"Ukhs..."
Frey held his head with both hands. "It never ends. All this bullshit paper. I want to burn them all."
Frey's whimper made Valias remember his college friends.
"I'll burn our university buildings! It's totally useless!"
"Don't worry. Brother's lawyer. You're definitely not gonna be defended."
"Then I'll kill myself!"
"Your body will be thrown into the river and I'll let the shark eat it."
"There are no sharks in the river!"
"I think we're racing to create nonsense. In this case, congratulations. No one wins."
Valias involuntarily smiled. Frey noticed it and immediately frowned.
"What's so funny?"
"Yes? No."
Valias reads one paper at a time on Frey's desk. Remarked. "They have interesting ideas."
"Make explosives, put jewelry on the border wall." Frey breathed. "The empty shell that never ends."
"Your majesty thinks they've started making what they're writing here?"
"What about what you called a firearm back then? No one has mentioned that before. But they made it." Frey has an ugly face.
Valias took another paper.
"Hayden a peaceful kingdom."
"really. No crime reports. There were no reports of violations of regulations. It's very peaceful." Frey has a circus voice. Valias chuckles.
"Well, not so bad."
Frey raised an eyebrow. "You think so?"
"Bad things will come up on their own. No need to worry too much." Valias reads the paper in his hand. "And if I think about it again, you're right. We don't have to hunt too much."
Frey blinked before sneering. "You said that but you're still going to go."
"There's no harm."
Frey looked at Valias before asking.
"You received a message from the gods again?"
Valias lifted his chin. Frey looked at him. Sharp eyes. Wanted to know what Valias' answer would be.
"I never received a god's message."
Frey widens eyes. Sneaking then. "What?"
"I lied then."
Frey gnawing. "You lied?"
"Hm." Valias nodded.
Frey frowned. "Then?"
"Then what?"
"Then how do you know??" Frey asked not to accept. The shape of his face could no longer be described.
Valias looks at Frey. Shut up before you breathe.
"I'm not from here."
"Not from here, does it mean from another kingdom? Your mother's an illegal immigrant?"
"No. I am from another world, Your Majesty."
Frey did not speak. His mouth was open but he refused to make any sound. He lowered his face and laughed. "Haha Valias. You want to joke? You want to comfort me from anger? Your jokes are so funny and you joke around so suddenly that I can't tell the difference. Your expression hasn't even changed at all. Your flat face is well-attached." Frey held her stomach and forehead. Then raised his face to look at Valias. Seeing that person showed no change in expression at all. He looked at the new paper in his hand. There's no laughter. There is no stupid smile.
A consciousness approached Frey.
Valias never jokes.
Valias is a serious man. He never messes with his words and Frey can always hold his words. He hasn't known Valias for long but that's what he's caught.
He's serious. "You, seriously?"
"I have no desire to lie. But I didn't think of another way." Valias took another paper.
Frey quiet. "When you say another world, what world do you mean?" Frey cringing. "You're dead?"
"Maybe yes, maybe not."
Frey's face doesn't understand. "What do you mean?"
"I am from a world commonly referred to as the modern world."
"Modern world?"
"Yes. But more precisely the real world."
Frey doesn't understand. "What do you mean in the real world? How is it different from the world we live in?"
Valias stopped his eye movements. Thinking how he should answer.
"Forget it."
"What?"
"Whether I am from here or another world will not change anything. So forget it."
"You can't just start a topic and throw it away." Frey protests.
Valias was silent before sighing silently.
"I can't tell you why I know. But it's not because I received the god's message. It never happened and it never will."
There was the real Valias Bardev who appeared in his head and spoke to him.
Frey began to look at Valias in a different way. "Then, are you Valias Bardev?"
"I'm not the real Valias Bardev. I'm occupying his body."
"You're a ghost?"
"Not really." Valias put the paper in his hand on the table. "But His Majesty can take it that way."
"Then, where is Valias Bardev?"
"In my head. Maybe."
Frey doesn't know how he should react.
"What's your name?"
Valias mutters. "Maybe you better not know."
Frey looked at Valias. "Can I still trust you?"
Valias looked back at Frey. Saw him with a pushy face.
"That's your decision. Whether you believe it or not, Your Majesty just needs to see for himself." Valias tapped the paper in front of him. "My goal won't change."
Frey watched Valias from his place.
What purpose? But just asking. "Are you still the Valias I know?"
Valias looked at Frey and gave a small smile. "Unless you've met Valias Bardev before our meeting on your birthday, then yes. I am Valias whose Majesty knows."
Frey has a stiff face.
Valias he knows. Valias met him on his birthday. The palace invitation day. The palace had already made several invitations to the nobles but the invitation back then was different for Frey. Because it was a day where his passion to be king Hayden was at a higher point than before. The day his father King Chalis died, and he was subjected to an attempted assault. Although it was not so because he was not injured. The one who was injured was Valias.
