The 3rd Generation

The 3rd Generation
Chapters. 76

Norah put her breakfast in her mouth. Ever since he entered the room and met Austin again, he had not taken out a single word. Even looking at Austin's face was uninterested.

Austin himself became dispirited to put his breakfast in his mouth. Norah was with him at this time. But the woman's heart and mind are in Cambridge. Austin just won his body. But not with his calm. The woman was not calm when she was nearby.

This is one of the things Austin hated. Norah would rather go with Zion back to Cambridge than be here but his mind is in Cambridge. After all, if he was cured, he would also go to Norah and fight for the woman.

"I'm going to ask people to take you home to Cambridge" Austin said.

Norah was still looking down unwillingly at Austin's face. Suddenly the woman seemed to be sobbing. Her hands wiped away the tears silently.

Austin backed away and leaned back on the back of the chair. The man was out of ways to deal with Norah. This is also his first love. The first time he had a love affair with a woman. First time he's lost distance with a woman. Austin really doesn't know how to deal with Norah. The idea that usually came up and could be used to persuade Norah was now either hiding where. He is usually the one being chased. But this time, it's Austin who has to understand Norah.

"That must have hurt. Norah, don't cry while eating. Tell me where my mistake is. Please don't cry. I feel like a failure as a man if the woman around me cries like this." Austin moved his body again. She held Norah's hand and rubbed it gently. "Don't cry anymore. Tell me. Actually what do you want, "persuade Austin in a very gentle tone. Even Austin himself did not expect that he could be this gentle.

"So I dreamed of GrandNa. He's no Austin." Norah looked at Austin's face. "Even I wasn't present at his funeral. What kind of granddaughter am I?"

Hearing the word GrandNa, not only made a sense of regret in Norah's heart. But in Austin's heart, too. The man regretted that he had attacked to make the old Grandma who used to be called GrandNa was killed.

"It's all my fault, Norah. I brought the Bloods into the house. Until they finally shot your GrandNa. I'm sorry."

"But you did it too because you didn't know you were attacking my family. Austin, you're not wrong." Although there are at least a few Austin's that are wrong. But in Norah's eyes he was still a good man. Norah doesn't want to blame Austin. There is enough pain now in Austin. He was unwilling to make Austin suffer even more because of his guilt.

"You don't have to persuade me Norah. You don't have to entertain me either. Because the only thing that can keep me calm is you." Austin pulled Norah by the hand until she got out of the chair she was sitting in. The man put Norah on his lap. "Don't cry. You look so ugly."

"I am ugly" Norah said.

"Hey, who said that? You're gorgeous. So pretty. You're the only beautiful woman I've ever had in my heart. After my mother."

Norah looked at Austin's face deeply. Austin also lost two significant people in his life. Now Norah does not want to linger in grief. All of that just makes Austin feel more guilty.

"Austin, I love you."

Austin rubbed Norah's cheek. "I love you so much too, Norah. Love you so much." The man gave a brief kiss at the top of Norah's head. "Don't be sad anymore. I don't want you to be sad like that."

Norah nodded while wiping away her tears. "I'm sorry."

"You're not wrong, Norah. Crying is one of the ways our bodies express the feelings we feel. But I just want you to cry because you're happy. Not crying out of sadness. Now, do something for me." Austin tightened his arms around Norah's waist.

"What should I do?'

"Like this?" Norah looked at Austin's face with a beautiful smile on her lips. Even though he smiled, it was still wrong in Austin's eyes. The man knew that Norah was still forced to carve out her smile. He wants Norah to be really happy.

"It's not like that." Austin pulled both corners of Norah's lips and held them for a few seconds. "Now tell me you're happy with me."

Norah scrunched his forehead. "How is it? You pulled my cheek, Austin," Norah said in an indistinct voice.

Austin finally laughed at Norah's cute facial expression. The man still did not even want to let go of Norah's cheek that he had just pulled.

Suddenly Norah also pulled the corner of Austin's lips. He asked Austin to say something. With a frown, the man tried to say something.

"Norah, you're so beautiful."

As it sounded unclear, Norah laughed at hearing it. The woman took Austin's cheek off. And so is Austin. They both laughed at each other's faces.

"You look really ugly, Austin."

"Have you ever looked at me as a handsome man?" ask Austin back.

Norah fell silent before nodding. "You're so handsome. In my eyes, you're a handsome Austin man."

"Unfortunately, all the women I meet always say that I'm very handsome, Norah."

Austin is again narcissistic to make Norah upset. The woman pinched Austin's stomach so strongly. "Oh yeah? Maybe they're blind. Or they're drunk."

"Oh, it hurts Norah!" lirih Austin while trying to remove the pinch Norah.

"ill? Is this so powerful?"

"Yes, you pinched the prick of the coach."

Norah Lang released her with a panicked face. He took Austin's shirt off to check on him. It made Austin laugh again.

"Austin, you pranking me!" norah protest.

Austin only laughed out loud at Norah's angry expression. Behind the door, Uncle Tano also smiled at Austin and Norah's laughter from inside the room. The man felt much more relieved now. Unwilling to interrupt, Uncle Tano placed Austin and Norah's change of clothes on the doorstep. After that he left to complete the task that Austin had given him.
