"Who did you just call?" Zion steps closer to make Daisy panic. The woman hid her cell phone so she wouldn't look like Zion. It could be bad if the man checks his phone. Inside the gallery there were lots of friendly photos of Daisy and Foster while they were in Ukraine.
"none. What did you hear?" Daisy tried to stay calm. She tucked her hair behind her ear.
"You just called someone. I heard everything!"
Daisy sculpts. He's getting worried. It was so bad to run away from there so as not to be interrogated again. But, that's not possible. How could he have escaped Zion if the man hadn't finished talking.
"Yes, I called my friend. Called Flora. He said he couldn't attend today. I've been waiting for him since yesterday. After Esme, she's my friend now," Daisy's lie grew. He has no friend named Flora. If Zion talks about Flora, it's over.
"Can I borrow your phone?" Zion extended her hand.
"What's brother for?"
"Since when did you ask when I borrowed it?"
Daisy was silent. He was already looking restless to the point of making Zion more suspicious. Actually Zion didn't hear what Daisy and Foster were talking about. The man was just curious, why his sister looks cheerful once after deciding on a phone call. Not as usual. His suspicion grew even more when he saw Daisy's current panic.
"Zion, it turns out you're here. Opa's looking for you everywhere."
Opa Zen appeared. Holding a cane, the man walked up to Zion and Daisy.
"Opa, what's going on?" Daisy runs up to Opa Zen. Followed by Zion. "Why use a stick? Why opa times?"
"Opa's okay?" ask Zion who is worried too. "What's Opa looking for me?"
"Zion, Opa is going down. But, Opa was afraid. Do you want to accompany Opa? everyone is downstairs. It seems like no one remembers this old man," Opa Zen replied with a chuckle.
"Aren't you ready yet? Quick dance. The show will start soon. Everyone has gathered. Don't let you be late for Norah's big show!"
"All right Opa." Daisy smiled happily. In the end, again Opa Zen became his guardian angel.
"Come Opa. Zion's gonna go with Opa." Zion glanced at Daisy before bringing Opa Zen out of the room. While still arriving at the door, Opa Zen brandished his thumbs up silently. It makes Daisy more convinced that Opa Zen appears because it wants to help her.
"Opa is the best. The more I get here, the more I don't want Opa's age to increase" Daisy murmured inwardly.
Outside the room, Zion carefully guided Opa Zen. The man looks very patient. He noticed Opa Zen's face occasionally as the man cleared out sweat.
"Opa's sick?"
"Lately Opa's body is sweating a lot. Although Opa was in a very cold room," Opa Zen replied without looking.
"Have you checked with the doctor?" Zion's worried again. He confirmed Opa Zen's steps vigilantly.
"A parent like opa is indeed the time," Opa Zen replied casually.
"It's time?" zion asked with eyebrows clinging to each other.
Opa Zen looked at Zion and smiled. "It's time to die!" said Opa Zen while laughing as if the answer was a joke.
Zion's speechless. He didn't like Opa Zen talking like that. Although indeed at the age of Opa Zen now, the man will certainly be attacked by many diseases and lead to death. Just like Daisy and Norah. Zion also did not want her eyes to go away.
"Not funny, Opa. Don't talk like that anymore!" zion protested with his favorite cold expression. Opa Zen glanced at Zion at a glance before setting his foot on the stairs carefully.
