The Curse for Darren

The three handsome men became the center of attention of many eyes there. The visitors certainly know the figure of the third, Arthur Kennard Romanov and his assistant Darren Casey Hamilton and they are no stranger to the man who is the President and owner of MJ Corp, Mikel Jhonson.

Joli and her friend shuddered in horror at the sharp gazes of the three men who seemed to be able to unsheathe into their hearts. The two tried to protect each other, especially when the Heir of the Romanov Family said his wife and sister. Have they made a mistake? Suddenly the feelings of the two women became uncomfortable, they worried about the actions of those who treated the woman so badly that it boomerang for them.

"Joli, how is this, it looks like we're going to get in trouble" he whispered to Joli. Just looking at it proves that the two women who were insulted have a relationship with Arthur and Mikel, two great businessmen.

"Shut up, I don't know either" Joli whispered. His gaze did not move from Helena who was held tightly by Arthur. "Don't the woman really be his wife? How'this? Carol had actually fooled us into making up stories, "her mind was agitated, her tail was glancing at the table, where her friends were looking at her. And Carol, that stupid woman is no longer in place.

"Are you okay, hm? Where did they hurt you?" Arthur's voice split the tension. He examined the condition of Helena who may have wounds on her body.

"I'm doing fine. It was me who slapped him." Helena told me what she did to the woman.

"So you slapped him?" Arthur asked reassuringly and in response Helena nodded her head.

Arthur did not respond, at least he felt a little calm because his wife was not easily oppressed.

"Mike, they insulted me and Helen. They said we both deserved to be beggars and didn't deserve to be in a fancy restaurant like this." Elie pitted, her hands twitching spoiled in Mikel's arms.

"They insult you and Helen like that?" Mikel certainly did not accept. He, Arthur and Darren did hear the insults. Then his gaze turned to stare intently at Joli and the lady friend who stepped back.

"We were. We were not intentionally. We're just kidding." Joli's doing the defense. Had he known if the two women were their women, he would not have been rash.

"You're telling me? You even pushed my shoulder on purpose!" Helena is making a sound. If they both apologized early, he would have let it go.

"He pushed you, Love?" Arthur ensured. I could see his face suddenly darkening.

"really. My shoulder hurts." Helena's palm rubbed the shoulder pushed by the woman.

"I-it's exaggerated. I-I accidentally pushed him and it was just slow." Joli shuddered even more. His temples were soaked with sweat. He held his friend's hand. "So she got in my way first." Turning the facts around, Joli just hoped she would be safe with her words.

Veronica and Darren are just spectators. Moreover Veronica, she does not know the actual chronology. She and Ellie approached when Helena and the woman had a fight.

Arthur clucking. He did not believe the words of the woman before him. "Der, call the restaurant manager!" his orders.

"Good." Darren nodded. He soon passed to call the manager.

The visitors there gossiped and looked pityfully at Joli and her friend. They thought that the two women were really being unlucky for daring to look for trouble with the women of two men who were notoriously cold and merciless to teach a lesson.

Not long after, Darren returned with the restaurant manager. The manager looks dashing and his age is not far adrift with Mikel.

"Sir, what's the matter?" The restaurant manager was nervous. He did not know what had happened so his restaurant was attended by the Heir of the Romanov Family and Mr. Mikel Jhonson.

"So you're the restaurant's manager?" Arthur asked without answering the man's question first.

"True Sir." The handsome manager said politely, he was getting confused and curious. "I'm sorry if I don't understand the intent of Mr. Arthur and Mr. Mikel's arrival. Did any of my staff make mistakes?" tanyanya.

"I just want you to show me the CCTV and send it to my assistant."

"I mean Sir?" The smiling manager showed a confused face. It was obvious that his forehead was deeply wrinkled.

"This woman has insulted my wife and sister." Arthur points Joli through the look in his eyes, so the restaurant manager follows Arthur's line of sight. His face stiffened for a moment, he recognized the bowed woman did not dare to look at him. "If you as the manager and owner of this restaurant do not want to show CCTV here, then do not blame us who will be happy to flatten this place!" Arthur's threat-like warning brings the manager's focus back to Arthur.

"No Sir. I'll show you the CCTV here soon. Please assistant sir follow my staff to the special room." Resignedly. That is all that the manager can do. He did not want his business to be destroyed in the blink of an eye by powerful men like Arthur and Mikel.

