The 3rd Generation
Chapters. 190

"Abio, where have you been?" ask Livy worried. "Did something happen? Why is your face lethargic like this." Livy pulled her husband's hand and took him to sit on the sofa together.

"I've just been to Oma Shabira's room. I feel a lot calmer now after hearing the news that Oma Shabira is fine. I'm sorry for not saying goodbye to you. I wanted to wait for you to finish the shower. But since you're taking too long, I can't wait and decide to just leave. I went to a place not far from here. So, I'm not leaving for too long." Abio tries to convince Livy not to misunderstand.

"I have absolutely no problem if you go to visit Oma Shabira. I was also happy when I found out that Oma Shabira was fine. But now things are not okay. Reportedly Aunt Leona was angry in her room. Something's going on there."

"What has made Aunt Leona so angry? I'm sure there must be a reason." Abio confirmed his sitting position in order to see Livy's face more clearly.

"I don't know for sure either. I was gonna ask Norah. Norah did not come out of his room. I didn't see Zion either. I don't see the trunk of his nose. The man disappeared. He's not sure where he's going. Though clearly today was the important day of his biological brother but he was gone for a while."

"So I also had time to look for the whereabouts of Brother Zion. Is it true that he left the island?"

"Rather than keep guessing we should just come to Norah's room and ask directly. We have to hurry. We should be able to get information before the reception starts." Livy walked off the sofa with enthusiasm.

Abio nodded in agreement. "alright. Let's go now to Norah's room" Abio said. The man offered his arm and took Livy to the room where Norah and Austin were.

It did not take long for them to arrive at Norah's room as Norah's room was only a few meters away from their door. The servants were seen passing by and saluting. They all became busy as the wedding party would take place in a moment.

Livy had not yet called Norah and knocked on her door, and suddenly the door of the room was open. Norah stood in the doorway in a very luxurious black dress. Behind the woman was Austin who looked well-groomed.

"Sister Livy? What's Livy doing here? Why don't you get ready in Brother's room?" Norah felt that Livy's appearance was not neat enough. Even though they still have time to prepare. But Livy shouldn't be walking around like he is now.

"There's something important I want to ask you. Do you still have time to talk to me?" ask Livy back.

Norah led Livy and Abio into her room. Though it was obvious they wanted to go to the reception location but seeing that Livy was there, Norah chose to chat first. "Please sit down." Norah pointed at the sofa that was in front of her before sitting side by side with Austin.

"It's about Brother Zion" Livy said without much ado. "Actually where did Brother Zion go? I've got word that Auntie

Leona was furious when she found out that Brother Zion left the island."

"Sir Zion's leaving for Las Vegas. He didn't tell anyone but Daisy. Daisy also kept all this a secret because she didn't want our wedding to go awry. I don't know where she got this information either because Daisy didn't tell Mama. Now you look sad when you find out that Brother Zion left for Las Vegas just to meet with Kak Faith. Mama does not want Brother Zion to be hurt and disappointed. Mama has hated Faith ever since. I don't know what to do now either. I know that Brother Zion is fighting for the woman he loves. While Mama doesn't want her son hurt anymore."

"A very difficult choice for Zion. I hope this thing ends."

"Oh yes, how is Oma Shabira? Is he okay?" ask Norah to Abio.

Abio nagging. " Oma Shabira looks a lot better. But he has to use a wheelchair if he wants to join us at the wedding reception location later," replied Abio as it is.

"Thank God. I'm glad to hear that I hope everyone present at our wedding is all in good health. I don't want anyone to lose anything until they get sick. Actually I felt very disappointed as well when I found out that Brother Zion was more concerned with Kak Faith than my wedding party. But how else. I can also understand what Brother Zion is feeling. Doesn't love make us stupid sometimes? To the point of not being able to think clearly anymore" Norah said as she looked at Austin. The man again clasped Norah's hand with a smiling lip.

"We don't have to blame anyone for now. Let's just pray that Brother Zion is okay there and can go home safely. Even if he comes home with Faith, I hope everything will still be fine. May Aunt Leona accept Faith as she is. No dispute that ever happened between them."

"Yes, I hope it's like that." Norah looked the other way. Although he tried to calm down but actually in his heart was still so chaotic. "I know that right now Mama is very disappointed in Brother Zion. But what can I do? the study that will marry your study will live out its life later. We're not. We can't manage that much" Norah murmured inwardly.
