Austin single-handedly ran towards the Babylon Pavilion. He must arrive in time before Maxime takes Licia away from there. Not minding the faint sound that snaked in his ears, he ran through the empty land that was quite large, until finally the white building was in sight.
But suddenly his shoulder was held by someone, even though Austin ran so fast, but someone was able to reach him.
Almost Austin brushed off the hand that was on his shoulder and even wanted to slam the man who was trying to hold it. But it's downplayed, because the one who held him back was Jacob. The two were breathing heavily and trying to breathe oxygen into each other. Jacob ran because he was chasing Austin, he was forced to chase because Austin had ignored his screams.
"Don't be rash As. We saved Licia together," he said after being able to catch his breath. Previously he felt suspicious of another building a few meters away from him, so he decided to look at the building. But he caught Austin running towards the building, so he concluded that Licia was there and tried to catch Austin.
"We don't have much time Jac, that bastard will take Licia away from here."
"Huh? What?!" Jacob squealing.
But Austin just crossed Jacob and ran back, ignoring the dumbfounded Jacob. A few seconds later, Jacob realizes that Austin has passed and soon follows, followed by several men.
Austin's faster pace delivered him right in front of the gates of Babylon Pavilion. Instead of kicking the wooden gate, Austin climbed up. Jacob saw how Austin climbed easily and jumped over the gate. He did not want to climb the wooden gate.
Sure enough, from their current position had one car ready to leave the Pavilion. Maxime who just came out of the building with Licia's hand. Austin and Jacob instruct some men to surround the car so Maxime can't escape.
Their very timely presence is like a bomb to Maxime. Because he was already trapped and there was no way he could get out of the Pavilion. Maxime was forced to step back and immediately hid Licia behind his body. The figures of Austin and Jacob stared at him with giddiness and hostility.
"Shyit!!!" Maxime. Apparently he was surrounded.
"Bag, give me my sister back!" Jacob moved forward and it made Maxime step back.
"I won't let you take Licia away from me! Lia is mine!" Maxime is undaunted. He kept what should have been his.
Jacob glared, he did not suspect the man's response. "He's my brother and you want to forcibly take from his family, huh!" Of course not accept, Licia is hers and both her parents. On what basis did that bastard claim Licia as his own.
Maxime chuckled, then screeched cynically. "Sad, even though he's your brother, but right now all he knows is me."
"You....!!" Jacob furious. Of course Licia only recognized Maxime, because of course her sister was affected by the medicine given by the bastard. "I swear I'll skin your body!" his mouth is full of anger. He would completely skin Maxime's body if he and Austin managed to retrieve Licia from the bastard before them.
Maxime laughed instead of feeling threatened. "Please. As long as you can." With a dismissive smile pinned on the corner of his lips.
What an unexpected reaction. Maxime did not seem disturbed by their bluff. Jacob and Austin lose their patience.
Austin approached one step. He alternately looked at Maxime and Licia who were angled to the left shoulder side of the man. It was obvious that the girl was scared.
"Maybe you love her, but not with Licia. Do you think he loves you?" And Austin tried to give some understanding. "No. He only thinks of you as a friend."
Maxime shook his head, refusing to accept the statement that was intentionally emphasized. "No. Licia loves me too. We've loved each other for a long time." The look in his eyes implied an obsession that he thought was love. He loves Lich and wants to live with her.
"Ck, relax. You're just obsessed with my sister!" And Jacob openly sparked his opinion, he could judge if what the man felt to his sister was not love, but obsession alone.
"Say no yes no! I love him not obsession!! I LOVE HER!" It was unacceptable to say that he was only obsessed with Licia, so Maxime emphasized the words from the bottom of his heart.
"Ah, it's up to you!" Jacob rubbed his face rough. He feels frustrated talking to a man as crazy as Maxime. "I don't care what you say, but give me back my sister. He doesn't deserve you!"
"I'm the only one who deserves to be with him!" Fear suddenly struck. Maxime is terrified to death if Jacob and Austin manage to snatch Licia from him. Then he turned to Austin. "You...!" pointed sharp. "You don't deserve to be with Licia. You won't be able to take it from me!" Yeah, he can sense that Austin has feelings for his girl. So that as much as possible he should keep the man away from him.
Licia's wrists were tightly held. He would not let go of the girl's hand, even if he had to die.
"Licia, come here" said Austin, softening his voice. Wishing the girl still recognized his voice and would follow him.
"No Licia, don't listen to him!" Maxime pulls Licia and gradually moves away from the girl from Austin.
"Come here, Licia," said Austin, holding out one hand. He was still trying to resuscitate Licia who was just staring blankly at him. Really don't recognize himself.
Maxime's getting riled up. He even tried to block Licia's view from Austin's eyes.
"Licia listen." Maxime cupped Licia's face to reconcile their views. Now Licia's view was only filled with him. "I'm the only one who's good to you. Only I love you sincerely. He is not happy with our happiness. And he's trying to separate us, too."
"No Licia. You don't trust him!" sergeant Austin tries to thwart Maxime's incitement.
Austin's voice slightly managed to distract Licia, the girl glanced briefly at Austin. So that makes Maxime riled. He recaps Licia's face to look at her. "Don't listen to him. You just need to hear and remember my voice."
"Lia!!!" Austin took one step forward. Licia was able to respond to his voice and she felt that slowly the effect of the medicine would gradually fade away.
Maxime. "SILENCE ASSHOLE!" he shouted along with himself who picked up the weapon, which was tucked behind his pants. Then he pointed his gun at Austin.
Austin gasp. He paused his steps. Just like Jacob who just watched. He did not want to act rashly because Licia was right beside the man.
"If you speak again, I'll shoot you in the head right now!" maxime is full of threats. The flames of anger darkened his eyes.
Maxime glanced at Licia who was still silent unmoved. Both of the girl's eyes were glazed.
"Licia, you just need to listen to me" she said back and pulled Licia in her arms.
That instant also Licia nodded, making Maxime pull the corner of her lips upwards. "Goodle. Smart girl. You just need to listen to me because you love me." Again Maxime instilled the opposite word. The man grabbed Licia's hand and placed his weapon on the girl's palm.
"Shoot him for me, Licia," he said, then full of emphasis. Buffalo tub shaken his nose, again Licia obeyed the words Maxime.
Austin certainly doesn't accept it. He even pointed his gun at Maxime. But Maxime takes advantage of the situation, he takes refuge behind the tiny body of Licia. That way Austin can't wiggle.
And in just a moment, I don't know who started it first, both Austin and Licia had already pointed guns at each other. Their gazes met each other, but unfortunately Licia's gaze looked empty.
Maxime smirked in satisfaction, he put his face behind Licia's ear and whispered, "Shoot her, honey. You hated him a lot. Hates him so much." Re-poisoned Licia's brain with her lying words.
Maxime's voice responds to a signal that begins to penetrate Licia's brain. The girl really could not hear any sound. Although Jacob repeatedly yelled at him. Licia would really do what Maxime said. Pull the trigger until then,
