"Fuck man."
Vetra spoke as he saw the children and also the last noble that Valias had come to.
Vetra had already made fifty pieces of magic parchment. Hand it over to Valias in the bag that was in the young noble's hands. He had already come with the palace servants to escort the children from the Durah warehouse to the west side of the palace. The building Frey used to house the children for a while.
The children's condition is really not good. It was as bad as the children that Vetra saw at Arlern. But this time some of them had the scars of whipping.
That lady.
Vetra clenched his hands. Snarl. If he can, then he will invite duel women who own the fake cloth warehouse.
No magic or anything. Just his two hands. He would duel with that woman as a fellow woman.
Picking each other? Doesn't sound bad. Vetra wanted to express her frustration and emotions to the preening woman.
Vetra was immersed in the warmth of his heart seeing the children getting the attention of the palace servants. The kids look confused. They really don't understand what's going on with them. Why do some adults suddenly bathe them. Combing their hair. Give them clothes that look good and smell good. The children never wore clothes as good and beautiful as the ones they were wearing. It made them full of astonishment.
They used to believe that they had ugly faces. Because their faces are always dull and their hair is messy. But when those black and white-clothed adults did some things to them, they could see the figure of a beautiful and handsome child on the surface of the mirror. They were so fascinated by the figure of the child there that they did not believe that it was their own reflection.
A boy named Fee showed up. Inviting friends. Give a welcome to the newly arrived children. Saying.
"Did you see the red-haired brother? It must be that brother who brought you here, right? Are all the kids back? You were sent to Solossa. Me and our friends here have not been sent and first saved by brother Valias. Don'worry. Our friends who are in Solossa will definitely join us soon."
The newly arrived children had faces of no understanding. Listening to the lively voice barrage of the child who had just appeared.
Red-haired brother? They don't see it. All they saw was the figure of four people, one of whom was Vetra. Adults dressed in black and white are like people who bathe and dress them but with different models of clothing. In addition, the woman was holding a staff with a gemstone in her hand.
Those kids have never seen anything like it. The shiny stone. They've never seen it.
The thing that happened to them, about how they were no longer in the warehouse of cloth belonging to a woman named Durah, and instead were in front of a large building suddenly. They were greeted by a row of adults in black and white clothes. A line of adults who are now with them. After dressing them.
"You confused? What happened before was magic! The brothers said it was magic. Magic allows us to do things we could not do before. The brothers promised us to do little magic. You guys join us!" Fee invites to talk to children who have just come so excited and cheerful. Vetra felt so happy in his heart.
Those kids. He saved them. From rotten people. That's Hayden and Solossa.
Vetra wants to see those kids grow up to be great people. Vetra can see it. A boy named Fee. Who called and spoke to Valias on the first day.
The child has become a pillar for the other children. Fee's existence is like a bonfire in a room that's cold for those kids. Vetra. As long as there is a Fee, then there will be no children drowning in their past anymore. Caged in a dark room, forced to work when it is not yet time, not getting enough food, receiving a handful of violence, Vetra wants the children to forget all that.
With Valias. And Fee. Vetra will participate in creating happiness for those children.
Vetra was so immersed in happiness that it burst in his heart. Forgetting the real thing is happening at the same time.
He was flabbergasted when he saw the figure of five children in front of the building. It was Miel and the other four children. Each of them held two paper rips in their hands.
From there Vetra knew. Valias is done dealing with one of the nobles. There are four more.
Valias tells him that Vetra doesn't need to come to him. The young nobleman instead asked him to be a welcoming of children who would continue to arrive in front of the building of the western part of the palace with a tear of parchment paper in their hands.
After the last three groups of children, Vetra uses her magic to bring herself to Valias' place. With her pouch in Valias's hand as the destination, she sees herself with Valias and Kei and Alister in front of a luxurious building gate. But it is not comparable to the residential buildings of the great nobles in Hayden such as Bardev and Adelard.
Vetra then realized the whereabouts of others among the three people in front of him. A woman who looks familiar.
"You?" Vetra voiced with furrowed eyebrows. "What are you doing here?"
Durah was surprised by the reappearance of Vetra. The woman who had previously come with Valias and Kei to her warehouse. From there Durah could tell that Vetra was a mage. As the daughter of the Viscount, she had been to the palace and saw mage figures with sticks and Solossa palace uniforms. Looking at Vetra, he could guess that Vetra was a mage working for Hayden's palace. It means Valias is a figure who has a relationship with the royal family. Making him have the authority to use the palace mage.
Durah looked at Vetra who was looking at him fiercely. Durah did not want to lose and finally put up a fierce eye to the woman's mage. A spark appeared between them. Valias felt himself able to see that and was at a loss for words. He had never seen women or women in conflict. As a man who has never had any problems, Valias as Abimala has never been involved in any conflict. Seeing the two female figures in front of him sharing a fierce gaze made Valias not know what to behave like.
Kei averted his gaze while Alister smiled consoledly.
The same thing the Valias group did to the residence of other nobles who had previously been visited first was done to the noble residence which was now their destination. The last noble, with the last children who had been sold to Solossa by Lout.
"King Hayden-" He did not expect himself to deal directly with a king from another kingdom. He knows he has to be careful.
Valias told me the meaning. Asking him to hand Hayden's children over to her.
