A moaning sound came out from the teenager who was still closing his eyes on the bed. Slowly the teenager rubbed his eyelids. Before the eyes finally opened. Showing brownish black eye beads.
Valias groans. Carrying his body awake while closing both eyes with one hand.
"Young Master."
Directly frowned upon hearing a familiar voice from the side.
Looking up, Alister looked up with both hands behind his body. Putting a smile towards Valias who was still not half conscious from his sleep. "Your Excellency Frey called Miss Mage Mareen." Alister smiled until his eyes narrowed. "She said that your Highness Frey asked you to go to the palace."
Valias. Still feeling sleepy but also wondering why the young man called out to her.
Valias shook his head slowly. Trying to wake himself up.
He slowly lowered his feet to the floor. Establish himself. But his body was a little shabby. Alister grabbed his shoulder and helped the young master stand up.
Alister looked at Valias with his flat eyes.
Why is he so obedient?
If Valias is unable to fulfill the crown prince's call, he simply has to refuse.
But Alister then put on a slanted smile. Let's let him act as he pleases and see what happens.
"Hm." Valias let out a mutter. Tells Alister that he's grateful for helping her keep her in balance.
Valias still wants to sleep. He's feeling very tired.
But Frey called. He's sure something's important. Valias has to get there.
He remembered something. "What about Dina?"
He frowned. He had fallen asleep very suddenly.
p Valias really did not expect himself to faint like that.
He remembered the exhaustion that enveloped him before darkness took over his entire body. But it was too sudden to make Valias wonder to himself. "Miss Dina was shocked and panicked. But this Alister calmed him down. Asking him not to say anything." Alister smiled. "I'm sure the young master is okay and is just a little exhausted."
Valias nodded. Justifying speech.
It would be bad if Dina said something to Hadden. The man will trouble Valias.
He felt himself okay. There's nothing to worry about. And he hopes the people around Valias Bardev think so too.
p
Valias footed. Alister's hands on his shoulders. "I think it's good that you change clothes first, young master." The waiter said.
Valias regained his senses and immediately lowered his head. Look at her clothes that have blood red stains. Although just a little small spot. In addition, his white shirt is tangled because he uses sleep.
Valias nodded. Agree to the servant's words.
Alister helps Valias change his clothes. Even giving Valias a little makeup to make the teenager look fresher even though the original looks pale.
Valias fixed his clothes a little. Before he remembered something and raised his face. "You're going with me."
Alister raised his eyebrows. "Yes?"
Valias grabbed his long red mane and carried it behind his ears. "I have a feeling someone is coming. You should see it too."
Alister did not make a sound in his place.
This was the first time Valias had invited him to the palace. Usually, the young master always refused. He said he wanted to go alone.
Alister looked at Valias who was still fixing some parts of his clothes flat.
Who roughly? Alister wonders.
Let's just take a look. I hope I'll be shown something interesting. Alister grinned thinly.
"I understand. I'll call Miss Mareen here."
Valias gives a nod. Alister went out of the room and returned shortly afterwards. Bringing Mareen the female mage into Valias' room.
"I'm sorry for the sassness, young master."
Valias nodded expressionlessly.
To perform magic moves then one must create a floor pattern first.
When did Mareen do it?
But Valias then ignores that. That's not important. The important thing is that Mareen can do magic to move her.
"He'll come with me." Valias says. He pointed at Alister by looking at him. Mareen was a little surprised. Just this time the red-haired young master asked him to send someone other than himself. He then nodded.
"I understand." he said. Valias established himself at Mareen's designated point.
It was a floor footing not far from Valias' bed. Valias could see a faint pattern on his ceramic floor.
Alister stood beside him. Mareen activated her spell. Making light surround the other two people in the room.
Alister closed his eyes slowly. His lips are smiling. It silently absorbed the sensation of being subjected to the shifting magic that he had not felt for a long time.
Alister opened his eyes slowly as soon as he felt the moving magic light had dimmed. Looking at the large work room he had already visited before.
That's Frey's room.
The silver-haired man was standing in front of his desk. His face looks weird.
His two hands hanging on either side of his body looked stiff. As if he had been waiting for his guest for a few minutes. And it finally looked a little more relieved once it saw the person it was waiting for had come.
"Valias. Ah," Frey looks surprised to see Alister's presence on the red-haired teenager's side.
"I brought Alister with me, your majesty." Valias' voice. Making Frey speechless with a flabbergasted face. His eyebrows shot up and his eyes were slightly rounded. The man gulped before returning to his voice. "alright. If that's what you want then your servant can join us."
