The Count Family's Young Master

The Count Family's Young Master
Chapter 50 - "Greet him" (1)

Vetra brought himself along with Valias and the two others to the front of the palace building. When they set foot inside, they would be greeted with children playing. That's what Vetra always sees when he visits to just entertain himself. Seeing the children's cheer brings relief to him.

"Come, young master." smile Vetra. Valias gave a nod.

Alister approaches Valias. "It's good you take off your robe, young master." he with his fake suave smile carried both his hands on the cloak hook in front of Valias' upper chest. Half draped his hand on the young man's shoulder to open the hook.

Kei rolled his eyes at Alister but the old servant only gave a backlash.

Valias was slightly astonished by the sudden appearance of the hand with gloves in front of him, but he immediately calmed down. Shut up for a moment to let Alister remove the cloak from his body.

When Alister removed the hook, at the same time the old servant said. "It seems that you've been involved with quite a lot of things without me knowing, young master. Is this one of the reasons you didn't return to the Bardev residence last day?"

Valias did not return three times. The first was when Alister heard news of the appearance of an intruder into the palace.

Valias was involved in negotiations with the intruders. Kei and his group. That's what Alister caught.

The second was when Valias returned in the morning but then left the Bardev residence with a tall man who was currently glancing at Alister with sharp eyes. After his departure with the man, Valias again did not sleep in his own room.

For three days in a row Alister did not bring Valias to sleep. His master was elsewhere, while Alister remained at Bardev's residence.

Alister believes the appearance of the elves and the rescue of Hayden's children, occurred between three days of his young master's unrequitedness.

Isn't my young master so busy?

Alister watched Valias' pale back neck. Even with a single comparison of the great body differences between Valias and himself, it was very far away.

He did a lot of things with his body.

Alister thinks Valias isn't using his wits. It was only fitting that Alister saw him bleed when he was in Frey's room and faced with four elves.

His young master lacked rest and eventually fell.

Valias has fallen a lot. But it seemed that his young master did not care about himself at all.

Valias had already rested without doing anything for four days. Alister looked at it with his own head. After the days since his return from Hayden's palace. So busy with things Alister didn't know before.

But even in four days without even coming out of the room, Alister could see that Valias was always busy with his own thoughts. Teenagers are always thinking. Thinking about things Alister couldn't guess.

But then Alister heard from how Frey said. That Valias saved Hayden's children.

My young master is really something else.

Elsewhere, Valias wondered what the old servant meant

Not back? When am I not coming back?

But then he remembered that it was true that he had spent the night in the palace, and not Valias' room.

"Hm." Valias only let out a murmur in response. Alister also did not speak anymore. So he continued his steps once the robe was completely detached from him. Following the Vetra who had just opened the door of the building and was waiting for its arrival.

Valias got into the building. Seeing some children playing chasing each other in a hallway that is wide enough. They realized the arrival of Vetra. Run towards the woman.

"Sir Vetra!!" exclaim them. Vetra smiled and patted their heads.

"I'm back" he said.

Then one of the children. Nodding. "Yes! Everything's in the main room."

"Good job." Vetra. Ruffling the boy's hair. Then look back. Towards Valias. "We can go straight to the room where the children are gathered, young master. They must have been impatient to see you" he said with a smile.

Valias caught something from the mage's speech. The woman had already prepared for Valias' arrival first. Maybe tell the kids that he'll be back with Valias with him.

That made Valias take a small breath. The plan really didn't go according to the original plan. Is it true that Frey wants to be the child's savior? He doesn't want that.

Vetra led him to a door. With the kids, he opened the door.

Through the open door, the person outside could see the group of children inside.

Those kids. They sat huddled on a carpeted wooden floor. Make them not cold even though sitting on the floor without a bench. The children saw the presence of Vetra and Valias. One of the children straightened his body even though he was still in a sitting position. Both of his eyes widened and his mouth opened.

"Red hair brother!" yells.

