Arthur massaged his throbbing temple, he had just arrived at the inn and dropped his body on the sofa. For a few minutes he was silent, as if he was thinking about something. And Darren realized what Arthur was thinking. Especially if it's not about Sean? The man was at the target point and Arthur and himself were there. Of course it would raise a lot of questions in Sean's mind. He was very sure if Sean would investigate further until the man got an answer that felt reasonable and satisfying.
"That...." Darren could stand it no longer when only silence surrounded them. He needs to talk about this, right now.
Arthur still did not reply, but his ears heard Darren's call.
"It looks like we'll have to reorganize the strategy. It's certain Sean won't be quiet and will investigate our whereabouts in that place." Little does Darren know about Sean, the man is from the Spetsnaz Army, a special forces army that is feared around the world, even almost all Mafia kingpins avoid dealing with the Spetsnaz. Besides being able to destroy them to the root with the permission of the government, the Spetsnaz Army is able to form a defense that is difficult to be penetrated by mafia-mafia like them.
"I know Der and now I'm thinking!" Arthur's voice snapped slightly. He really has a headache right now. Not just stuck in a situation he doesn't want to be in, but he did not like Sean because a few years ago he had wanted to disperse the Black Lion who never touched and even nudged Sean and his troops. Black Lion is not like other mafia syndicates, although they always smuggle illegal weapons, but they never harm the local community, do not kill innocent people. Black Lion will only fight to expand its network to become number one within the underworld.
"Sid, call Pier to come here. Shouldn't he have arrived in Russia tonight?" arthur says he remembers the conversation he had with Pier last time to handle the Austin case and his friends.
"Hem, I'll call him. But what did you call him to come here for?" Darren was really curious about what Arthur was planning and honestly he couldn't guess.
Arthur fix both elbows on his knees, his fingers hooked each other. "Just to trick. Sean would follow my activities while in Russia and you know me who doesn't want my personal life investigated by anyone else, even if he's Uncle Sam's nephew."
"I understand. I'll call Pier right away and Sean's problems, you take it easy, I've arranged your schedule while in Russia." Fortunately Arthur has friends and accomplices who are so deft as Darren, able to deal with anything.
The door that was knocked repeatedly made Arthur and Darren turn towards the door. They cast a glance at each other, as both did not feel they had an appointment with someone and Darren had warned the hotel not to disturb them for the next few hours. Hearing the knock the longer the more impatient the knock, in the end Arthur told Darren to open the door. Darren nodded, he darted towards the door and immediately opened the door for whoever it was.
"Why just open the door do I have to wait this long?!" Someone had just gawked in, forcing Darren to get rid of it because his body almost filled the door, and the man immediately buried his body on the sofa. After Darren closed the door, he joined the two.
"Why did you come here?!" spray Arthur to the man who unshakably sits on the sofa facing him. "You should finish your business so you can get back to London sooner!"
"I've taken care of Pablo and I have to find Todd before that shitty army finds him first!" Yes, the one who came was Mikel. After taking care of Pablo and handing him over to Sid as well as Uncle Josh, Mikel chooses to meet Arthur.
Arthur flinch, he understands who Mikel is referring to. Who else if not Sean.
"And one more thing, whether this is your plan or not, but I obviously don't like anyone getting close to Elie!" Arthur's forehead frowned deeply upon hearing Mikel's words that suddenly turned to Elie.
"What do you mean?" arthur asked confusedly and urged Mikel to speak at the core.
But instead of directly answering, Mikel just clucked fiercely. He was upset with Arthur who pretended not to know, but he was very sure if maybe this was the act of a annoying man in front of him.
To answer Arthur's confusion, Mikel throws his cell phone at Arthur, who Arthur immediately catches. Otherwise, maybe Mikel's expensive phone has landed on his face.
With an annoyed look, Arthur looks at Mikel's phone and his eyes are glued for a moment to a photo with the caption 'the only daughter of Mr. Xavier Alexander Romanov was found dating a very handsome young man'. And looking at the photo that was plastered so clearly it almost filled the news today.
Arthur did not react, nor did he give any response. So that made Darren curious and he immediately checked the news portal today. Just like Arthur, Darren was silent for a few moments when he saw the man standing by Elie's side, even embracing Elie's shoulders affectionately.
"Is this you? You sent a man to be with Elie?!" mikel railed. Not caring whether Arthur will be angry with him or not, which is clear at this time he is angry because he found his woman dating another man.
The news is so overblown, Arthur's mind sneers at some of the portals that make the news ordinary but are heralded as such.
BRACKET!
"Say! Is this you?!" Mikel kicked the table, shaking the miniature standing upright on the glass table until it changed position.
Arthur is still unmoved, letting Mikel assume nothing of him.
"You??!" Furious really. Mikel got up, he wanted to pull the collar of Arthur's clothes but Darren immediately stopped him.
"Don't make a fuss. It's best not to suspect Ar because he doesn't know anything."
Mikel who was overwhelmed by emotion just clicked her tongue hearing Darren's speech.
"Don't you say yourself that Elie's free to date other men? Then why are you like this?!" arthur said as he moved and his words further ignited Mikel's emotions.
"I'm going to kill that guy!" mikel did not care if he had to swallow his own words at that time. He was so heavy-hearted when he said such a foolish thing.
"Then you'll be dealing with Elie. He'll hate you!" Arthur smiled, really enjoying the anger of Mikel who was hit by jealous fire. He would not judge Elie to be close to anyone, for her sister was a free woman. Provided that the man has a good background, no matter rich or just ordinary people.
The more chaotic Mikel heard Arthur's call. Was the man so precious to Elie that the woman would hate him so much if she eliminated him?
"Arrgghh!!" Mikel kicked the table. The standing miniature jumped into the air and eventually fell on the floor. "I'll make sure Elie's mine! You or anyone else won't be able to separate me from him!" Mikel's hands clenched, gathering those stifled emotions there. Really he wanted to punch anyone, but there was no way he punched Arthur's face which would definitely make their relationship that had improved again become tenuous. To fade his emotions, Mikel prefers to go from there, he opens the door violently and closes it with a stirring buzz of things in there.
"Kh...." Arthur clucked to see Mikel's departure. He had no intention of separating them.
"Doesn't it matter she's mad like that Ar?" Darren asked to make sure. He just doesn't want the two to go back to dealing with situations and relationships that become more complicated.
"Leave it. If his emotions had subsided, he would have come to see me!" Arthur knows Mikel very well, the man will get angry suddenly but will eventually get better on his own.