Alister who was still standing without taking his eyes off the crown prince noticed a speck of discomfort as well as a hint of shock even the panic from the young king-to-be Hayden.
We were? Alister wondered what the young man meant by 'us'.
Alister looked at the crown prince who turned his face to the side. Lips close. He looked nervous and still shrouded in disbelief. He also sensed Valias who turned his gaze to the side. So Alister took his eyes off.
It silently looked at the existence of four human figures, with pointed ears. And simple clothes covered in robes.
"Aren't they the elves you've met before?" Alister heard the crown prince speak.
"Yes, your honor." Followed by Valias who spoke. "Miss Pralta."
The teenager smiled. Seeing the female elf present among the other three elves.
"Master Valias." Pralta placed his right hand in front of his chest. Subduing his head solemnly. Followed by the other three.
One of them is Rama. "Master Valias." He spoke with great wisdom. Gather all respect and adoration in those two words. "We're coming."
Valias nodded. "Thank you. Please sit down." He extended his hand. Telling the four elves to sit themselves on the available sofa. Frey had no thoughts of the count's teenage son's sass in the slightest.
He's still too shocked.
He was handling the government documents as usual. Breathing out in frustration. Can't wait to leave the responsibility and go to the bedroom.
He was moving his hand writing with his head half-dreaming. When he saw the light coming out of the floor pattern in his room. Followed by the presence of four human figures on the floor pattern. The four of them wore robes that covered their entire bodies and faces.
Frey's heart was racing. Hurriedly stood up as he reached out his hand looking for the sword that usually rested under his desk
But this time the long, sharp object was not there. He remembered he had asked Kalim to clean it up. Makes it more shiny. Because he felt he would not need the object for some time to come. Everything goes on peacefully. There was not the slightest need for him to keep his weapon nearby. There was not the slightest need for her to prepare for self-protection.
His alertness grew - so when he realized one of them was moving his hand towards the head. Pull down hood cloak. To show what was previously hidden behind the brownish-green cloth.
Frey's aghast. His eyebrows shot up and his eyes bulged wide. Mouth gaping. Looking at the shape of the ears possessed by the person who opened the hood of the robe. Followed by the other three.
A gent.
With unusual ear shape.
The usual ear shape Frey sees in the form of sketches in children's books that he used to read when he was little.
Now, he saw four people, having a pair of ears whose shape equaled the shape in the sketchbook drawings he had read.
The first to show his face was a man clearly older than him, but not yet as old as his late father, Chalis Nardeen.
Then a young woman. Also two other people who were tall men who looked slightly older than him.
"Where is Mr Valias?" The man who first opened the hood made a sound. Frey who was still unable to speak could only stutter. With hand fumbling table. Looking for glass balls.
One of the tall young men with pointed ears took out something from under his robe. Making Frey able to see what objects are in the grasp of the elf figure.
"Tartz,"
The man looked. The corner of his eyes looked at the tall young man flat.
The young man looked a little wry-faced. Before putting his sword back into the sheath hidden under his cloak.
"May I know who you are?"
The man asked Frey. Frey, who had discovered the existence of the glass ball, was aghast before swallowing his saliva.
"I'm Frey Nardeen. The future king of Hayden."
He answered with all the courage he had gathered. The elf man nodded. Before then looking at Frey with a hint of honor. "Are we going to be able to meet Mr. Valias, your highness."
Frey swallowed his saliva.
He remembered the words of Valias.
That an elf, or more, would come to him through a coordinate point obtained through the Vetra.
Frey gave me permission for that. But he did not expect the elves would approach him at the present moment. At the time he had a messy appearance as a crown prince. For having pushed himself to finish things before the day of his appointment to become King Hayden arrived.
His appearance at that time was not worthy to show the figure of the future king Hayden. He felt uncomfortable and clumsy.
"I'll call him here." Frey said in a voice as dignified as possible. He also focused all his focus on being able to reach the posture of his crown prince. Makes himself as calm and dignified as possible.
The elf man nodded. "I understand." He then looked. Give a nod.
Which was then avenged by the female elf who was beside him. The female elf stepped her feet towards the sofa of Frey's work room which she had realized. Followed by the other three. Leaving Frey alone behind his desk that was located quite close to the magic pattern on the floor.
Frey saw how the four men stood solemnly behind one of the long sofas. Standing in silence as if waiting for someone to come.
