Zeroun sat on a chair while looking at the window. They just drove Serena to her final resting place. Now the woman has met her husband. He had died everyone who loved him so much in this world.
Zeroun still could not accept all of this. Since returning home from the funeral, Zeroun has been silent. The man didn't even respond to people's questions.
Luke and Oliver enter Zeroun's room with a warm drink. They knew that Zeroun had no food or drink. So they brought Zeroun an energy drink so that the man would not get sick.
"Boss, you can drink it now." Luke placed the drink on the table near the chair Zeroun occupied. But Zeroun did not give any response. The man remained silent as he looked out the window. It was as if Serena and Emelie were standing there smiling at him.
"Dad, it looks like Uncle Zeroun needs some time alone." Oliver stepped back. "We need to get out of here. We can't force it."
Luke looked at Zeroun's face again. He never had the heart to see Zeroun slump like this. However, he also had no way of getting Zeroun back on his feet. Not just Zeroun. Even now everyone is also contemplating after being abandoned by Serena. They all thought it was just a dream.
"I'm sorry, boss." Luke immediately backed off and left from there. Oliver also joins Luke.
Upon arriving in front of the room, the two men looked at each other. The two of them looked uninspired to see Zeroun like that. Norah's search has not stopped. They have to keep fighting.
"Dad, what should I do now?"
"You stay here. Take care of Boss Zeroun. Norah's business let Daddy and Zion investigate."
"Daddy sure? How about I just?"
"Think Katterine. He needs you at home."
Oliver this time could not argue anymore. Katterine is now getting sick. Oliver could not bear to leave him alone at home.
"alright. I'm gonna bring Katterine to this house so we can both take care of Uncle Zeroun."
Luke glanced at the clock in his hand. "Daddy go first. Say hello to Daddy to your mommy. Tell me Daddy misses him a lot."
Luke is leaving. Oliver still lingered in that place while looking at Luke's back that was getting further away.
"We were wrong. We shouldn't have to turn on the Gold Dragon so that this kind of trouble never happens."
...***...
The night came back. It's been almost two days that Norah and Austin have been stuck on the island. The hope of the arrival of reinforcements seemed to be lost because they had been there too long. Austin himself was getting upset with Uncle Tano. All this time the middle-aged man had always been reliable. But this time the results given by the man were very disappointing.
Austin wants to get off the island so he can meet Zion and apologize. He himself will take Norah to his family home. Even so, until now Austin has not told Norah that he already knows Norah's younger brother Zion Zein. He wanted Norah's attitude to be no different. Stay like this. Ridiculous and adorable. He did not want Norah to be distant and strange towards him.
Norah felt very sleepy after her stomach was full. Although they were trapped in the forest, they did not starve. Austin is very good at food. Norah learned a lot from Austin. He wanted to learn how to survive if trapped in the middle of a forest or a quiet place like this.
Austin was flipping through the wood that was inside the coals. The man has been quiet a lot lately as well. He seems to be making plans to get Norah. Of course Austin knows that it's not easy to get Zion Zein's apology. It will be a difficult struggle even harder than making Norah fall in love with her.
"What are you thinking?" ask Norah first. The woman even looked at Austin who was now very close to her. They sat side by side facing the fire.
"Nothing." Austin smiled and looked at Norah. "Do you have a sister?"
Deg. Norah remained silent. He doesn't want to talk about this right now. "Have it" answered Norah. I wish the man hadn't asked any further.
Austin nodded before returning silent with his own thoughts.
"Why? Do you have a sister, too?" ask Norah for a change.
"I'm an only child. I'm not even my father's son. I'm not pure blood of Clark's blood."
"That's not a problem. Most importantly, they love you and think of you as a child. I'm sure they'll be happy to see you now. You've turned into a much better man. At least they can sleep peacefully in heaven there."
Austin scrunched his forehead. "Heaven? You know that my parents are gone?"
"Don't you say you're alone in this world right now?"
Austin was silent. Although it was hard for him to believe. But how else? He also can't remember all his chatter with Norah.