Darren understood, he followed the male staff who were already on the side of the restaurant manager. He followed the staff's steps towards the special room.

After the death of Darren and restaurant staff. The restaurant manager apologized repeatedly. "Once again I apologize for making the ladies feel uncomfortable with our other visitors."

Arthur was listening to it. He had heard the apology many times and the manager was tireless.

"What's your name?" ask Mikel suddenly. To be honest he liked the manager's calm demeanor and occasionally gave a brief glance at the woman who was making trouble with Elie and Helena.

"My name is Freddy Russell."

Mike nodded in understanding. "Do you know this woman? Ever since I noticed you've been watching him?"

Freddy was silent for a moment. He hesitated to answer Mike's question. But it feels free it covers up the truth. "Actually he's my lover, sir. He came here to celebrate his success with his friends. But I never thought if he would make trouble with Miss-"

"Helena, she's my wife and my sister Elie." Arthur interrupted first. Tell the identity of the two women who were humiliated by the lover of the restaurant manager. "You should be able to take good care of your lover so as not to have to do something that humiliates you!"

"I understand Sir. Again forgive me for what he did." Freddy bowed as an apology.

"Didn't he have a mouth, huh? So you're the one who should replace him apologizing?" arthur's sarcasm. Since then Helena has tried to calm Arthur by rubbing his arm.

"Sorry Mister..." Freddy's back bowing. Then his gaze turned to Joli, his lover. "Come here. You must take responsibility for your mistakes."

"Inadvertently or unintentionally will not be proven in CCTV footage." Freddy flatly. It is not seen if the manager will defend his lover.

"But Fred...." Joli paused her protest, the woman fell back down when Freddy looked at her sharply.

"Ar, I've got CCTV footage. You can see for yourself." Darren returns with the recording evidence and immediately gives Arthur his phone.

Without waiting any longer, Arthur played the video footage. His face appears flat until the duration of the video is complete.

Joli and her friend swallowed their saliva with great difficulty. Especially Joli, her fear was most obvious. For he not only dealt with two powerful men, but he also had to deal with his own lover. Regretting it for free, it is already in big trouble.

Freddy just saw the CCTV footage that one of his staff had leaked. His disappointment was directed at Joli.

Joli, the beautiful woman cupped her hands together, resting before Helena and the others. Helena was convinced that Caroline, her half-sister, had made up a story. The woman looked up at Arthur.

"It looks like your stepbrother is not deterred, yet" said Arthur softened.

"Hm, I never expected that she would still make up a story that cornered me." Helena's voice rang out softly, making Arthur's blood boil. He should have been able to bring happiness, but it turned out that his wife's family wanted more suffering than he did before.

"You....." Arthur's eyes were on Freddy. "Urus woman! After this don't expect your women to be free to enjoy everything!"

Freddy's speechless. He knows what will happen next with his girlfriend. And Joli was getting more and more frightened at such a threat.

"We'd better get out of here Ar, right away" Mike said, breaking the tension. He felt that he had no business anymore after all was resolved.

"Hm...." Arthur embraces Helena's waist, then breezes away following the steps of Mike and Elie who had already stepped out.

Darren and Veronica who were silent also followed. Now what must be underlined is to never try to touch women from both cold men like Arthur and Mikel, if you do not want to bless like the two women.

"Awv...." Veronica squealed as her head hit Darren's strapping back, as the man stopped abruptly.

"Der, please take Vero to his apartment." Elie's words were not immediately answered by Darren, the man glanced briefly at Arthur who was seen nodding.

"All right....." After being confirmed by Darren, they rushed into the car. Leaving Darren with Veronica.

The woman still rubbed her forehead and Darren did not care about it, even if it was just a small talk.

"Come on Miss." Darren opened the door for Veronica.

"Ck, there's no need to be sweet like this. I can open it myself." Despite saying so, Veronica kept getting into the car. "At some point I have a lover who will pick me up anytime and"

Veronica's sentence was interrupted because Darren closed the car door without caring for the woman who was still talking.

"Geez, he's totally outrageous. Hopefully later he falls in love with a troublesome and annoying woman!" his murmur was annoyed by an anathema to Darren.