Valias who received the message of the gods. Then he dropped a big rock on her. And made him lose his words many times. That's the Valias Frey knows. Even at this moment, Valias had just given him a new surprise.
Another world? He's not the real Valias Bardev?
Frey found it hard to accept the statement. "Why are you telling me this?"
If Frey was in his position, he wouldn't tell anyone his secret. It might even be planning something like destroying Hayden. Valias, who he knew, always said that he wanted Hayden to win the war.
But what if he's lying?
What if Valias is hiding something he doesn't know?
Do I trust him too much?
Valias' words made Frey realize that he had placed too much trust in the noble's son. What if Frey can't believe it? "Where do I know if I can trust you or not?"
Valias raises eyebrows. Little chuckles. "Your Majesty is worried?"
"How can I show it? Your Majesty must make a judgment. If I make Your Majesty suspicious, will Your Majesty kill me?"
Frey frowned. Such a light question, only Valias had it.
He always underestimated his own life.
He hasn't changed.
To be exact, he hasn't changed.
He's the Valias I know.
Frey covered his face. "Why do you always surprise me? Is that a talent you have? What other secrets do you have? If you were actually my half-brother?"
Valias blinked before laughing. "No, your honor. That's not possible."
"I can't deny the fact that I still have a lot of things that I keep to myself. But what Your Majesty needs is Hayden's glory and I won't break the promise I've made."
"What promise?"
Hands placed on the table.
"Hayden will not be destroyed as I said and no one will die."
Frey closed his mouth. Valias who said that made Frey think that the war would take a lot of casualties.
He swallowed.
What if he's the one who died? What if it's people close to him? His family. Kalim and Uvan.
Then he lifted his face.
What if it's Valias?
Valias is sick. What if Valias wasn't there when Hayden actually won?
He looked at Valias who was putting on a smile. The smile she always had when she was showing her faith. Frey pressed. "You must promise me to always tell the truth."
Valias blinked at Frey who was looking at him with sharp eyes.
"I still have the right to keep things a secret." He gave a refusing speech. "But,"
Valias chuckles. "You can trust me, Your Majesty. As long as I don't get carried back into my world or die, then I'll continue to be there helping you to Hayden."
"Now," Valias tapped the paper on the table with the tip of his index finger.
"I got one pretty interesting idea."
Frey was pensive on how Valias shifted the topic but still hardened his face. "What?"
Valias wanted to ask himself.
What's wrong with me?
Valias realized his slowly changing self. Since he's been to the world of Valias Bardev. He met with things he had never met before.
Abused. Hadden. Danial and Ruri. Then Frey, Kei, Wistar and Dylan. Valias finds himself wanting to be their helper. Even though he had doubts that he could. But he still wants to try.
In this world, he wanted to be the best version of hers. He had become too quiet before. He's aware of that. He can survive because there are friends around him. Without them, Abimala might have met with failure earlier.
He remembered when all that had changed. At least, with him acting out a new identity now. He wants to try to be someone different. Someone like his friend. "Has there ever been a noble who asked to come face to face with His Majesty King Chalis before?"
Frey pouted his face at the question. "No."
"What about you?"
"As far as I know, you're the only person who can casually ask for time to meet a king."
"Is that so?"
"Hm."
"Then let's invite someone to the palace."
"Who?" Frey frowned.
Valias tapped the paper under his hand. "Hayden has more interesting people than I thought. An aristocrat asked for your support in making a trading place underground."
Frey raised his eyebrows without taking away his pain altogether. "Alen Arlcliff."
Valias nodded. Frey asked. "What are you planning?"
"Maybe we can make the elves live underground Hayden."
Frey is at a loss for words.
"The elves?"
"Yes." Yeah." Valias. "From the beginning we have to protect them."
"Protect them from what?"
"They were determined to be forced to work for one of the neighboring kingdoms."
"Not Solossa?"
"Not."
"Then?"
"Your Majesty doesn't need to know yet. But," Valias looked at the paper in front of him. "It would be good if we could live with us. Behind Hayden's wall. We can combine our territories, Your Majesty."
"Upper and lower regions."
"true."
"What do they live like now?"
"They live underground." Valias stopped his sentence. "I can't explain more than that."
Frey sneering. "You really keep something to yourself." Valias.
It's not really something that should be kept secret.
Frey pouted a face. "You think we can trust him?"
"There's no other way." Valias raises his shoulders. "We have to make it trustworthy."
"What do you mean?"
"watchful over. Make sure you can't cheat."
"And who will confirm it? You you?"
"Not."
"Then?"
"Kei and his friends."
Frey is speechless.