As Norah and Austin daydream with their own thoughts. Suddenly there was a thunder from the sky. Norah who was startled and frightened from seeing the glint from the sky immediately bent both her legs. He buried his head between his legs with a trembling body. Although they could hide in the tent, but still Norah was afraid to hear the sound of lightning in the middle of the forest like this.
Austin looked up before looking towards Norah again. Norah's attitude worried him. "You scared?"
"Yes. I'm so afraid of lightning" Norah replied in honesty. Simultaneously, the loudest thunder roar sounded so clearly. A shocked and frightened Norah immediately jumped over to Austin . Until unnoticed, now the woman is on the lap of Austin.
Same with Norah. Austin was also greatly shocked as Norah sat on his lap. Their eyes looked at each other. The rain started to fall hard. Their bodies also began to get wet.
"We have to get in and tent. I'll take you in." Austin quickly carried Norah and brought her inside. He placed Norah in the middle before closing the tent so that the wind and rain would not go inside.
"Sorry." Norah turned her face away. He hugged his feet again with cold.
"Sorry for what?" Austin's approaching Norah. Sit in front of the woman and look at her carefully. "You're not wrong, Norah. You ran to the right guy. I can protect you."
"Austin, I want to sleep. My head feels dizzy." Norah looked at the narrow and cold floor of the tent. Some nights he slept there. Austin is outside. Now when it rains, Norah is confused as to how. It was enough for them to sleep in the tent. Norah is uncomfortable sleeping with a stranger like Austin.
"You're expelling me, miss? in a rain like this?" Austin raised one eyebrow. Norah was silent. With his head down the woman shook her head.
"I slept first."
When Norah wanted to find a sleeping position, suddenly there was a thunderous roar of lightning that was so deafening. Austin pulled Norah by the hand and hugged her tightly. Norah herself spontaneously wrapped her hands around Austin's waist.
"All will be well. Stay like this. At least until the rain subsides."
The conscious Norah decides to stay away from Austin after the lightning is gone. Not with Austin . The man held back Norah's waist to not go anywhere. Norah was aware of the pressure Austin was exerting. Austin rubbed Norah's cheek and looked at the woman lovingly.
"What does he want to do?" norah murmured in the heart. Norah's eyes were still staring at Austin's eyes, who was now looking at him without blinking.
Austin's face slowly advanced toward Norah's face. Her other hand had been on Norah's head to pull the woman's face closer to her. Norah. Austin was hypnotizing himself. However, within seconds Norah regained consciousness.
"What do you want to do?" norah protest. Austin fell silent. He turned his face away before moving away from Norah again.
"Sleep! I'll take care of you!" austin Command. Norah did not want to waste the opportunity. He immediately walked away from Austin and lay down. Austin just kept quiet while looking at Norah.
Austin twirled his practice while keeping the sleeping Norah. The rain stopped. Now only cold air is left that makes the body feel frozen. Austin rubbed his arms warmly before looking at Norah who was curled up like a fetus in the stomach. The woman is cold. Yeah, that's what came to Austin's mind. But what can he do?
"Sir Zion ... Brother Zion ...." Again Norah deliriously called out her brother's name. Austin was no longer surprised because he already knew what was really going on. But this time something was strange. Norah seemed to be enduring pain. Austin held Norah's forehead to check it out. How shocked the man was when Norah's body temperature was so high.
"Norah, wakeup. Can you still listen to me?" Austin patted Norah's cheek gently. Norah closed her eyes. The woman's lips were pale.
"He's feverish. Now how do you do it?"
Austin put Norah's body on the lap. The man would hug Norah's body so as not to get cold.
"Hold on. You must be strong Norah."
Austin looked at Norah's face again. This time the man was delighted to see Norah re-open her eyes.
"Are you okay?" ask Austin.
"Cold." Norah tightened her embrace. I don't think he wants to take Austin off because he's so warm. Austin returned Norah's embrace.
"I'll take care of you, Norah. Trust me."
