevin again got up, trying to keep standing on his head that continues to beat violently.

Until when his body has stood firm, almost the body will again collapse into the bed if Arnold does not come on time, and support Kevin's body.

"Where are you going? Your condition is not vit yet" Arnold said. He was about to help Kevin lie back on the bed, but Kevin immediately brushed him off.

"I have to go to see Mom! She ...." Kevin did not continue his words. His eyes began to glaze over, collecting clear water at the corner of the net.

"What's wrong with your mom? She's okay, right?" ask Arnold. His hands still support Kevin's body.

"Critical mom! I have to go to the hospital. Mom needs me!"

"But what about you?"

"I'm fine. Can you drive me?" pinta Kevin's. Arnold nodded quickly. And take Kevin to the taxi car waiting in front. And the car started to go, to the hospital.

Arrive at the hospital. Kevin walked in a hurry, headed upstairs, no longer thinking about the head that kept pulsing. In fact, Arnold was hard enough to keep up with Kevin's footsteps.

He stopped right at the door of the room where the mother was being treated. There were already about two to three nurses who had come and gone from that room. Back to make Kevin angry. He took a deep breath, then walked into the room, approaching the weakly lying Mother.

"Dok, how's my mom doing?" ask Kevin. He grabbed the hands of the Mother who was starting to get cold, ice-cold, stiff as well.

In fact, there was no sign of the mother breathing, or even moving one of her fingers. Kevin panicked again, barely letting out his tears.

"Sorry, Kevin. I tried, very trying. But, your mother we can't save." The doctor lowered his head. Kevin was wide with eyes that began to drip clear water.

His trembling legs could no longer hold his weight. Crashed to the floor with a shunt. Arnold immediately approached, holding onto Kevin's shoulder, gently scowling him.

"Kevin, relax. Don't let your condition get weaker" Arnold said. He grabs Kevin's hand, helps him get up, takes him sitting on the couch.

The nurses began to remove the breathing apparatus that was attached to Kirana's nose. Also remove the infusion hose on the back of Kirana's hand. Then, folding both hands Kirana on the chest, then covering her face with the white blanket.

His hands clenched tightly with a body that started shaking. Removing clear water droplets from the corner of the net, increasingly swift. His shunt-looking legs caused Kevin's body to collapse to the ground.

"Why. Why is all this happening to me? I can't live my life normally!" kevin said half screaming.

Interjected by Kevin's sobs. The sky began to reveal its black clouds, giving rise to a rumbling sound, along with raindrops that turned as big as corn seeds. Wrapped Kevin's body wrapped in a long-sleeved black shirt and trousers.

"I just want to live my life with you, Mom and Dad. Why did God take you away from me so quickly? Do I not deserve to be happy?"

Arnold came with an umbrella in his hand, covering the speck of rain, no longer hitting Kevin. With a sad face, Arnold crouched down, holding onto Kevin's shoulder slowly.

"Kevin, you should be able to be sincere with the passing of your mother. Don't keep on being sad like this."

Arnold helped Kevin get up, and took him home, leaving the mother's grave wet with the rain.

Kevin sat his ass on the floor, leaning at the foot of the bed. Ignoring her soaking wet clothes, dripping water on the floor.

"Kevin, you change your clothes first. Now, you're still in pain. Don't let you get sick anymore." Arnold stuck a towel on Kevin. But the young man was silent, not reaching for the towel.

Arnold took a breath. He crouched down, stuck the towel back out. However, Kevin remained unmoved, not even looking at Arnold.

"Kevin, right now you just have to stay strong, survive to find out the cause of your mother's death" Arnold said. Kevin raised his face with sharp eyes.

"What do you mean?" Kevin frowned.

"So in the hospital. The doctor had said that your mother died because someone had removed her breathing apparatus" Arnold explained.

Kevin tightly clenched his hands together, to accentuate those burly muscles. Removing a thick red liquid from the back of the hand used infusion hose. Arnold grabbed the p3k box, treating the wound.

"Be careful, Kevin! Here I feel like I'm looking after a very unruly little boy" Grumbled Arnold.

Kevin wiped the tears at the corner of his net, then turned to look at Arnold. "Did Mom's room not have her cctv camera?" ask Kevin.

"Looks not. Because the doctor said nothing. But, I don't know. Do I need to go to the hospital to ask?"

"no need. You just call. I have the number." Kevin gave me the phone number of the doctor who was taking care of her.

And Arnold talked to the doctor long enough on the phone. Until Arnold after talking to the Doctor, he approached Kevin.

"There's a cctv camera. But on that camera there's a piece of footage missing. And that must have been the footage of the man taking off his breathing apparatus" Arnold said.

"Maybe I can fix it. I'm going to the hospital!"
