The 3rd Generation
Chapters. 175

"You okay, Zion? The wound is severe because you forced your leg to move after it was shot," Lana said as she cleaned up the gunshot wound Zion received.

"I'm fine, Oma." Zion smile. "Thank you, Oma. If Oma doesn't come, I don't know how to nasp Opa Lukas. He didn't tell us he was sick." Zion looked at Luke who was soundly asleep. The effect of the medicine he was taking put him to sleep. To the point of no longer hearing what Zion and Lana were talking about.

"What actually happened? Why did the man suddenly admit defeat. Even the people we were dealing with also decided to retreat. Oma asked Austin to go help you. We were really surrounded. We are short of members. Oma had thought that we would be in Las Vegas for a long time." Lana tied Zion's leg with a bandage after successfully removing the bullet inside. The woman looks much more relieved now. He looked at Zion to wait for the man to answer her question.

"I also didn't think that I had such a great ability as Oma." Zion sighed while rubbing her face violently. "The plan Dominic prepared was endless. That man never lost his way to defeat us. The point is that luck is still on our side. Until we can finally go home tonight."

Lana nodded. "From the information Oma heard, you did all this to defend a woman. Is that really Zion?"

"I did all this because Dominic had Abio, Livy and Norah in the hospital, Oma" Zion denied. He won't confess.

"If indeed you did all this for the sake of retaining a woman. Oma could understand. So Oma's question, is that all true?"

"Zion, a woman does need to be fought. Women want to see how much the man loves her. Through this struggle, the woman will judge. The man deserves to be with him or not. Oma is sure your struggle will not be in vain."

Zion shook her head. The more he came here he felt unsure. "But my struggle is enough to get here only Oma. If he really doesn't love me then I won't force him to stay by my side. There was enough suffering my family was facing. Love is totally blind, Oma." Zion smiled looking at Lana. "What used to be the love story of Oma and Opa is also this complicated. At least I know I'm not alone."

Lana gave a small laugh hearing Zion's question. "Rest Zion. You lost a lot of blood and needed a lot of rest. If we get to the hospital, Oma will ask the doctor to check on you. We will discuss this next time. Now was not the right time to discuss such a matter since Oma also had to accompany Opamu." Lana covers Zion's body with a blanket. The woman already regarded Zion as her own biological son. She loved Zion as much as she loved Livy.

"From Oma's gaze I can guess that Oma's love story used to be complicated, too" guess Zion.

"Please take it that way." Lana went straight to where Luke was.

Zion looked towards Lana for a moment before turning her eyes. For a moment the man recalled what had happened. He closed his eyes to rest.
