Kenzo tried to digest the words of his father. If her father had said so, it would mean that Keiko had already spoken to Ojisan Hiroki and his father.
"Pa, don't talk nonsense. Kei couldn't possibly want to have a stiff lover like Darren," she chanted with laughter. Kenzo tried to cover up the anger he felt.

"Do I have a secret guard, Larry?" terrify. Whether true or not, Veronica just guessed the origin.
Larry chuckled after taking his soda. "So you think you have a secret protector? Or maybe secret admire, right?" And as her answer, Veronica nodded.
Larry seemed to think then said, "Yes, you could really have a secret admire. After all you're so lucky, you've always been spared the danger that you could even walk away from a jerk like Cade."

Veronica reminds Larry of events in the past, where when their relationship lasted a month, Cade does not like his closeness with Larry. They have been friends for a long time. While the woman was smiling alone, she was thinking about her man. It's been almost a week not seeing Darren, so that makes his longing even more fluffy.
