The Count Family's Young Master

The Count Family's Young Master
Chapter 1 - Repatriation

A 24-year-old man was walking along a river filled with rubbish. Which is now being cleaned by three old men on a canoe. Spreading a wide net to catch the garbage. (a/n: we live in Indonesia so this is local wisdom ⁇ )

He sighed. Trying to breathe fresh air. But then he realized that he could not expect anything from his current location in the middle of the city.

Abimala's mind dissolved in the incident three hours ago.

"Sir Abimala. Our team heard reports that you were manipulating financial records."

Abimala who heard the accusation had a flat face.

"I can't give you proof, but I never did."

If someone else is in their position they may panic and start brainwashing about how to deny the accusations leveled at them. Bring God's name if you feel the need. But Abimala didn't even try. He accepted everything that was going to happen.

Accepting events that are only the culmination of all kinds of events that Abimala has experienced for a year and a half working in the company where he is.

Do not have enough money to study in the famous department of—especially at a university that is targeted by many people. He comes from a village far from the city and has long experienced violence from his uncle. Quietly enroll in a university with the most affordable fees that can be covered with money results of winning a scholarship competition in his city now.

Abimala did not have much desire in his life. But one of them was to escape from his uncle's grasp. His uncle is a thug in the village where he has spent six violent years since his father died. His uncle had power in the neighborhood and if Abimala wanted to escape, then the only way was to get out of the neighborhood completely. Living in a new environment. Without anybody.

He graduated from the university in 4 years like a student/student in general. S1 majoring in art.

He already had a shadow about what effort he would make after graduation. But then the boss at the restaurant where he works part-time as a pramubakti suddenly calls out to him.

"Abimala. I have heard your background. Your work has been good all along. I hope I can give you a chance to get a better job. My sister has an event organizer. If you work there, you can certainly earn more than in this restaurant after graduating from college. You're an art boy, aren't you? Your work should be good there."

Abimala. Abimala was not the type of person who would turn down the opportunities he had. So he accepted it.

He joined the company. A month after he got his degree and resigned from the restaurant, his boss, who was an angel of blessing, died of heart disease.

As a sign that the blessing is no longer valid, some suspicious events occur.

Her boss's lover now—kakak from her late former boss—inspiring interest in Abimala.

The news that he was flirting with his own boss' lover spread to the ears of his co-workers. As a cliche must walk as a cliche, his comrades shun him. But keep on carrying out heavy tasks on him.

Abimala, used as a scapegoat whenever there are consumers who feel dissatisfied. The result of the work of his colleagues, but Abimala was the one who was used as a raging material. If they happen to be the ones playing the hand, then Abimala will be the target.

He cannot resign because there is a contract he has signed. A contract under which he cannot resign for up to three years. Unless his own boss returns him. Or there will be a fine to be paid.

Abimala certainly chose to continue working there. After all, he still receives a salary according to the contract even though he is known—accused—makes those mistakes.

Then come that second. He was eventually called into a room and heard reports of him manipulating financial records.

Abimala did not force himself to deny. After all, if he is going to be fired, doesn't that mean he can escape from the bondage of the contract?

So, he withdrew from the room where the supervisory team of employees and his boss were.

Funnily enough, his boss's lover—who was the cause of all the events that put Abimala in those difficult conditions—still attaches himself to Abimala. Persuading Abimala to wrestle himself from his boss.

"Abimala! Even after everything I've done, you still don't dare to snatch me from Judah? You wimps! I won't forget you!"

Abimala. Accelerate his steps towards the streets.

During his time working in the event organizer company, he rarely had to wear a uniform. So even now he only wears material pants, and a white shirt without a tie with a jacket draped over the shoulder.

Abimala initially worked in the field. Organize events with his colleagues. As well as playing a role in making the decoration designs that are needed and desired by the client. But since the case of a work error and himself who was used as a scapegoat, the supervisory team began to watch over him.

After such a case happened four times, finally instead of firing him the supervisory team of employees actually decided to make him work behind the scenes. Has Abimala set financial records with some of his new colleagues.

Abimala thought,

Maybe this is the best.

That way he will not be the target of angry consumers anymore. And start trying new areas of work.

But it turns out that even in other fields in the EO company, he was targeted as a source of error. By his new partner, or who. Abimala did not know. Even the figure who became the mastermind of all that misfortune, Abimala did not know. And don't really care.

If it happens, then you.

Abimala sighed once more and decided to sit on the side of the bridge connecting the side of the river with the other side. The bridge, which is famous for its design that does not have a security fence, is almost always crowded by the people of the city who sit on its periphery.

Abimala had just crossed the bridge because of a morning run with the company. And never once sat on the side of a bridge like everyone else.

Abimala carefully sat himself down and carried his back slightly back. Ups its head watching a flock of flying birds that form a triangular pattern above the sky. With one bird flying at the very front receiving the most powerful wind pressure.

Abimala felt his heart tremble. Abimala as a male employee who works in front of a computer in an AC room does not feel the need to bring anything but hp, a little cash, and ATM cards that can all be loaded in his clothing pockets.

