Leona and Daisy hug each other while waiting for the doctor and the other medical team who are struggling inside the operating room. Jordan stood by the door leaning back. He thought about his family. Blaming himself for the problems that plagued his family.
"Leona, what about mom?"
Aleo appeared along with his wife and daughter. The man looked very worried. He panicked to the point that he no longer cared about his wife and daughter who were still running around back there.
"Sister." Leona could not continue her sentence. He immediately hugged his sister and cried. Even though he was old like this, he still needed his brother's embrace.
"Leona, what exactly happened? Why was mom shot? How's the defense in my house?" Aleo wanted to protest and blame initially. However, when he recalled that Norah was dead, he held back his words. He knew how tormented his twin brother was right now. She has just lost her daughter and now has to watch her parents get hurt and critical.
"Mama brother. What about mama? I don't want mama like this" said Leona again.
Aleo closed his eyes and hugged Leona tightly. The man looked at Aleo who was now standing with a guilty face. Tamara and her daughter had also just arrived beside Aleo. The woman held onto Leona's shoulder and rubbed it gently.
"Leona, you have to be strong. We're all being tested. I'm sure, all the problems we face, there will be happiness we receive." Tamara tries to make Leona calm again. He is not as strong as what he says. His daughter had to wash her blood after being sentenced to cancer. This keeps Tamara and Aleo busy with their daughter.
"I didn't think this would happen." Leona took off her embrace. She looked at Tamara and wiped her tears. "I just strengthened my heart to let go of Leona. Now, I have to stand in front of the operating room waiting for the critical news. Sis, have my past sins not paid off yet? To the extent that at my present age I have to pay for it with a million times the pain that so stifles my chest?"
"Leona, don't ever regret what happened. We all can get through it. You have to be strong." Tamara hugged Leona.
"Where's Serena? Is she okay? I'm sure he can get through all this. It's just a small shot" Zeroun said.
Zion's approaching Daisy. The woman was still looking down while covering her face. He cried because he did not want anything bad to happen to his GrandNa.
"Daisy, are you okay? What did the doctor say?" asked Zion in a soft tone.
Daisy lifted her head and immediately hugged Zion. He again cried and hugged Zion so tightly.
"The doctor said, GrandNa is critical. Grandna State ...." Daisy spoke with sobbing.
Zeroun who heard Daisy's reply clenched his hand tightly. He walked towards the wall before hitting his hand there until it bled.
"No!" Jordan held onto Zeroun's hand with an angry face. "This is not the right solution, pa. Injuring yourself will not change things. Mama Serena is already inside. That's reality. Whatever we do can't make Mama Serena stand in front of us!" Jordan was really angry. He held Zeroun's hand back so as not to torture himself anymore.
"I failed to look after him. Daniel must be mad at me ...."
