Fierce Dispute
For God's sake, Elie did not intend to carry Helena's name and cornered the woman who had become her sister-in-law. It's just that he felt disappointed by Arthur's attitude and actions that were certainly supported by Daddy Xavier.
"Now tell me, what should we do? Do Ar and Daddy want to separate me from Mike?" Elie asked with a serious glint of eyes tucked in anger. Even trying to stretch the distance from his own family. Somehow this time he felt foreign and so distinguished. Is it because she is a woman and has no right to make her own decisions? thought.
"Say I have to how?!" continued. The intonation of her voice rose slightly and for the first time her family saw Elie's overflowing anger. Because usually the woman prefers to be quiet or silence everyone who has upset her instead of having to blow up anger.
Seeing Elie still wanting to explode, Mike walked over, pulled his wife's arm and brought her to his side. "Nobody wants to separate us Sweetheart, calm yourself, hm." Mike rubbed Elie's back, hoping that calmness could be channeled through his strokes. This isn't what Mike wants, he doesn't want to make Elie think badly of her own family.
"I'm just disappointed, all this time I never asked for anything and always obey the words of Daddy and Brother Ar. This time I just want them to understand my wish to be with you. But Kak Ar just kicked you out, as a woman who has become your wife I do not accept."
Mike quietly listened, even everyone also silenced to hear the words of Elie. And there was a sense of pleasure that infiltrated Matthew and Aprille's heart because Elie was defending their son who had become the husband of the woman. While Elleana who heard the contents of her daughter's heart did not escape the pain. As a mother she never distinguished her son and daughter, all she considered equal and wanted happiness for them.
"Hubby, stop it. I don't want you guys fighting with our daughter." Elleana fully defended her daughter, regardless of what they did. He tried to understand and position himself if he was in Elie's position. She was young and understood how her daughter felt.
"So you're justifying the way he married our daughter without asking permission first, Sweety? Aren't you disappointed, he doesn't seem to think of us as parents to the woman he loves." Xavier cupped both shoulders of Elleana, feeling his wife this time out of step with him.
"If it says disappointed of course I'm disappointed, I want to accompany and see our daughter at the altar, but Mike married Elie without our knowledge. Who is not disappointed? you and Ar are also disappointed by Mike's actions. But it's all happened, Elie and Mike are married. Are you and Ar thinking of separating them?" elleana tries to think wisely. She does not entirely blame Elie and Mike, she understands that the two are desperate to get married because of the attitude of Arthur and her husband who always interfere in Elie's affairs.
"I just don't agree with her stupid act of marrying Elie without our consent" Xavier exclaimed.
"Then they just need to repeat the blessing and you can take Elie to the altar." What Elleana said left Xavier stunned, just as easily as his wife accepted their marriage?
"Sweety..."
"That's enough!" Elleana interrupts the husband who wants to protest not accept. "Don't prolong this kind of problem. Your stubbornness could hurt Elie and destroy our friendship with Matt and Aprille."
The Zayn family was really amazed by the figure of Elleana who could always be a mediator. Zayn wanted to chim in and become oil among the burning flames, but Angela held Zayn's arm and even pinched her husband's waist so as not to interfere.
Arthur breathed his breath violently. He looked at his parents alternately and found Daddy Xavier unable to dwell. Then I looked at Elie and Mike. "I still don't accept it, I don't agree!"
Arthur was silent for a moment, trying to digest what his wife said. He knew that Helena mustered full courage when she said it. "Come here" he said asking the woman to come closer to him. He was not angry, could never be angry and did not want to make his wife afraid.
Helena complied and she immediately went into Arthur's arms, and she could feel her husband's chest rising and falling with emotion. But fortunately if his actions interjected did not impact her husband's anger.
As soon as the atmosphere became so silent, no one wanted to make a sound. Even Elie who had been stirring earlier seemed silent when Helena actually defended herself. He really felt guilty because everything Arthur said was true, if all this had nothing to do with Helena.
"Well, Mom agrees with Helen, too. Mike and Elie are married. We just need to get them back together." Elleana split the silence that occurred during those few moments.
"Sweety...." Xavier is anxious with his wife, he has not accepted and is not satisfied to see Arthur give a lesson to Mike.
"Have Hubby gone, we're getting older, much less what we'd expect other than the happiness of Elie, Ar and As." Elleana persisted with her decision. He just wants in his old days with his husband there is no problem whatsoever and just need to draw grandchildren from them.
Xavier took a deep breath and slowly exhaled. I don't know if he's keeping the frustration to himself. Xavier's gaze then turned to Arthur who was also staring at him. For a moment they cast a glance before finally sighing at each other.
"I'll consider it and throw a party for Ar and Elie" Xavier said briefly without slipping in the slightest smile. The party that will be held for Arthur and Elie with their respective partners of course.
Elleana's lips curled, if her husband had said so it means marked agree. "You heard, baby, your Daddy is going to have a party for you and Ar" he told Elie. His daughter was certainly developing a smile. Finally the fierce dispute was resolved with a cold head.