Abimala turned on his phone and found a notification of a novel update site that became one of the entertainment in his spare time.

The author is always updating his story chapter on Wednesday in the afternoon hours like now. And now the story has reached its end.

This chapter will be the last.

Abimala suppressed the notification and suddenly a bright light came out of his phone. Making him scream in shock and shut his eyes tightly. Curious about what's wrong with her phone but also feeling that she will only feel regret if she forces her eyes open. So she kept her eyes closed with both hands tightly holding her arms—fearing that her only thing was falling into the river

without realizing the sensation of his floating body, before he sat back down again.

Five seconds later the painful light began to dim and Abimala opened his eyes.

Noticing the dense sensation he had previously held tightly with both hands suddenly disappeared.

"?!"

Abimala reflex advances the body to reach for the flat object when at the same time, her subconscious reminds her that she is sitting on a bridge with a deep, dirty river underneath.

But even though Abimala realized he was too late. His body swung downwards as his eyes blinked at something.

Not water, but..........

Block paving?

Bamm!!!!

"Ukhs.."

Abimala grimacing. Squatting down while cleaning his two dusty palms after he used to hold his upper body from slumping.

He kept patting his palms. Before realizing the strangeness.

Hm?

His rough palm now became soft. Her slightly creamy skin had now turned pale white

"It's.."

.....???

Sounds change. He is past puberty and has become an adult male with a voice that becomes a little heavier.

But my voice just now...

Abimala then felt something comb his neck.

"Huh?"

He jumped up and saw what was behind him.

There's nothing.

The wind blew and Abimala felt the sensation again. Abimala shuddered. But soon restored his calm. After sighing and closing his eyes, he slowly brought his hand to the back of the nape.

O-oh.

It was just her hair.

My hair is long?

Abimala has been used to pull a strand of her hair until it is detached from her scalp if she is bored. He pulled one of the strands and pulled it origin.

A long hair was now in his right hand.

The red?

Little by little his common sense returned and Abimala began to observe the situation.

He was in a park. He was sitting on a big shiny rock. When he fumbled and looked down at the clothes wrapped around his body, he realized his clothes had changed. The white shirt changed a little. The part of his arm became looser with the tip more attached to his skinny wrist.

On his collar was tied a small ribbon with a shiny red stone. His black pants felt narrower but fit well with his legs.

His black sports shoes changed type. Abimala is familiar with such models of shoes but does not know what the term is.

"......."

Abimala suddenly felt cold. The air is colder than in his hometown or town. And Abimala felt that his body was now becoming more frail and weak.

Maybe this is what people with small and thin bodies feel?

His body became light. Much lighter. But not powerful.

Abimala sat himself again on the stone. But nothing happened.

......Let's face it.

Abimala the person who has a simple personality and does not think much. Even if he actually fell into the river and was unconscious—lthen now he is dreaming—or he is actually dead drowned and is in the afterlife—Abimala decided to continue living.

Or die, he doesn't know.

There was only one in the park. And when he decided to enter the building surrounding the park he could only hear the sound of the treads of his shoes touching the floor.

Walls are white and high ceilings.

A home? A school? Or a tourist building?

The existence of the park and the design of the building in his vision reminded him of the pictures of historical buildings abroad.

"Young master?"

Abimala reflexively looked back. Seeing a grandfather with black hair mixed in white who was wearing servant clothes appeared before him.

Oh

Abimala decided to be neutral. He set a flat face and nodded small.

"Yes." Yeah."

The old man folded his hands behind his body and smiled.

......Oh

He was smiling. But his smile felt creepy to Abimala.

......I'm not in a haunted building, am I?

"Did the young master not want to have dinner with the master and mistress?"

His friendly voice still brought a sinister sensation to Abimala. He also noticed that person's speech style was a bit strange. But he was more focused on the fact that the grandfather had a facial expression that provoked suspicion.

Abimala thought

If he's a ghost, as long as he doesn't hurt me, it should be okay, right...?

Abimala remembered her who had not had lunch. The plan to heat up the food he had cooked in the morning for dinner also made him hungry. Perhaps the body he was in had not eaten either.

His body is so light. Shabby, thin, and pale. If Abimala had to use that body for so long he would not have allowed that body to continue in that miserable state. "Hm. I'm gonna eat. Take me to where I can eat."

The waiter frowned slightly but his smile did not change in the slightest. But now his eyes are narrowed. Then his smile widened a little.

"certain. Let me drop you off, young master."

The waiter swung one hand while slightly bending towards the corridor where it had come from. Only when Abimala walked towards him did the servant straighten up and walk quietly in front of him.

Abimala realized something.

.....He didn't make a foot sound.

He shuddered a little but then calmed down again.

They both walked down the corridor. Through the turn, Abimala can see a large room with unique furniture.

The room is bright. And it gave off no haunted aura at all. It is peaceful and warm. The cold sensation of Abimala's body instantly disappeared from the moment he arrived in the room. The servant then knocked on a door that was one and a half tall.

"Sir, madam, this is Alister. Young master Valias decided to join."