That kid is Fee. Who knows Valias' face better than any other child. Because he was facing the young man directly. Valias knelt in front of him. He aligned his eyes with those of shorter stature. Gives Fee a chance to take a close look at her beautiful face. Alis formed. Soft eyes. And a pointed nose. Also thin lips. Not forgetting his face. Fee could instantly note the look of that face inside his head. Stored clearly in his memory for the past five days.

He always wondered if he would have the chance to see Valias again. His red-haired brother. Which had already brought him out of the dark and damp basement.

Finally the opportunity arrived. The adult woman he referred to as Kak Vetra said that he would return to see Valias. Vetra told Fee and all the other kids. To call Valias as Young Master Valias.

But Fee forgets that and subconsciously immediately calls out his initial call on Valias.

But even though he called her with that, in fact, the adult standing next to Vetra did not have red hair. Black as the mage. That confused Fee. But at the same time he felt sure. His vision was not wrong. Flat and empty eyes—but hide a sea of softness behind it—only owned by his red hair brother a.

Everyone has different eyes. And those eyes, only Valias has them.

"All of you, welcome Young Master Valias. He is the one who brought you here. Stand up and pay your respects as I taught you." Vetra said with a happy smile. But then he realized the astonishment on the faces of those children. He looked up and realized something.

"Young master. Let me pull back the magic on your hair" he said.

Valias. Frankly also forget about the color of his hair that is still black. "Hm."

Vetra swung his wand. And in front of everyone, that long black mane of a boat slowly returned to its original color. Colors that can easily attract the attention and attention of everyone. The colors that imprint so strongly in their memory.

That's the red-haired brother. Which in that day, saved them from the adults who locked them up.

Instincts of paying respect instantly arise within them. Those kids. Get up from their sitting and make a bowing pose. Everyone paid their respects to Valias. It was as if Valias was their king.

Valias was aghast but his flat expression remained unchanged.

Miel was among those children. Arriving in front of the building, he received a greeting from a woman with a short stick and several adult servants who immediately invited himself and the four other children in.

In a short time, his four siblings had already gained a lot of attention. They were not her real sisters but to Miel they were her sisters that she needed to protect. That was one of the reasons he had stayed at the Ringen residence. To be able to ascertain the condition of the four locked up children.

Now he and his four siblings are free. They were surrounded by children who had also been in a similar unfortunate state. All the children got together, and shared stories.

From there Miel knew. The robed adult who came to his master's residence, was the one who had saved everyone.

Miel felt sure. If it was for that red-haired young man, Miel would be willing to do anything. In order to give her devotion as a servant, Miel would wholeheartedly do so.

Valias in his place did not feel like he had much to say. From the beginning he wanted Frey to accept the hunchback from the children, but now he is the one in his place.

He doesn't know how he should react. Previously he was jolted when he received a bow of respect from the people inside the tavern when he first went to the city with Dina and Danial. Now receiving a similar hunchback, Valias did not feel so shocked anymore. It was just that, just like before, he did not know what kind of reaction he should have.

Valias breathed in his heart. He told himself he just had to behave as he thought it was right.

"Thank you in the face" he said.

He saw how all the children raised their faces. Following words. Valias for the first time sensed how a large group of people were following everything he said. He thought this was what Frey felt.

Not satisfaction. But pressure. The pressure when many people move over a speech from him.

Valias arranged himself to get out of that thought and let out another sound. "From now on you are citizens of Hayden. This is your residence. Those who want to return to their families, the palace will help you find family and take you to them. Which is not, then the palace will be your residence."

Valias said again. Saying what was inside his head. "You guys are young. You must live your life happily. So do whatever you want. Express your wishes and expectations to the adults around you. They'll help you. In your role, you will be the next generation of adults who are now in the same room as you. Live happily, and be the next servant of Hayden's kingdom."

Everyone will live and Hayden will continue to stand firm. Then the children will continue to grow up and become Hayden figures in the future.

All the children listened to the speech from Valias.

