The 3rd Generation

The 3rd Generation
Chapters. 237

Tonight Leona asked the waiters to prepare a barbeque party. The middle-aged woman indeed wanted to go back to her youth first. Have fun with loved ones at night. Forgetting the age that is no longer young.

Leona deliberately used this moment to gather. The woman knew that there were many members of their family who were very old. Either next year they can meet again or not.

Everything is prepared. Just waiting for everyone to gather in that place. Because it's too crowded, they don't even realize that Dominic is no longer on board. Zion and Zean are beginning to realize Dominic's absence.

Faith has not provided any information as she plans to inform Dominic of his departure by tomorrow morning. The woman did not Zean become worried and no longer enjoyed her holiday atmosphere.

That night Faith was putting her makeup on in the room. With a long black dress, Faith looks very elegant. Leona asked everyone to wear a black dress tonight. He wanted the barbeque party he planned to have to go on festively and leave a good impression.

"About Dominic's brother hasn't arrived yet?" Faith let out a long sigh while looking at her own face in front of the mirror. The woman held both cheeks before smiling. "It's a shame that Dominic can't party tonight. I want to dance with Dominic." Faith wants to let go of Dominic. Although the woman actually wants him Dominic is always next to her. "If there's Brother Dominic I can't get close to Brother Zion. If there is no Dominic I just feel there is less. Looks like it's better to have Dominic here. That way Zion's struggle is more visible."

The sound of knocking on the door made Faith move from the chair she was sitting in. The woman walked slowly towards the door. Arriving there he immediately opened the key and pulled the door open.

"Good night" Zion said in a well-groomed dress. The man gave a rose to Faith and finally made Faith blush.

"Thank you, sister" Faith said as she received the flowers.

Zion looked into the room. "Can I come in?"

Faith nodded and gave way to Zion. After Zion entered the woman, she closed the door to her room.

"Is Daisy ready? We promised we'd go together to the party." Faith walked behind Zion.

"She won't remember you anymore because Foster's right next to her." Zion sat on the sofa in the room. "I came here on his orders. He asked me to pick you up."

"Oh." Faith placed the flower given by Zion into the pot. There's a sense of disappointment when he finds out that Zion picked him up because it was ordered by Daisy, not at her own will. "I can walk by myself because I already know where Kak Jion doesn't have to bother picking me up like this." The woman also sat on the sofa not too far away from Zion's position.

Zion raised one eyebrow. "Are you mad at me?"

"No." However, it is clear that Faith is angry with Zion. The woman had no talent to hide her disappointment. His facial expression could answer what was now felt in the heart.

"I asked Daisy not to pick you up because I wanted to pick you up! Now, are you satisfied?" Although Zion explained in an annoyed tone, but still it could make Faith smile again.

Zion could sigh in relief when she saw the sweet smile on Faith's lips. "You're this .. You almost made me hang."

"Why lie if you can honestly make others happy? Don't be too prestigious because sometimes to cover our prestige, it can make others misunderstand."

"Yes yes, Miss. Thanks for the advice." Zion was silent for a moment. He remembered his purpose in meeting Faith tonight. "Do you know where Dominic is? I haven't seen him since noon. Uncle Zean also keeps looking for Dominic's whereabouts. He said he wasn't even in his room."

"Sir Dominic is back in Las Vegas. Looks like he's more comfortable being there than coming with us on this ship. Dominic is not saying goodbye. But he left a letter in his room."

"Las Vegas? What's up there? Why did Dominic suddenly decide to go home?" Zion already felt something suspicious there.

Zion doesn't want to go too far. The man got up from the sofa and extended his hand. "Let's go to the party location. I'm sure everyone's gathered there."

Faith immediately moved away from the sofa she was sitting on. Without hesitation the woman embraced Zion's arm affectionately. "Oh yeah. There's something I want to say to Brother Zion. I didn't get to say it this afternoon because Brother Zion was so busy." Faith held back her footsteps.

Zion looked at Faith seriously. "Actually what do you want to say? Tell me right now."

"Sir Dominic has blessed our relationship. He asked us to immediately set the date of his wedding. Isn't this good news?" faith said with a radiant face. He felt sure that now Zion also felt the happiness she now felt.

Zion's face immediately shone. "really?" zion did not believe.

"Wait a minute. I'll show you something." Faith takes off Zion's arm and walks into the closet where she keeps the letter left by Dominic. "Sir Dominic also wrote the message in this letter." Faith immediately gave the letter to Zion.

Without saying much more, Zion immediately received the letter and read the writing one by one. The man's facial expression became even more animated when he found out that Dominic had approved of his relationship with Faith and asked Faith to immediately set a date for her marriage. But for some reason Zion's premonition is that Dominic is back in Las Vegas because there's a problem there. Not just missed Las Vegas.

"I'm going to pass this information on to Mama to determine our wedding date soon." Zion looked at Faith again. Although he is now worried about Dominic's safety, he does not want to show that worry in front of Faith.

Faith nodded quickly while smiling happily, the woman embracing Zion's arm again. "Let's meet them there and tell everyone this good news."

Zion returned Faith's smile. The man immediately led Faith to the location of the party.

...***...

The fireworks opened a barbeque party hosted by Leona. Everyone seemed so excited that night. Those in pairs feed each other their partners.

Some of them are still busy with food that is now burned on the grill. While the Oma and Opa chose to sit down and enjoy the party. Because their digestion is old, they also take better care of what goes into their mouths so as not to cause new problems.

"Isn't this meat really good? I want to add more" Norah said as she chewed on the food in her mouth.

"Are you not full yet? You've eaten so much meat" Austin said in disbelief.

"Today I'm doing too much, so I'm losing a lot of energy. Tonight I have to eat a lot to get my energy back up. I know I'll be back in the evening until morning." Norah threw a meaningful look at Austin, causing the man to misbehave. "Eat a lot, dear. You need a lot of energy" support Austin vigorously.

"You're this, if there's any immediate spirit!"

Austin laughed again. "I'm sure Harumi certainly did not think that the woman he had been calling Mama had liked to eat a lot. But good too. You gotta put your weight on."

"Actually I don't eat too many meals like this. If my mood is good and my stomach is hungry I can always eat more than the usual portion I eat. But if my mood is bad then not even a mouthful of bread can I swallow." Again Norah put the piece of meat that had been baked into his mouth.

"Yes darling. Eat more ...." Austin thrust grilled corn, grilled fish to Norah excitedly.