Frey swallowed his saliva. Hurriedly made a call to Mareen who was at Bardev's residence. Hoping that the mage of the woman had not yet immersed herself into dreamland. So did Valias who Frey thought must have fallen asleep overnight now. The pale and frail young man had to rest a lot. It is true that the man has drowned in the dream realm to rest himself.
But only for now. Frey hopes Valias hasn't slept and can take his call.
And now here comes Valias. Standing in front of him. It was permissible for the four elves to sit down with all the calmness and charisma that Frey could feel from looking at the red-haired young man's back.
Slowly the calm approached him. It felt like everything would be fine since the mysterious son of Count Bardev was already present standing in front of him.
Frey slowly tidied up her appearance. Steadied after standing for quite a long time with full of waiting and worry waiting for a young man with red hair to appear in his room. To bring him out of his clumsiness.
Frey sighed silently before noticing the figure of the servant named Alister who was standing still silently in his place. Not moving a bit from his place.
His face did not seem to change at all. It was still flat and gave off an aura that provoked suspicion. But Frey could feel the old man's shock. It is certainly not expected to see four human figures with pointed ears that from the beginning was only considered as the boast of a mere writer.
Alister fell silent in his place.
Justjust wonderful.
He saw how Valias Bardev interacted with one of the elves. Showing things Alister didn't expect at all.
Since when did his young master know that pointy-eared human figure. How he found them. How the four people looked was very accepting of Valias' presence and respect for his figure.
It brought alertness to Alister.
My young master, is no ordinary person.
There is a great deal of mystery that Alister feels from the figure of the young man he served as the mysterious first son of the Bardev family to which he was devoted.
He is waiting for Valias Bardev to show him more.
"Thank you for coming." Valias said as soon as he sat himself on the sofa in front of Rama and Pralta who were sitting together opposite him. While the other two elves stood firm like bodyguards on both sides of the sofa occupied by the couple's father and daughter elves.
"By pleasure, Mr. Valias. We elves will do whatever Lord Valias tells us. Mr. Valias just needs to ask." Rama said with great solemnity and wisdom.
Valias was a little flabbergasted. Didn't expect the elf man would behave like that towards her.
And so is Pralta. Which looks very down. Heading towards himself. It was as if he was a figure so respected by the two elves.
It left Valias confused but he decided to ignore it.
Instead, he realizes Frey's absence. He looked back to see the young man standing behind him. Along with Alister who was also standing behind Frey's left.
"Your highness. Sit down here." Valias tells Frey through an eye. Tell the future king Hayden to sit with him. Facing the two elves who were inside the room.
Frey was a little surprised. Didn't expect the teenager would have him sit face to face with the two elves who previously seemed so indifferent to the fact that he was the future king of Hayden.
Instead, they showed more respect to Valias than he did.
Frey was uncomfortable. But he felt it was unnatural for him as the figure of king Hayden to be afraid of the four elven human figures who still arguably lived in the Hayden neighborhood that was under his control.
Frey with a slightly clumsy gesture brought himself beside Valias and sat himself on the side of the teenager. Valias nodded and returned his attention to the two elven figures before him.
"Hayden will greatly appreciate your help and hold the promise to keep the existence and protect the safety of the elves under Hayden's name." Valias said with complete calm. "For now I just want to bring you together with future king Hayden Frey Nardeen. You'll help Hayden on his behalf. The war will be in nine months. We must gather every available force to meet that day."
Valias' voice echoed in the ears of everyone in the room. Including Alister who felt his eyebrows raised up against what the man had just mentioned.
A war? Hayden's? In nine months? With who?
Alister wondered to himself. While Frey who sat next to Valias widened his eyes and lost his ability to maintain his calm. "Nine months? Will the war happen in nine months? Is that what you saw?" Frey advanced his body in order to be more free to pay attention to Valias' expression. The expression did not change.
The war will happen in nine months, and that is a sure thing to happen.
Frey was at a loss for words and immediately slowly lowered her shoulders. Feeling weak and losing energy.
The elves also shuddered slightly upon hearing the description of the time given by the recipient of the divine blessing before them.
In nine months. They had to prepare for war and fight for the red-haired young man.
While Alister in his place began to analyze the situation with his own head.
Valias Bardev knows what the future holds. With the dream he got as a clue from the god, the man saw what would appear in nine months.
Alister also had to prepare himself if that was going to happen.
Rama had shuddered, but soon gathered his composure. "We understand. Mr. Valias just needs to tell us what we have to do" he said.
Valias nodded.
Already knew what he would ask the elves.