Appeared the moment the Viscount refused. Refuting Valias's speech. Saying that such a thing was not in his residence. He never messed with Hayden's child traffickers and the kids didn't exist.
Valias breathes. Summoning Kei with the fake name he had previously given the young man. Kei without a sound immediately brought himself inside the residence building of Viscount Keim. Valias chose not to come because he knew what was going to happen. Instead Vetra asked Valias for permission to join Kei. Got permission from the young boy in disguise.
Vetra saw Kei walking inside the building without being stopped by anyone. His steps are full of confidence. It was as if he had been to Viscount Keim's residential building and had memorized all the twists and turns of his room.
No one can stop him. Not even Viscount Keim. Vetra saw Kei arrive in front of a door. The door was locked so Kei broke into it with his feet. One kick and the door was broken. From outside the building Alister could hear the commotion that was happening inside and just smiled amusedly. Ruckus. She liked.
The next thing Kei and Vetra saw was, something they had never thought of before. Things that really are beyond their expectations.
Those kids. Stand with your back against the wall surface. Both hands were cuffed over their heads. The number of children in the room carrying the locked ground was three. They were all men in their teens. Danial's age, if Valias sees it. They were bare-chested and scars filled their bodies.
They are marks of blows, and whips of whips. Most of the wounds have turned into scabs. The three children were between conscious and unconscious. Blood was on their lips and chins. Something happened and the children were hurt.
Vetra shut his mouth unable to see. Kei's face darkened. His hand grasped the handle of the sword and pulled it out. The sound of the sword blade was heard by everyone. Including Viscount Keim who was on the stairs of the basement with five male servants. He shuddered in horror and even let out a terrified screech when he saw Kei swing his sword. He had known since the first time he saw the figure of the young man carrying his hand to the sword hilt. The young man will cut him off.
Kei had already swung the sword but the voice of someone sounded from within his ears. That guy already said.
"Kei, promise me not to hurt anyone. Whatever you see, whatever happens to those kids, you can't hurt the nobles we're about to meet. That's the only thing I ask for. In exchange, I will repay them. In another way. Someday. That's what I promised."
Valias' voice hummed itself inside his head. Kei is at war with himself. Emotions filled him. He had never felt this angry in his entire life. Not even when she first lost her mother and sister. Not even when he saw the kids at Arlern. The rage he was feeling right now, made him capable of destroying an entire kingdom. He's gonna kill everybody. He would burn all the residences of the nobles and even burn the bodies of those nobles along with their residence.
The two hands of Kei grasping the sword above his head trembled. He's holding his anger. His eyes were filled with wrath but he held himself back.
He stepped back. Reverse body. With a face that no one could see because it was covered by a strand of her hair, she swung her sword. Crush the rusty chains of handcuffs. It was very easy to destroy with a swing of his sword.
The three children who were on the verge of his consciousness fell down and immediately laid down on the ground of the basement in a tilted position. None of them can make a sound or move even if they are just moving their fingers.
Vetra was unable to hold back her cries. The crying of a mixture of sadness and anger. Also distrust. He could only move the three children directly to a room in the western building of the palace. Making the three children instantly receive treatment from the palace maids and even healers.
Vetra returned to Valias' place. Seeing himself in the room for guests. Valias sat on the sofa with a pale, haired man and messy clothes sitting in front of him.
"I hope you'll accept this offer." Valias' voice sounded. "You can give your consent."
Vetra could see a woman standing in the corner of the room with her three children. The woman shuddered to accept Vetra's blank eyes. Vetra then noticed blood spots on the clothes of one of the children. Then recall that among the three children inside that basement, there was one who had a new wound. Scratches that are still wet and still bleed.
Vetra clenched his hands. If he could he wanted to move them with his magic to a volcano that he knew was on a continent not far from the continent of Reiss which unfortunately did not exist in Reiss. Make them fall into the lava puddle and burn there alive.
Just like the previous nobles, Valias offered to exchange the child's return and also permission to open a business in Hayden instead. This time he added.
"I'll also ask you to keep what happened today to only you. No one needs to know that we found the kids in the basement of your residence." Valias said with a smile. Viscount Keim did not feel any fear from the figure of the person in the robe sitting in front of him. But he felt an overwhelming fear in the man with the sword at his waist who was standing beside the figure with the robe.
Viscount Keim tau. He had no choice but to refuse. He pressed his finger which already had a red dye on the paper. Heard a figure who claimed to be named Amon saying goodbye. Reminds him not to tell anyone what happened. Ensuring that his wife, three children, and servants keep their mouths. To lock their mouths tightly. Or Hayden would do something to them.
Valias' group exited Viscount Keim's residence without being escorted by anyone. As soon as they arrived in front of the gate with the Durah wagon still left there, Valias saw the facial expression Kei had and patted the young man's arm.
"You did a good job. I have given my promise. You don't have to worry. Thank you for remembering my request."
Looking at Vetra's blank and pale expression, as well as how Valias could not see the whereabouts of the remaining three children in Viscount Keim's residence, Valias knew that Vetra had already brought them to the palace. The thing that makes Vetra directly bring them there without consideration. Something that is definitely not a good thing.
That day, all the children in Solossa had returned to Hayden. And the next thing Valias would do was to make someone deal with the nobles in Hayden.
One of them was Viscount Arlern.
