The 3rd Generation

The 3rd Generation
Chapters. 19

Zion stood her back to Zeroun and Serena. The man is still thinking of ways to find Daisy. There were so few clues that he could not figure out how. The only person he accuses is still Foster. There are no other suspects because all the evidence is headed to Foster.

Although Zion knows Opa Zen can help her find Daisy, she still does not want to ask the old man for help. Zion wants to find Daisy without anyone's help. Especially the experienced greats like Opa, GrandNa and her parents.

"Zion, actually I want to tell you a story. I know this is not the right time. But, take the positive value," said Opa Zen.

Zion twisted her body so that she could stare directly at Opa Zen. The man looked at Serena for a moment before sighing deeply.

"What would Opa want to tell me? I will definitely listen to him" Zion said. The man did not mind at all hearing his Opa story that might be boring.

"First when Opa was young, Opa also lost Opa's sister. She's Oma Zetta." Zeroun looked the other way. "As a sister, it always feels like a failure if our sister is lost or doomed. Whatever we're gonna do for our sister. Even lives will be sacrificed. Seeing the spirit you now have to look for Daisy, Opa remembers Opa as well. Opa doesn't blame you. But think about the feelings of your parents, Zion. They'll worry if you act alone. This is not the right solution. Your mom and dad were angry because they loved you. Opa hope, you don't hate them."

"Opa wrong. Papa was angry because he was disappointed in me. He's angry that I failed to look after Daisy" said Zion. He looked hurt at the words Jordan had said to him.

Between Zion and Jordan, there was some debate. The father and son were both stubborn. They held their own positions without giving up. Leona invites Jordan away because she doesn't want things to get complicated.

Serena who saw Zion and Zeroun in a wheelchair could only smile. Zion is very similar to Leona when she was young. Whatever he decides has to happen like that.

"It looks like Leona lowered her stubbornness to Zion and Norah. It is fortunate that Daisy inherited her Oma Emelienya. He looks elegant and smart. I don't know what would happen if the descendants of Leona and Jordan were all three as stubborn as their mother," Serena murmured inwardly.

Remembering the name Emelie makes Serena remember Daniel again. I don't know what fate has written, until old age like this. He and Zeroun are left behind by their respective spouses. Emelie left after one year of Daniel's departure. Zeroun who had strengthened Serena so as not to grieve in the end was also devastated by the loss of his beloved wife.

Zeroun looked at Serena who now looked sad. The man massaged his already wrinkled forehead. Actually it is no longer his duty to interfere in his grandson's problems like this. Even Zeroun thumbs up looking at Zion Zein's courage to take a decision like this. It's just that he doesn't want Jordan and Zion to fight like that. This forced him to intervene.

"alright. It's up to you. Whatever you have planned, Opa can only pray that Opa's grandchildren are fine. But, can Opa give you a clue to facilitate Daisy's search?" take Zeroun so seriously.

"No, Opa. Nah! I know Opa already knows something. Maybe even now Opa already knows where Daisy is and how she is. Isn't that Opa?"

"No. Opa doesn't know. Lately, Opa spends more time at home. GrandNa knows everything." Zeroun looked at Serena. "Zion, you should know one thing. Your grandna wouldn't be sitting here if Daisy was in danger."

Serena carved a smile. He looked towards Zion. "Zion, do what you've prepared. Take Livy and Norah. GrandNa is sure you can find Daisy" Serena said. He just wanted to give his grandson some spirit.

"Thank you GrandNa. Grandna and Opa Zen have always understood me."

Livy stood a few meters away from the location where Zion was. The woman looked happy to hear the conversation of three people who were on the side of the river.

Livy scrunched his forehead. The woman stepped closer to Zion. He glanced at Serena at a glance before looking at Zeroun and bowing respectfully.

"Good night, Opa. How are you doing? Livy heard that Opa's health has been declining lately" Livy asked in a soft tone.

"That's a natural thing, Livy. Opa is old. It's only natural for Opa to be like this. Have you met Opa Lukas and your Daddy? What did they say?"

"They just want me to take The Filast while searching for Daisy's whereabouts" Livy replied as was.

"Yes, good advice. They just want you to be in charge of the gang you've formed. Even if you're a woman, you still have to be strong, Livy" Zeroun said excitedly.

"Thank you, Opa." Livy looked towards Serena. "Grandna, it's night. The wind here is very cold. It's best that GrandNa doesn't linger here. Not good for GrandNa's health."

"Thank you, dear Livy. Grandna was leaving. Uncle Aleo was already waiting for GrandNa at a hotel nearby. Tomorrow morning GrandNa will leave for Cambridge. Grandna will be there until Daisy gets home" Serena replied with a smile. Somehow he believes strongly in Zion and believes that Zion can bring Daisy home before the party arrives.

"Grandna just calm down. Livy will help Zion find Daisy. Daisy's Livy's sister."

"Thank you dear." Serena pulled out a gun and thrust it at Zion. "This weapon always brings good luck to GrandNa's life first. Now Grandna wants you to be the owner of this gun. Though he was old, his rope was quite reliable."

Zion received the firearm and watched it closely. His eyebrows intertwined to see a small silver-colored writing there.

"Queen Star?"

Serena and Zeroun looked at each other before looking towards Zion again. Indeed, all this time Queen Star was lost in the swallow of the earth. What really happened was that Queen Star still existed. However, Letty and Letty's descendants have it. Serena doesn't want to know anymore. He felt he was no longer entitled there even though he was actually the second generation Queen Star at that time.

"It's just a trademark" Zeroun said. Now is not the right time to tell Queen Star to Zion. Right now they just need to focus on Daisy's search.

"Trademark? Wow, what a name," said Livy.

"Thank you, GrandNa. Zion's gonna keep this weapon like GrandNa's been guarding Zion all this time."

Serena just nodded softly at Zion's promise. "Time keeps passing. I was the one standing there holding the gun. Now, my granddaughter who stands up and will use it," murmured Serena inwardly.