Chapter 57's
"I told him to come."
"Good."
"I'll believe you."
"It's good to hear it."
"I'll watch you."
"I did plan to do some things without your knowledge."
"What?"
"You're right. I've surprised you too much. So I'll move on without telling you. You'll just need to see the results."
"How am I gonna know if I'm gonna like what you're gonna do or not?"
"So Your Majesty doesn't protest if I contact you every day?"
"......I'll cover my face in frustration but I won't complain."
Valias mutters.
"So you're going?"
"Yes." Yeah."
"You prepare what you need to prepare."
"Your Majesty doesn't need to tell me."
"Then I won't ask you what you're planning to do again."
"really. Your Majesty doesn't need to know."
"Make sure whatever mess you're making won't carry Hayden's name."
"What I'm going to do is for Hayden but I'm going to make myself look like an ordinary freelance researcher."
"And if you're sick?"
"I won't be sick."
"But what if it is?"
"Then what has to happen will happen."
"You're gonna bleed from your nose and you're gonna lose consciousness." Frey frowned.
"Maybe."
"And what about when that happened?"
"How what?"
"What are you gonna do????"
Valias frowned. "What else am I going to do? If you faint, just faint. Maybe I'll wake up on the side of the road. Then go home."
"You, you don't really mean those words, do you?" Frey was dumbfounded at Valias's indifference.
"If Kei is kind enough then he will take me. Otherwise, between him cutting off my head and hanging it or he'll leave me there and go home to where he lives with his friends." Valias speaks original.
Frey holds the neck where his junkyard is. "He, he cut people's heads off?"
"He does it often" Valias said.
In the story he read, Valias could no longer count how much Kei cut off someone's head. Cut their necks. Slash them until a head floats and finally falls on the ground or floor like an oblong ball and bleeds. "Because what?" ask Frey.
"Because he doesn't like that guy."
Kei will cut off anyone's head that makes him unhappy. It was that easy for him to swing his sword and lift a life.
Kei's darkness increased after he saw the rottenness of the nobles in Hayden.
At that time, even his friends were afraid of him. Radja stopped talking. Oza didn't have enough courage to get close. Kei is like a beast with a dark body and sharp eyes. But after that he changed. Back to her previous self. His friends approached him again.
But when that happens, war comes. Makes Kei lose them again.
Valias realizes he's been talking bad. He shouldn't have said that about Kei. He hasn't done it yet. And he wouldn't have done it if Valias could've kept him from doing that. Valias will get Kei to control his emotions. Having a bunch of headless corpses in Hayden was not a good thing. "Forget that. I'm talking nonsense. He never did that. I just talk without thinking."
Frey darkened his face.
Valias never talks nonsense. If he says that, then that's what happens. Maybe that was the truth but Valias then covered it up.
He wanted to cover up what Kei was doing. Wh why? Why would he want to protect her? Although Kei has done nothing, Kei has injured Valias several times. Small injuries.
Why isn't Valias angry? If Frey was in his position he'd be mad. Why is Valias still covering up the bad things about his brother?
Frey frowned but then shook his head. "alright. I'll forget it."
He prefers not to know that Kei likes to behead people. Imagining him making a mistake and instantly finding himself floating in the air while his body was still where he stood. Then hit the ground. Frey didn't want that to happen to her. Not to the people he knows.
Frey had never seen a death sentence before. It's not in Hayden. There is, but it has never been done. Not as far as he knows.
Frey wondered if there would be a time when he was consumed with emotion and swung his royal sword. Cutting someone's head. He thought it could happen if he had an overwhelming anger at something. Anger caused by what, Frey doesn't know. And hopefully that will never happen.
Valias thought about how he would travel.
He's going with Kei. But how will he go?
They're gonna need someone to make the magic move. But who's gonna do it?
Valias began to think whether he would learn magic as well.
"Don't try to do that."
A voice suddenly sounded.
Valias.
That voice, that voice,
Valias Bardev's.
Valias stood up from his seat. Walk to the corner of the room. Stay away from Frey. Frey looked at him confused. He stood up because he felt Valias was acting strangely.
What's wrong with her?
He looked at Valias who was standing on his back. Valias in his place was holding one ear.
"You there?"
He called. But there's no answer.
"Valias?"
"Ah shit. Assume I never said that. Forget me. Assume I never existed."
The voice inside his head answered. "You, do you read my mind?" Valias asked confusedly.
Valias Bardev did not answer.
"Valias?"
"Yes! Yep! Yep! I did! You don't like it?!"
Valias frowned. "You shouldn't have done that."
"It's hard to hold myself back when I can do it. Besides," Valias Bardev spoke in his head again. "You have a very straight mind, uncle. You never think anything weird."
Valias raised his eyebrows. "What weird?"