Valias had no intention of giving a speech but his words were already embedded in the minds of those children.

Miel heard. The nobleman told them to live happily. To be Hayden's citizen. And serve the kingdom.

Driven by fortitude, he carried his hand to the front of his chest. Bend and sound. "Good!"

He said that from the bottom of his heart.

He'll follow what Valias says.

To live happily. Out of the shackles of the past. Now he was no longer a slave of the drunken noble. This time, Miel will pursue her own ideals.

The other children were surprised at the voice of Miel who was among them, but then they imitated the older brother of them.

"Good!" All the children cried out at the same time. Once again pay homage to Valias. Who was only able to see a large group of children saluting him without being able to prevent him.

"Hm." Valias mutters. "I think this short visit will suffice, Miss Vetra. I want to see the situation of the last two children. I guess they're in not so good shape?"

He asked Vetra. Vetra captures it as Vetra's concern for children who are made slaves. Vetra's respect for the young man was piling up and finally the woman nodded quickly. A gentle smile appeared on his face. "I've guessed the young master has a heart as big as Hayden's land. Yes, young master. I'll take you to those two kids." He smiled gently. Valias felt the woman's mage misunderstood something but Valias had no idea what straightening she should give. He just nodded. Let the Vetra take him away from the children.

A room with a bed. Two of them filled. On it lay two teenage male figures in each of them.

They opened their eyes. It was as if they were aware of the arrival of someone inside the room they were in.

Valias saw them. Full of bandages and cotton patches. There's plaster on their torn lips. They seemed to have received a hard fist in the face. Their cheeks are blue. But their eyes were fine and untouched.

They look bad, but they seem to be okay. Both of them got up from their beds. Walk with quick steps towards Valias. Unexpectedly, the two teenagers knelt down. Subjugate head. Valias was unable to react and ended up just looking at those under his flat gaze.

"We, have heard from Miss Rania. It was you who saved us. We want to thank you. We'll work for you, young master."

One of them spoke on behalf of the other. They have the same thoughts. They want to express their gratitude by perpetuating themselves to the person who has saved them.

Valias felt he had to accept the fact that everyone now saw him as a savior.

Is this really okay? It won't affect my plans, will it?

Valias was worried. But he didn't show it. With an untouchable expression he opened his mouth. "I accept your intentions. But I want you to devote yourself to His Majesty King Frey. I think you can be one of the palace workers."

Both raised their faces. Seems not understood. "Her Majesty the king?"

Valias nodded. But he saw the disappointment of the two children.

"You don't want to?" tanyakanya.

The two children were silent. But then she shook slowly.

"We, want to devote ourselves to the person who saved us. The one who saved us was, Mr. Valias."

Valias can't hear that anymore. He lowered his body. Align his eyes to the two teenagers who put their calves on the floor.

"Then take this as my personal request. I want you to work for the palace for me. Will you do that?"

Valias saw the two children raising their faces with shocked expressions. But then Valias saw a twinkle from their eyes. The two boys nodded.

"We understand. We'll be Hayden's knights!"

Valias started to smile. He re-enforced his body. Relief approached him. "Then I say thank you" he said. "I hope you're cured soon."

The two boys closed their lips. Revelance seemed to radiate from both of their eyes. "Thank you, young master Valias."

Valias did not respond anymore. He turned away. He felt like he wanted to quickly get out of the building containing the children. He better get back to Frey's room.

The Vetra behind him was unable to hold back his smile.

He's correct. Valias is a figure who can easily attract the desire of someone to devote themselves to him. Even Vetra himself felt himself willing to die for the young man.

Valias is an easy person to respect. Vetra believes there will be more and more people who claim to want to devote themselves to the young man. Because to have respect for the noble Bardev is indeed that easy.

Alister who was walking after Valias had a smile on his face.

Will I have a rival?

He was amused thinking about it.

When night falls, Oza and Radja appear in Frey's room. With Radja carrying a sack on her shoulder.

Oza says. "We took him."
