The Fucking Night
The frenetic sound of loud music makes a woman follow her rhythm by occasionally nodding her head and shaking the champagne glass that has a high shape and shrink at the top, before then sipping back.
Stamped the slender glass onto the table to vent his frustration. Sure enough, he had waited for almost an hour like a stupid woman and a lonely woman. Just look, at this moment a few pairs of eyes were staring pity at him. Maybe they thought he was heartbroken and decided to go to a bar to have fun with alcohol. Come on, she's not the type of woman who will mourn the fate of her love. Although deep in his heart he wants his love avenged by a cold man who is none other than Darren. But there are times when he is also tired of chasing someone who is difficult to reach.
"Ck, why do I suddenly miss him?" Veronica clicked her tongue and looked for herself who always missed Darren. And since a few days ago he decided to busy himself by accepting a shooting job in Bristol, the goal is not to think about the man anymore.
Is he tired of chasing after that man's love? I don't know, Veronica herself doesn't understand. On one hand he thirsted for the caress of a man's affection, so it crossed his mind to accept another man who tried to approach him. But on the other hand he could not give up and just leave the man. It's hard to love someone who doesn't love them. But even so, he felt happy because Darren seemed to have not refused his presence, unlike the beginning of their meeting.
Veronica then sighed into the air. Looks like he has to keep fighting for Darren's heart and love. "You can Vero. A little more he'll be yours." The woman tried to give her spirit to herself. Ah, imagining the man will reciprocate her feelings makes the corners of her lips curl perfectly.
Now his mood suddenly changed for the better, making him pour champagne back into the glass and immediately gulp it down.
After placing the empty glass on the table, Veronica again swept her gaze around. Hope he finds Larry among the crowd. But unfortunately his friend has not returned or maybe just forgot himself in the bar.
"Damn Larry. He must've forgotten me and had fun with Vallen!" Who wouldn't be upset if Larry had said he'd only take Vallen for a minute. But half an hour passed the annoying man had not yet returned. At first he had no problem letting Larry drive his girlfriend. Because I felt sorry to see Vallen who was very drunk. Naturally, Vallen was not strong to drink like himself, because the lover of Larry was a typical woman who was innocent. It was fortunate that Larry got a nice woman like Vallen, who was able to make Larry move on from Elie.
"Ah, had Darren been half of Larry, I probably wouldn't have had any trouble approaching him." He was very sorry for Darren's cold nature. But even his little heart greatly admired the nature of the man who was not easily tempted by any woman.
Unknowingly Veronica's gaze fell on the figure of a stranger in her past. The man he really didn't want to see again his whole life.
"Well, why is he here?" Veronica grieves seeing her ex-lover. Moreover, the man smiled disgustingly towards her. Ah, goddamn. His intention was to leave, but he was already trapped. The man first walked towards him with two glasses of drink and now without permission sat right in an empty chair in front of him.
"How are you? I didn't expect to see you here." Unlike the man who smiled happily, Veronica actually floated a lazy look as well as disgust. He remembered the man's love for Barbara. Ck, what a pesky he is tonight, left alone and met his ex-lover.
"Did your head just hit something? Why is it suddenly being nice to me?" Yes, Cade. That man is Cade, his fucking ex-girlfriend. Wasn't their last meeting not good? Then why did the man act as if nothing had ever happened. Though clearly Cade was beaten all out by Darren.
Cade chuckles. He was not offended by Veronica's words. "What's wrong with me saying hello to my ex-boyfriend?"
There is no harm. Veronica still felt strange. Suspicious, insider.
"I happen to be having fun with my friends. Look, they're all my friends." Cade spoke again and showed the whereabouts of his friends, both male and female friends. After finishing meeting with clients, Cade took the time to refresh his mind with his friends.
Whatever. You think I care!
The woman sat up by rolling her lazy eyeballs. What did Cade tell him? He didn't care if the man had fun or died.
"Have you spoken?" Veronica's response was completely unfriendly and seemed to hate the man before her. So that makes Cade put on a disappointed face.
"Oh Vero, let's forget what happened. I completely forgot everything that happened between us. I broke up with Barbara and now I'm enjoying my solitude." If Veronica looks to hate him, of course, Cade must first start approaching the woman, such as the first time they met until finally dating once and decided to be in a relationship.
Forgetting your head! I'm really fed up with you and hope for our last meeting tonight.
The woman stared sinisterly after cursing at the man inwardly. "Listen Cade, I don't care if you break up with Barbara or anyone else. Whatever it is about you, I don't want to know anymore! Have you forgotten that I already have a richer lover than you?!" Veronica snorted in annoyance. In the end he had to go back to reminding his fake lover. "Ah, sorry Darren, I'm using you again" he said in his heart.
"Where is your rich girlfriend? Shouldn't he be here with you?" Very clear if Cade is mocking and insinuating him.
"He's busy. Unlike you who have free time to play around with many women!"
Again the man clenched one hand. This woman before him was really spicy-mouthed. Ah, suddenly he wanted to feel again the sweet lips that he had always kissed and he pangut wildly.
"That's it. You're just wasting my time. I have to leave immediately, my lover will be angry if I talk to another man." Veronica immediately stood up from her chair and was about to walk away, but Cade first held her wrist.
"Hey, I'm not done talking, Vero." Cade didn't accept being left out. He also stood up.
"But I'm done." Veronica tried to pull her hand from Cade's. But it was very difficult because Cade was so strong to hold it.
"I'll let you go after we toast. It's a pity it's not that the expensive drinks I ordered for you are left behind." Both of Cade's eyes were filled with plea, the man hoping that if Veronica would be willing to toast him before he finally let the woman go.
Veronica seemed to be pondering, she looked into Cade's eyes which seemed to be earnest with her words.
"Well, just a toast, right?" In the end Veronica did not refuse so as to make Cade widen his smile. Then the man picked up one of the frothy drinks.
Veronica accepted it without hesitation. There was nothing strange about the white wine that Cade gave.
"Return!" exclaim Cade excited.
Ting
The sound of glasses clashing against each other. Veronica immediately sipped the drink first, then followed by Cade. The man displayed a satisfied smile as Veronica finished the drink from him.
"You satisfied?" Veronica exclaimed with an annoyed look. He placed the empty glass roughly on the table.
Cade chuckled with a nod of his head. "Now you can go."
"That's what I wanted from before." And the woman walked away without looking back.
While Cade looked at Veronica's back which slowly disappeared among the crowd. Before he finally stood up to catch up with his ex-lover.
