During the journey to the middle of the forest, Norah continued to look at Austin's face. Actually, he himself did not realize why he had been looking at Austin's face so seriously. Unlike Austin who looks relaxed when he knows Norah looks at his face. Even though there is nervousness. But the man was very clever to hide his heart.
“Why should I be stuck with my brother's enemies? What if Zion finds out? He might misunderstand,” Norah murmured inwardly.
“Okay, we're here. Looks like we stopped here for a while. My legs are also getting tired,” said Austin to make Norah turn her face. He didn't want Austin to know that he was thinking about Austin and looked at him without blinking.
Norah was placed in a pile of dried leaves in the middle of the forest. The forest was like a hunter had visited. There are burnt marks and tents that are deliberately left by their owners. Austin approached the tent to check the contents inside. Not forgetting to train remained in his grasp so that he could always protect himself whenever something suddenly appeared and threatened his life.
“What do you want to do? You have no intention of using that tent as our resting place right?” Norah seemed to doubt. Seeing the location of the forest made him shiver.
“At least this tent can be used as a place to shelter if it rains,” said Austin. The man immediately went inside the tent and checked the contents inside. The tent measuring 2 x 1.5 meters was still worth using. There was nothing in it that they could use for cooking.
“Austin, what did you find inside?” Seeing Austin go inside the tent and not come out made Norah worried.
“ARRRGGGHH!”
Norah widened her eyes to hear Austin's screams. “Austin, what happened? Are you okay?” Austin did not give an answer. It makes Norah unbecoming. He's very panicked. “Austin, did you hear my voice?”
Norah looked at his injured leg. He tried to stand up while holding on to the wooden stick that was nearby. The woman stood up and adjusted her body balance. When he wanted to step up, Austin suddenly appeared and laughed.
“Norah, are you worried about me? Eh?” austin Ledek.
An irritated Norah just turned her face away. “This is not funny.”
“Norah, why are you so cold? Smile. I did all this because I wanted to see you smile. Am I that bad that I don't deserve your sweet smile?”
Austin looked at Norah's face with a sad face. The man knew and realized that his love was still clapping one hand. But he was sure, soon the woman of his worship would surely melt with his seduction.
“I just want to go home. I miss my family, Austin ..”
Austin is getting serious this time. He approached Norah and immediately wiped the tears that had dripped on Norah's cheek. She emotionally pulled Norah and hugged her. Gently rubbed the woman's back. “I'll take you home, Norah. I'll bring you to your family. But, not now. I promise Uncle Tano will send people to look for me. Maybe not as fast as you think. But at least we won't die in this forest.”
When the atmosphere turned sad, Norah's starving stomach rang to make Austin raise one eyebrow. Norah doesn't care if her stomach is hungry. But the worms in his stomach protested by using a toak. The silent forest made Norah's stomach sound so clear.
“You hungry, Miss?” austin asked with smiling lips.
“Do you have something to eat?”
“Nothing for now. But, I will cook something for you to eat.” Austin looked around for something that could be used for cooking. The man walked up to the tent and squatted down. He found a match in front of the entrance of the tent. Austin smiled happily as luck was still siding with him.
“What do you want to cook? Do you need help?” Norah tried to run her legs slowly. Austin immediately moved and approached Norah. He also looks happy to see Norah starting to walk again.
“I'll find a fish. I hope that talent is still there. If there isn't, we're forced to eat grilled yams tonight. Only there's a yam tree near us. I cannot explore this forest and leave you alone here.”
Norah looked up at the yam tree Austin pointed at. For Norah eating anything is not a problem. Which confuses him. How could Austin think of getting that far? Even she who was a woman since arriving there never had the thought to make the yam as their dinner menu.
“You don't like yams?” austin asked with a confused face.
Norah smiled while shaking her head. “Search wood. Let me burn the yam. You just go get some fruit. Hopefully this forest is filled with fruit crops,” Norah's orders. The woman looks excited approaching the yam tree that they will process into a sweet potato. Although the pace of maish hobbled, but at least Norah already looks much better.
“Norah, this is training. Holdin' it. Protect yourself with this thing.” Austin takes Norah's hand and puts his only training to Norah.
“How about you?” Norah seemed hesitant to accept it.
“Free me life if you're a wretch. Don't think about my safety, Norah. Just think about yourself. You should be able to protect yourself. If there is danger, scream. I'll be here soon.”
Norah did not answer again. He clasped his hands and looked at Austin. The man walked quickly towards the forest to look for something for them to eat. Norah twirled the drill before finding the logo of The Bloods there.
“Why does Austin still use the name The Bloods? Didn't Uncle Tano say he had forgotten about The Bloods? Has Austin really changed? What if all this was just his trap so that he could defeat Brother Zion?” Norah was silent for a moment. “No no. He can't be that bad. If he wanted to set me up in the first place, why would he bother to help me from that house? Even we got stranded on this island.”
Norah looked towards the sea hearing the sound of ships heading to the island where he was. The woman stepped back with a scared face. The ones who had just descended were the bad guys who had tortured him.
“How is this? Why do they know I'm here?”