"You don't need to know. I'm glad you're a straight man. I don't need to see any weird stuff out of your head." His voice clucked.
"You can't do that, Valias. A person's mind belongs to that person. You can't get into their minds." Valias.
"You don't have to tell me that. I already know." Valias Bardev is heard grumbling by turning the eyeball.
Valias questioned then? But he didn't say it. But who would have guessed that Valias Bardev was still reading his mind? "You're from another world like you said. I have to keep an eye on you."
Valias pouted his face.
Everyone said they wanted to watch me. What have I done? He asked himself.
"You didn't do anything. But that's exactly what's suspicious. Uncle." Valias Bardev speaks in his head. Then call. "You have a plan to make yourself die first so that the others can survive?"
Valias. Not answering.
Valias Bardev. "There is no need to deny. I know what's inside your head. You have a great desire to kill yourself."
Valias did not answer. He tried to straighten his head. Frowning.
Valias Bardev speaks. "All right all right. You can think of a way to talk to me. But you should also know that I've seen a lot of what you're thinking. You can't dodge anything. I'm not supposed to read your mind so I'm gonna stop. You can calm down."
(a/n: I would never let anyone see what's inside my head. A very terrible place to be in)
Valias frowned. "You promise?"
"I promise."
Valias doesn't like faces. He did not know whether Valias Bardev was serious or not. But he hopes the teenager is telling the truth. He doesn't want anyone to read his mind.
"I hope we can talk tonight" Valias said.
The teenager in his head asked. "You want to talk to me?"
"Yes" replied Valias.
"About what?"
"You'll see later."
"I have the freedom to see you or not. I have full power in your subconscious. You can't force me."
Valias grumbling. "Of course I can't force you."
"At least I told you what I wanted to do. You will prepare yourself to talk to me" he continued.
Valias Bardev clucked. "Whatever." He then spoke again. "Now return to the crown prince. You must have confused her."
Valias waited for another voice and the voice in his head never appeared again. Turning around looked at Frey who was standing in his place with a puzzled face. There's a trace of anxiety there.
"What's going on?" tanyakanya.
Valias sees Frey before returning to his place. "There's nothing."
"You left suddenly. Did you receive the god's message?" Frey frowned.
"I told you it never happened."
"Cerhaps." frey scowled. "You've brought gods with you in your lies. What if he comes to you?"
Valias put his face in. "That's not gonna happen."
"Where do you know?" ask Frey. "Don't we always believe that gods exist to punish our bad deeds? Does He want to be made into a fabric of lies by you?"
Valias.
If he thought about it again, it was indeed terrifying. But he's sure it won't happen. "Forget that. I'll make sure of a few things."
Valias sat down and put the ends of his fingers on the table. Looking towards Frey. "You'll be King Hayden."
Frey looked at Valias and frowned.
Why is it with him all of a sudden?
But then Frey remembered the doubt he had.
Is he worthy? What if Valias was the one who was more entitled to be king?
He had been prepared to be king since he was a child. She was encouraged to study by her mother the queen. He's been under a lot of pressure from that. He was always viewed by everyone as the next King of Hayden. He's getting pressure on his shoulder from that. When he was twenty-one, he saw what was not good about the way his father led Hayden. And he wants to change that. He wants to be different from Chalis. And when on his twenty-second birthday, his determination in becoming king increased many times.
But then Valias showed up. Give her some doubt.
He saw Valias. Clenched his hand.
"really. I'll be king of Hayden."
No. gabe. I will be king. This is my wish. I won't let anyone take that position. The position of King Hayden, is mine.
Frey showed his faith in Valias. He is King Hayden. He's gonna be King Hayden. That's the thing that's gonna happen. Frey will make sure that happens.
Valias nodded. From the beginning there was no doubt about it. "When His Majesty has obtained your King's title," Valias told him. "Please give Oza the position of prime minister."
"........."
Frey then raised his voice. "Oza???!!"
Frey dumbfounded. Oza. That boy. Kei's friend that one. Frey knows it well. Valias wants Frey to make him prime minister of Hayden?
"You're serious?" requestion it.
Valias nodded.
oza always wanted to be prime minister. He had a great desire to intervene with Hayden's government. The kingdom where he lives. He wanted to change Hayden with his own two hands. Not as a king, but as a minister. That is the goal -
That is what the author says in his story.
Oza is a kid with big ideas.
Oza is a genius who has a lot of ideas in his head. If Valias can get him to give his ideas to Hayden. Hayden would have a huge advantage. "We'll give him that position if he wants."
And when Hayden was free of war. Hayden would become the strongest kingdom in the Reiss Continent. And when that happens, Valias will turn Hayden into a democratic state. Like where he came from. His country. Indoneszian.
